Forewarning you are entering a serious blue and white zone…don’t say I didn’t warn you!

I am so flattered that some consider me a blue and white expert:) Thanks for your confidence and faith in my blue and white abilities. One thing is to be sure, I do love it and am in constant awe of its transformative abilities:) One thing I get asked a lot is tips on how to curate or build a blue and white collection. So, as I prepared to answer several of these emails I figured there are probably a bunch of other blue and white enthusiasts out there who might be wanting to know the same thing, hence this post. Lets delve right in…..

Blue and white giveaway details on bottom

Buy what you love. Yes, I know cliche that it is..it is true! When we really buy what we truly love, we enjoy it more, make more of an effort to find just the right spot, tend to think of more creative ways to reinvent the said item even when we have had it a long time. and because the initial emotion you felt when buying what you love is typically one of admiration and love, chances are high you will always love what you create, take it from me!

Could it get any prettier! I Love the idea of a pair of ginger jars on either end and a bunch of small decorative objects in the center. Then a basket was added on the bottom with another pair of jars, it works! Lonny

Case in point, nothing “matches” here but oh how beautiful it is!

Proof that there is no such thing as too much blue and white! I love the idea of the blue and white on brackets, a big bowl in center of console, and two large lidded ginger jars on floor, gorgeous! John Bossard

This arrangement is one of my personal faves, a pretty jar or vase that can use for flower display and a pair of ginger jars on the bottom of the console, Ashely Whittaker
Love this large scaled console filled with blue and white beauties! Oscar de la Renta
I really like this arrangement for a console on a stair landing. I also love the idea of adding the cherry blossoms and am fact doing this myself, Lonny
This stunning vignette is a picture sent in by a reader who used my small blue and white ormolu box alongside other pretty blue and white and a pretty cherub statue
Displaying blue and whites on brackets is a wonderful way to show off your collection! Elle Decor

My own table set for a very small luncheon, I mixed the styles, sizes and shades of blue, and just added lots of beautiful spring flowers!

I also like seeing jars and blue and whites displayed  on a console in different shapes, and think a display plate on an easel is always a nice way to change things up

Love the way William Eubanks used an elegant pair of chunky ginger jars on a dining room console which I think always works beautifully

Shannon Bowers kept a theme going here, a grouping of different shapes and sizes but all with the Chinese letter motif

Rinfret chose a cluster of blue and whites for this elegant center hall table

Nancy Corzine chose to use a cluster of blue and whites on this center table in this beautiful room

Love the idea of various plates being used on this coffee table and a jar collection being displayed on brackets, Vogue

I love the way Leta Austin Foster used ginger jars in the upper portion of these gorgeous French doors and used a large plate as the top for a small end table

A perfect  way to show you the versatility of a beautiful tureen!

Absolutely love the garden seat and large ginger jars displayed as a beautiful arrangement on the floor paired near the sofa, HB

A console vignette in my own home……

Another favorite look, a big cluster of different shaped jars and containers of varying heights and colors…..very eye catching and makes for such an interesting vignette atop an armoire

The idea of three different shapes/colors on a center table is always very effective and so easy to do. J Tribble

Bunny Williams got it right when she decorated a mantle with a batch of handsome large scaled ginger jars, in varying patterns and shades of blue

Here is my own kitchen island, an example of mixing new and old. The big bowl is antique blue and white and the planters are from my online shop….yet they work beautifully together!

Fabulous collection of assorted shapes and sizes, love the idea of lamps too!

Love blue and white with a pop of color mixed in….so beautiful! Lonny

I always have lots of blue and white on my island…constantly mixing and matching

Adore this room. William Eubanks used a blue and white collection to perfection, different objects, from plates and small jars to large lidded ginger jars, and planters……they are used randomly through the room and the effect is spectacular!

Some of my own reflections on building a collection-

Start with a pair of good sized (18′ and up) chunky ginger jars. Ideally ones that have an antique finish.

Do not be afraid to change it up. One thing I am not a fan of is a cluster or collection of blue and whites where everything is the same color, shade variation, shape and/or style. Make it interesting and uniquely yours by changing up shapes, colors and depths of blues, styles and heights.

