Good morning …..finally a beautiful less humid day over here!! How was your weekend? Finally the horribly humid weather broke yesterday and we had a spectacular day. Started it off by going on a walk with a few friends, then hit a local farm for some fresh fruit and veges, I got basil the size of a small tree! Ended it with seeing the Bourne Legacy, which we thought was excellent. Jason Renner was fantastic (and this is by no means a genre I normally enjoy) but it really kept you on the edge of your seat! Sister coming in today with family on way back from Maine so I will be busy entertaining today. I have a very busy week ahead….how about you? Whats new in your world?
OK, if you have been visiting my blog even for a few hours, its no secret that I LOVE blue and white, all things for that matter. But especially blue and white porcelain and bring it up a notch and make it blue and white ginger jars. Is there not a room in the world that doesn’t and wouldn’t look sensational with them? I think not! i have seen them in the most unsuspecting places and sure enough, they looked stupendous. I am a firm believe and a self appointed president of the blue and white ginger jar club! So here we go….30 beautiful reasons why they just rock my world.

Gorgeous. Loving them place above the french doors. I’d be afraid they would fall but I guess the only risk would be an earthquake or little kids who slam doors. So glad the humidity broke there. It was brutal yesterday – gave me a migraine, (and screwed w/ my hair). I’m hoping it breaks today. I’m ready for fall, it’s my favorite time of the year. Have fun w/ your sister. I love Maine, what part is she from? xo

So many great jars here. I think my favorites are the ones that have been used as topiaries in the kitchen. Next would be the jars on the staircase landing. Just picked up two great Ralph Lauren lamps this weekend with a ginger jar style base. Love them already! Have a great Monday.

Yes I am a very big ginger jar fan and very much enjoying the pair I bought from you! I love the lamps too and definitely agree that they can work in almost any style/color room.
We saw the movie and my husband thought it was the best “Bourne” movie to date.
Loved this post, have a great day Tina.

Our hot weather is still raging, fall cannot come soon enough! It has been brutally hot. Love this post and becasue of you my affection for blue and white has soared!I love the jars and the lamps, nice lamps are harder and harder to find!
Such beauitul rooms that show how a touch of blue and white can add so much elegance and beauty to a room. You should have included all your rooms with them, as they are the best of the best!
Stay cool!

GOOD MORNING BEAUTIFUL!

Oh Tina, I have been away from Blogland due to having a wonderful week with my cousins from out of town. We had a BLAST! I am so happy to now have a larger living space to appropriately accommodate guests!

I have missed you and here is a great way to jump back into the game, to see your signature blue and white jars. Every image is fabulous and now you are making me think about these beauties! I have a fabulous antique store down the street that carries these….I shall go look!

Have a marvelous day! Anita

I also love blue and white and enjoy the ones I bought from you to add to my collection. Recently, I shopped in my own home and moved a pair of rather large lidded ginger jars to the island in my newly renovated kitchen. I love the scale. Your images are beautiful. One of my favorite is the dining room with the yellow table skirt and blue plaid topper. The blue and white pieces on the table look wonderful with those green chairs. Love your new lamps as well.
Have a great week.
Best…Victoria

Good Morning Tina! Beautiful displays of ginger jars. Set on the floor by a couch, on a side table, in clusters or by themselves.. they always look stunning. I’m so pleased with the ones that I’ve purchased through you Tina. Mine are on a side table, in my kitchen filled with flowers, and on the mantle flanking a french mirror. They look beautiful πŸ™‚

Enjoy the visit with your sister!

I have collected blue and white jars and other pieces for 28 years now, I LOVE THEM! Loved all these images and saved this post as inspiration for the NEW HOUSE! XO, Pinky

Tina,
I love how you live…embracing all that life has to offer!!!

I do love blue and white, even though it’s not predominant in my home. I have a cluster of blue and white ginger jars and bowls….but think I need to add to my small collection to give it more of a WOW factor!!

Looks like a beauty today….enjoy!

What a pretty, pretty post! I loved gawking at all of the blue and white, we are such fans of the look. And you got in some beautiful pieces, especially the ginger jar lamps due in next week! Loved hearing you enjoyed the Bourne Legacy, that is at the top of our list.

Happy new week to you!

That first photo, along with the display at my local Oscar de la Renta, has been the inspiration for what I want to do on my table! In fact, I spent ALL weekend trying to find the perfect ginger jars in Dallas with ZERO luck! I am off to check out your shop now!!!

Soooo gorgeous. Plan to pin but will give credit to Enchanted Home. Thank you so much for the inspiring blogs and photos!!! Carol

No one does blue and white better than you Tina! πŸ™‚ I also saw Bourne on Friday night and I LOVE that guy – so much better and I think he has a great edge to every role he plays – he is one of my new favorite actors. I am loving my basil “tree” too – nothing like those fresh sprigs on summer veggies as part of my new healthy living. πŸ™‚ (well at least trying…:)) Hope you have a great week Tina!

The past 3 days have been just glorious without the humidity here as well! It was a great and actually perfect way to finish off the move to college with my son! Love all of your blue and white and so glad you enjoyed a nice weekend! Enjoy this time with your sister as well!

I have quite a bit of blue and white scattered about, would love to add two large jars one of these days!

Lovely inspiration. Wisteria just added quite a bit of blue and white ceramics to their online catalog – worth a peek!

That is irrefutable evidence that blue and white ginger jars are the quintessential accessory – they work in any room, any setting, any colour scheme, any style, any taste. Timeless, classic and universally applicable.

Yes…..Yes…..Yes….blue and white is a classic and always will be! I have been designing for 25 years and they work in just about any room.