Do not focus on only ginger jars, add a big bowl,  a pair of candlesticks,  a pair of lamps, maybe a blue and white bracket, a pair of blue and white porcelain brackets

Do not think a tureen is only for a dining table! This actually is quite a versatile piece that can double as a planter as I used above. It is like a two for one!

A pair of blue and white Staffordshire dogs is a fun way to bring in animals without it being “cutesy”, they are actually very sophisticated

Anchoring a vignette with a chunky pair of ginger jars is a no brainer way to starting a great setup. Then you fill in, in the middle with various odds and ends, different shapes, colors and sizes

Ginger jars are also wonderful under a console table and atop a large armoire or perched on top  of kitchen cabinetry

Do not buy a piece ONLY because its on sale and a good deal (actually this applies to everything) buy it first and foremost because you love it!

Clusters are a very effective way to instantly creating an elegant vignette. Sometimes you get it right the first go around, other times you need to experiment several times, switch things out, don’t be afraid to play around until you absolutely love it!

I have helped many create blue and white vignettes as well as help others their own collection. Below are some great starting pieces….
.

And for a more transitional space, you could even take a more modern bookcase/curio cabinet and convert it to a virtual blue and white shrine!

And a recap on some of the many blue and white pieces in my own online store collection….click here to visit my porcelain shop online. Please note a price increase will be taking effect by this weekend on many but not all. (mostly ginger jars and decorative containers). My vendor(s) have raised their prices so I unfortunately need to as well, but its a moderate price increase.

Well if this doesn’t  have you dreaming in blue and white…don’t know what will! For blue and white lovers like myself, its a deliberate “affliction”  and I am rather relieved there’s no cure in sight! What are your thoughts and tips on collection blue and white? Do you? Have you used blue and white? Are you already a member of the BAWA club (come on you know….blue and white anonymous club)! Do tell……

And finally to launch your own blue and white collection, I am going to give away this beautiful blue and white flower vase/container. Perfect alone or filled with your favorite flowers, this is a beautiful way to start your own blue and white vignette. Just visit my online porcelains here and come back here to tell me your favorite blue and white piece, that’s it!

I will announce a lucky winner on Saturday! Good luck.

Wishing everyone a fabulous day!

This is Beautiful – AP 53 Breathtaking large porcelain blue and white scalloped scenic planter/footbath. Highly decorative and antiqued.

I love anything that has the double happiness symbol on it – just the thought of ‘double happiness’ does it for me. The very traditional pieces you have in your shop grab my attention – the ginger jar on the wood stand {sigh}, and the large ginger jars {AP 55} that are reverse with more white and dotted with blue.
Really it’s all divine.

Hi Tina, what a great thing to see first thing this morning. This is enough to make anyone want to redo their home with all blue and white! I love this post. Tina your own collections are simply gorgeous and yes, you do appear to be a real blue/white expert! From your store my favorite item is the AP54 ginger jars, I may be buying them to flank my living room mantle when we are done with it, its going through a major and much needed overhaul. Thank you for this incredible post that has so much inspiration. Your pieces are so beautiful, I can feel your passion.

What a fabulous giveaway! I feel like a child in a candy store looking at the choices, and momma’s saying, “But you can only have one!” I love the planters because they are so versatile and can easily be placed in different areas. The hexagon planter is tempting, but I have been daydreaming about the large planter AP13 for quite some time. Thank you Tina!
Joan

My favorite is the flat topped Ginger jar. I do not have any blue and white in my house but my favorite color is blue and I am going to be on the lookout for blue and white.

Thanks ~ Love your blog.

blondie from texas

Wow this is like the bible for blue and white decorating. Since reading your blog, I definitely like it more than ever and see new ways to use it!
My favorite is the ap55 the ginger jar, I want a pair for my dining room. Love the giveaway piece too.

I think you have displayed the blue and white theme perfectly in this post. Your luncheon and island photos are my favorites. I feel like you have that beautifully decorated, making a statement, but I feel comfortable and a bit spoiled here look.

I adore the blue and white trash basket….however, keeping with your thought that items don’t always have to be used for their intended purposes, I think I would use it as a planter, or a decorative piece…..
Thanks!

I am happy to share that my favorite piece is the large blue and white planter! I am proof that it never too late to start and blue and white collection. I have downsized to a townhome and have happily been starting a collection for my new “transitional” style – not too formal, not too casual. Your blue and whites are the best I have seen!!

Tina,
This is such a great post! The blue and white is just so clean and classic. I have so many favorites from your shop! The planter with ormolu trim, and the hexagon planter might be my favorites….. this week!!
~Cheryl

I’m such a fan and the grouped blue and whites are stunning. Especially love the round entry table with the collection!! Happy Wednesday ~

What a beautiful post and what a beautiful giveaway. I love everything blue and white, so I loved visiting your on line porcelains. My favorite of all is the b & w scenic planter/
footbath. Gorgeous! Thanks for the chance to win this lovely giveaway. laurie

Hi Tina,
Like you, I have a passion for blue and white porcelain and loved all the pictures you shared today. I had a hard time choosing just one piece from your shop since I would love to have all of them. But the big ginger jars won me over…AP 54 and 55 would look fabulous in my house!!!

I just love the whole collection but my favorite is the decorative boxwith brass accents

All of the pieces you offer are so wonderful, but my favorite is: AP 53 large porcelain blue and white scalloped scenic planter/footbath. It was hard to choose!

I LOVE the hexagon planter. I am going to order one soon.

You are such an inspiration. Thank you for your wonderful insights.

Hooray for blue and white! My favorites in your shop are the two scalloped planters (AP16 and 53). I love the wavy edge. It adds a nice texture especially with a flowering plant. Fingers crossed on the adorable vase. I know a beautiful orchid that would love living in it.

LOVE blue and white! Getting ready to start a huge home remodel and those are going to be our colors. Already purchased three ginger jars to start my collection! It was a tough decision but I think my favorite piece in your shop in the scalloped planter. Love it all though!

Wow so much to love~I loved the wallpaper or mural in that dining room (the chinoiserie one). And your breakfast table setting was amazing too Tina! You continue to inspire in such a dedicated way on this blog! Nice going!

Hi Tina, All your blue and white is what drew me to your lovely blog in the first place. Picking an absolute favorite piece would be impossible (I love them all), so I will tell you which ones I “need” first… the planter/footbath (I have a place for it already), the flat-topped ginger jars (all three) the large bowl (dining room table) and the vanity box (just for me!). Thank you for the wonderful post and the chance to win! Linda

Gosh – they are all so beautiful! I’d love to have anyone of them to start my collection. Thank you for sharing.

Susan

Great post today! Who doesn’t love blue and white? My fav is the large planter/footbath (AP53) with the blue fruit handles.

Your blue and white aficionado in Keswick,
Beth

Ohhh! This is hard! I love ALL of your blue and white collection! I think I really like #AP13 the best. It is a versatile piece, and would work anywhere!
Have a Blessed day!
Pam R.

AP 55 and AP 11……..Actually there are many others that I love also. The 2 platters that are on easels are so pretty but don’t see them in your shop.
I have blue and white envy which is incurable!
Great post!

I have a small blue and white collection also Tina and I have been drooling over all your pieces but especially love AP 39 or 47. Thank you so much for this give away, I look forward to reading your beautiful blog. jeanne

Alas! During one of our house moves we sold our blue and white collection to switch to red and white French style …. which we loved for awhile and then in another move sold to buy Bohemian style studio pottery. I miss the blue and white and this post is full of brilliant examples! Perhaps we could sneak just a few into our Bohemian collection ….. Minerva ~

You ARE an expert Tina and these tips and images are so helpful. The display on the stair case is such a great idea! A huge fan of blue and white myself, I can’t get enough.. love to mix and match. It really does look good anywhere doesn’t it?! Against dark woods or whites/neutrals. You just can’t go wrong. Your kitchen, vignettes, and table looks gorgeous. Beautiful post!

I always love your blue & white posts. My favorite item from your shop is the Large Planter Blue & White. I don’t have anything like it in my own collection. I’ve added that to my own “wish list”!

I love all the blue and white collections above. I always i decorate with three colors: blue, blue and blue with white trim! Have you considered add ing a few Danish Chritmas plates to your collection? We have one for every year that we have been married(over 30).

Marilyn

Everything is spectacular and its so hard to choose one thing. Today the blue and white sconce caught my eye and is really beautiful. Thank you for the opportunity to try to win a beautiful blue and white from your shop.
Linda O.

All fabulous Tina! Your kitchen island unit looks stunning with the blue and white display……..I have a few beautiful inherited blue and white pieces from my great grandparents in Sweden and your post is inspiring me to add to the collection! Thank you…..

Sophia

Right now AP 55 is my favorite jar but I don’t have any blue and white sconces so I am hoping they will stay available til I get get 2:):) You know I LOOOOOOVE blue and white and would love to add this vase to my collection!!! Thanks, Tina. XO, Pinky

My kitchen is blue & white so I LOVE all the pieces. I especially like the wall sconce & the candlesticks!!!…..Charlene

I’ve always admired your blue and white pieces on your kitchen island. They look perfect !! It’s hard to choose, but my favorite is AP 16, the scalloped planter. I can imagine my silk white tulips in it for spring!

I love all of the blue and white pieces in your online shop. If I had to choose one I would pick the hexagon planter because I love a blue and white container filled with flowers or a pretty plant.

I have just recently found your blog. I have truly enjoyed visiting each day and seeing all of the beautiful things you have chosen for your home. It has been a bright spot in my day.

I love the oversize round bowl! (AP 45) It would be nothing less then perfect on my dining room table.
Linda Hess

….am hyperventilating…..MUST CALM DOWN….it’s all just too much beauty and great decor ideas!!!!! It’s my free period at school and all I want to do is rush home and re-decorate……

Omg, Tina, what a breathtaking post today. Fabulous. I’m still salivating, if you’ll please excuse the expression.

Marilyn C

This is way too hard, I have been a blue & white fan for over 35 years. I also raise orchids which we all know look fabulous in any thing blue & whit. I particularly love the flower pots, large bowls, corbels & candlesticks- but would be thrilled with any of these beautiful objects. I love your dining room & kitchen arrangements. Being a florist for 27 years I’m not a big fan of symmetrical but in these case were done beautifully. Thank you for sharing. Kathryn D.

Absolutely beautiful post. I am in love with every one of your arrangements and are in fact an expert!! I love how you put your things together for your store too, I can see its a carefully put together collection.

I love every ginger jar especially the ap54, the size and the antique finish makes them look old and rare. Wonderful post.

I’m just getting started on my blue and white collection but already see a 12-step program in my future. my favorite (because i just ordered it) is AP 12 decorative box with brass accents. I also own the blue/white staffordshire dogs and love them. looking forward to purchasing more. linda ([email protected])

ohhhhh the shannon bowers image ANNNNNNNNNNNNNd that pic of your island. i may have smooched my screen. this is a beautifully composed post, tina that is going to stimulate the economy for sure. blue and white are the kind of best friends that enhance everything around them. for me, they bring a remembrance of the sea to a space. and clean, unmuddied elegance.

i crown you the duchess of blue-n-white.

love.

michele

I like the Ginger Jars, everyone of them. You have some wonderful things. This post is Grand for those of us who can not get enough blue & white. xxpeggybraswelldesign.com

You know I am a certified member of the BAWC!! This was like being in Disneyland!! Love love your displays with your flowers in your blue and white pieces, some of my favorites. Did you see Million Dollar Decorators when MM used blue and white pieces in the entry hall of the show house she was in? It was stunning!! So generous of you to have a giveaway on such a fun piece!! One of my favorites is your own personal large oval piece that holds flowers so my favorite in your shop is Ap54 and Ap53!
xo Kathysue
PS I did a Trend post today! I know those are one of your favorite post!!

I always keep a pot with fresh orchids in the house and have been in the lookout for a good planter. So, my current favorite blue and white item in your store is the hexagonal planter. Of course, I do love all the big ginger jars and wished I have the space for them.

Really enjoying this post. Need to get a cup of tea and read it. I love the blue & white candlesticks. I have never seen them before. Valerie

The little 7.5 x 7.5 x.7 covered vanity dish is so lovely. It would be perfect on my vanity and, for today, it is my favorite piece. Thanks for the opportunity to put my name in for the drawing.
Kristin

What beautiful pieces! Any one of them would be a great piece to start your blue and white collection with.
I just love the ginger jars and can’t wait to order some!

How to make a grown woman cry like a baby!!! This is just serious eye candy and agony at the same time. Seeing all those images, but makes my heart swell with love, and then I see all your stunning products. I wish you were nearby, then I would buy one of everything! Will you ship to Australia??? I love the planters, as I have had such trouble finding them here, so would love a large planter. But it’s all divine. Utterly divine. You are the queen of blue and white. Forget Carolyne!

The AP21 ginger jar is, I think, my favorite. It would go well with some blue and white that I have from my mother and grandmother. I absolutely agree with you, blue and white I love!
Judy Morano

Loooovvee them all! The large Ginger jar (45) I love. I also like the little dogs. I do have a question about your art work as well. Do you have any pictures of the hunting scene that you can post. I mean, examples of how they are used in a home? [email protected] Ann

Tina you can count me in as an official member of blue and white anonymous! My mother collected it all her life (and her mother who is from Holland had a beautiful transferware collection). I can’t get enough either and it fills almost every room in my home. It is the first thing people notice when they visit me and everyone loves it. It is so classic.
Love the way you have displayed yours in your gorgeous home too. And your store collection is really the best I have seen all in one place.
Right this minute I am coveting the AP55 jars, would love two for my front hall console. What a great post worth saving and revisiting for so many good ideas!

Great post Tina! So many fabulous vignettes! Love your large blue and white ginger jars-Think AP54 and AP55 are my favorites because their color reversal is a little more unusual!

AP54 is my choice and my daughter wants to start her own blue and white collection so your giveaway is a good start. Those pictures are so pretty, and timeless.

Well, being a certifiable blue and white porcelain addict! I believe I would start with a pair of your lamps. Need them for a new aged gold console in the study – it would be sublime! Thanks for your wonderful blog.
Karen

I have been honestly wanting to order AP 55 — the HUGE ginger jar with the white back ground, dog on top… that has to be my fave, although I love many of your gorgeous porcelain goodies! (of course, it’s SOLD OUT! great minds think alike 😉

Have been a blue and white collector for a few years… love all of it. One of my current favorites of yours is the large ginger jar (AP54). Would love to have
that one! Thanks for the give away opportunity.
Carol Ann Nelson

Hi Tina – great post. We collect blue and white becuae both of our mother’s had one piece each – a vase with dragons and a happiness ginger jar with lid – then we bought a small vase with lid and sitting man on top. Now we add a piece as we find them from Johnson Brothers blue willow plates to platters. Would love to add a planter like the one above or AP18 as part of a collection on top of our secretary.

Thanks!

Tina,
You do blue and white well. I like to look at it but I am not too much of a blue girl AND I am with you with the cherry blossoms…can’t wait for spring, I do a big vase on the DR table!

Those large planters on your dining room table are too gorgeous! I have tot check your site out and see if you carry those,, I love them!!
Blue and white forever!!!
xo Karolyn

Tina,
I’m not sure where to start! I love the huge round bowl, the tissue cover AND one of the ginger jars with birds on it. I have been collecting blue and white for over thirty years! We are in the midst of a huge remodel of our kitchen and I’ve been thinking of all the pretties I can use! Love your blues!

Hi Tina, I love the large antique ginger jar I am redecorating my home and it is all blue white and sone green!

Tina ….. FAB-U-LOUS!!!!! I adore blue and white! Love it and it is so timeless. The ginger jars are fantastic and I especially love your antique one on your island bench in the kitchen! I am like you in that I like to mix the antique pieces with new ones and it always works.. one thing I have been meaning to do is get more orchids and put them in the oval blue and white chinoise planters. I also just had a quick look at your silver .. do you ship to Australia? Have a great Thursday!

best wishes
Frances

It sounds like I need to get the blue and white out…:) Great vignettes and shots here Tina… there is something so welcoming and homey about blue and white porcelain… but then I do love chinoiserie in any form… 🙂 xv

This is a beautiful post, and I like the styling of every single image you’ve included. But apart from just mooning about how pretty it all looks, perhaps you can dwell a bit more about the origins of some of these vases and bowls. Such as how the “Chinese letter motif” is actually the characters “shuang xi” or “double happiness”, commonly used to symbolize a perfect union in marriage. Or how many of the pieces you show are lovely copies of Ming and Qing dynasty porcelains, some of which are very Chinese in tradition, while others were made for the European (and in particular, Dutch) market.

Color design is also an influence on the appearance of the design of the house itself as a portrait and represent characteristics of an owner, it was a tough decision but I think my favorite piece in your shop in the HUGE ginger jar with the white back ground, dog on top i like that jar.
Thanks,
More here

Hi Tina,
Everything is beautiful. I’m dying for the scalloped footbath as I have a perfect place for it, but my second choice is the lovely vase of your giveaway. Fingers crossed! Thanks so much,
Marla

Good morning Tina! The one photo with a more turquoise hue is my absolute favorite. Blue is certainly THE color for me when I want something to stand out again my mainly white/gray palate at home.

Have a great day dear Tina! Anita

AP 20 is a favorite, it reminds me of my mom. But then again, all blue and white reminds me of my mom.

I love the Decorative box with brass accents in your shop. Blue & White reminds me of my grandmother who had a decent blue & white plate collection. My mother has them now and they are displayed in her dining room.

I love all of your blue and white pieces. But I really love the blue and white footbath and have the perfect place in my home for it. Here’s hoping its my lucky day! Thanks for the giveaway.
Ann Bryan

Thanks for all the inspiration photos. I love blue & white porcelain — it’s so timeless. Definitely hard to choose which is my favorite from your shops, but I’m eyeing the AP54 planter. Thanks! Carol

I love the blue and white vanity box in your online store. I can see using it as you suggested with the q-tips and cotton balls. Our master bathroom is being renovated and once completed, I am definitely ordering some pieces from your shop. Thanks for the inspiration! Wendy G.

I am crazy for blue and white! I just wallpapered my powder room in Ralph Lauren’s Chinoiserie Garden and it looks fabulous. You have a gorgeous collection of blue and white pieces, but my favorites are the Blue Willow Vase w/stand and the Chinese Character Chunky Ginger Jar.

I love all of your blue and white pieces. I am crazy for blue and white. At my home I have some blue and white pieces. I would love to put all my plants in blue and white containers.
I love to read your blog. Your home is so chic, congratulations.

I am new to collecting blue and white but I have LOVED it all my life! I adore your blog and love your style. Thank you for sharing. If I have to choose a favorite piece, it would be the extra large ginger jar with lid (AP21). I am asking my husband for that one (hopefully two) for Christmas!

Hi Tina, excellent tips for “perfecting” a collection….thanks for sharing! I love the blue and white scalloped planter in your shop.

It looks like you are going to get your wished for snow! I am in Florida visiting my mother and am supposed to fly home tomorrow…not sure it will happen with the storm, though.

Stay warm!! xoxox

Tina, a beautiful collection of blue and white inspiration! One room is more beautiful than the next! I love them all!

I hope you have a beautiful snow day, be safe if you travel and enjoy it all soon summer will be here.

Elizabeth

Your blog and home are so pretty! I found you while looking for evidence that a white kitchen can indeed be matched with dark floors and a dark island–so thank you for the white kitchen post 🙂

The small ring vase AP44 is just perfect and I especially love the misty mountain scene of China. Dawn

AP 33 Tall elegant ginger jar is my favorite, I love its distinctive shape. It would definitely be a stand out piece even among a sea of blue and white porcelain.

Thank you for coming by Tina dear! My grandmother was a beauty to me, and I wish I would have known her. I hope you have a fabulous weekend and that the blizzard that is supposed to hit your area does not reach you!

Again, a happy post of BLUES! Anita

Hi Tina, Wonderful post. You know the saying, “You can never be too skinny or too rich” Well, I take that a step further with “you can never have too much blue and white”. I have purchased 2 of the pieces from your collection but have my eye on the scalloped planter. It is both whimsical and elegant and remains my favorite. Hope you survive the storm. Thanks. Marcie

I love the hexagonal planter and the flat top ginger jar. They are both beautiful! I started my collection with my first piece last weekend when I picked up a nice blue and white jar from Hobby Lobby! (Shhhh, don’t tell anyone!) Certainly not as beautiful as your pieces though! Thanks, Nancy

Hi Tina-love, love your posts on decorating in blue and white! The pieces in your store are all so fabulous, but my favorite is the decorative box with brass accents. I can envision this on top of a pile of books on my coffee table or on the bookshelf in my living room

Susan from CT

Whoops, left a comment
and then hit something
and it disappeared…..

Rather than reinvent the
wheel, I’ll just say this:
You have a very talented
knack for the blues, as
well as the ability to cull
a lot of sources and then
boil it down to help educate
your readers. I, for one,
am very grateful for that!!

I love the Blue and Cream
Staffordshire dogs. I have
not seen blue and white ones
before; very unique!!

Thank you for your sweet
heart.

xo Suzanne

AP37 gets.my vote. Have always loved the shape since you opened your store. I own quite a few of your pieces and love them all. I especially appreciate the professional way you conduct your business.
Nancy

I reall would love to have them all…but my favorite piece is AP13. I do not own any blue and white and I think AP13 would make the perfect in the center of my dinning table with an orchid. The vase above is beautiful as well and wouldnt mind it at all… pick me! pick me! lol

I really enjoyed this latest posting on blue and whites! The tall ginger jars are my favorite, but since I have over 15 orchids growing in my house a large blue and white bowl to cradle 2-4 orchids would be lovely on the dining room table.

Hi Tina, first I want to say I just love your blog. You have such wonderful style and your writing and wit are the icing on the cake. Am having such fun pouring over your pasts posts. About 1/4 done, I only discovered blogs about a year ago and yours is my favorite. I love blue and white too but not very good at knowing how and where to place it so this is a great post for a “blue and white novice” like myself.

Your things are so beautiful, my favorite is the ap54 large ginger jar vase, I think a pair would look so beautiful on my dining room console. Anyway would also love to win the flower vase and all of your blue and white settings are just incredible. I am wondering if you have considered a book? Have a nice weekend.

I love AP52 and AP 35. I am also in love with the celadon tray! May I say that you have exquisite taste in all that you share with us!

AP55 is calling my name….in fact, when I saw it, I tried to immediately buy it! Alas, it’s out of stock until March, so I’ll check back. Should I put in a pre-order request?
LOVE blue and white porcelain…I inherited some from my beloved Mother who passed away several months ago. I think of her when I see beautiful porcelains, like the ones you have in your impeccable shop…many thanks to you…and a few tears shed, as well.

[email protected]

AP 55 because it is very old fashioned looking and because “Blue & White is my signature colors” (reminds me of Steel Magnolias) and it would start my collection. There all quite beautiful though. Thanks, Pearl

Who could live without a touch of blue and white in their lives. I know I could not…love the candle holders in blue and white. Hope you and your family are safe and warm as this storm hits your area. News is quite alarming on the wide spread power outages. Prayers for all.

Bette

I too love Blue & White. I use it in my guest bath. You can see photo’s of this on my blog throughmyporchwindow.blogspot.com. It is in November I believe that I did a post on Blue & White and showed my bath. I want to find other ways so using it and your blog was a big help. Susan

AP55, the large ginger jars are beautiful. Of course, I am most fond of the box with ormolu top, which I already own. Thanks for using my vignette featuring that box in your lovely post. I feel honored.
XO, Victoria

i know i am a little late for saturday, but in case you havent picked a winner yet, AP55 would be my favorite…i have a small collection of blue and white but mostly for plantings inside the house…

I love blue and white, and recently started my own collection of it in my living and dining rooms. Love so many of your pieces, but the Chinese character chunky ginger jar is a favorite!
