Hello and happy Monday to you! And how was your weekend? Ours was fun, and quite relaxing. Dinner with friends, got to see the movie, Rush…which I have to say was quite good, that it was a true story made it even better.I am disappointed I listened to the weather “experts” and didn’t go to Vermont as planned, as it turned out so beautiful….bummer!

We have been having such beautiful weather lately…its slowly starting to get a little cooler every day and the foliage is just now starting to turn every so slightly. I am so loving my favorite time of year and seeing the tiny little glimpses of what is to come, nothing to me can beat the month of October.  I was out in the Hamptons recently and it was such fun being out there in the “off season”……of course I took my camera with me and thought it would be fun to share some of what I saw and enjoyed while out there, as well as a few “souvenirs”  that came home with me. I had fun adding small festive fall touches around the house and finished my outside urns too. So here we go…..

I think you are never too old to enjoy and marvel at a real life pumpkin patch….what do you think?

One of my favorite nurseries out east, I never visit without a stop here!

A beautiful vignette so alive with rich color…..love the way the white pumpkins set it off!

Thought this setup was so pretty and festive, love the white pumpkins, one came with me to join my pumpkin family:)

This beauty came home with me…the biggest chrysanthemum plant I have ever seen, it measures 36″ across!!!!!!!

And bought more baby cabbages….love these, they are so decorative!

Fresh orchid delivery at my favorite nursery

This enormous pumpkin was bought at auction and weighs over 450 lbs!!!

Freshly delivered pumpkins waiting to be displayed….

At every turn, there was something worth taking a picture of at one of my other favorite farm stands…

Pumpkins of every color and size…..

And the fresh veges were still in abundance……

Then onto a pumpkin farm……

This monster of a pumpkin weighed in at about 180 lbs!

This is typical for how my car looks when I am finally heading home, it is chock full with not a single inch to spare!

So back at home……

I filled my large dough bowl with a bunch of falls gifts and put it on my kitchen island…….

White pumpkins can be placed just about anywhere and look fabulous!

This orchid is on its way out (lasted a good 5 months) and have a beautiful new one to replace it with…on my agenda today!

And even tiny little touches in a powder room….

And put the finishing touches on my outdoor urns….understated but elegant

You cannot fully appreciate just how huge this chrysanthemum   is but its a whopping 37″ inches across! See it doesn’t take much to excite me:)

Put by the front side door in a large planter
By the way…confession, some of those pumpkins on my doorstep are not real. I mix in the old with the new, when mixed in you really cannot tell and I love being able to reuse them every year! Thanks for stopping in and wishing you a wonderful day and start to your week!

What a fabulous nursery! All those wonderful pictures brought fall right to my doorstep, Tina!

Loved the big mum and the enormous pumpkin – 450 pounds, wow!

Adding all the extra ‘fall’ touches at home add to an already beautiful home.
You really have an eye for making something beautiful ‘homey’ as well. I can’t wait to see what you do for Thanksgiving and Christmas!

Tina- this is a beautiful post. I bet being in the Hamptons when the summer crowds have gone was a treat. What a beautiful nursery! I love every one of your beautiful touches, the dough bowl is spectacular and the front door is breathtaking. I love how its so elegant but still feels really happy and festive. You have such a great eye for all things beautiful.

What a perfect fall day, Tina. I love the photos you captured and all of the beauty you brought home. Those chrysanthemums are unbelievable. Your home looks so pretty and festive. Happy Monday!
PS – Looking for some blue and white to send your way! XO

I love all your hampton photos. Fall is a spectacular time of year for eye candy and the Hamptons are always a special treat.
Your decorations are wonderful. Enjoy the season.

I am going to copy your front door urns. I love them! How smart to mix fresh and fake pumpkins…never would have thought to do that. See, I learn something every time I visit.
The Hamptons looks like such a fun day trip. Love the looks of that beautiful nursery. Thanks for taking us there-

PS LOVE the dough bowl, do you mind if I ask how large it is? It looks very big to hold so much, it came out great.

Tina, I thought I liked your house best at Christmas, then it was summer, and now it’s fall! Your succulent arrangement is amazing, and the entryway to die for! Everything is just perfect, as always!!

I love these white pumpkins… I am on the look out… and your decorations are really looking festive, Tina… as for that chrysanthemum… it’s enormous, I haven’t seen one as big or as full as that…
Gorgeous… I do love the way you change things up for the seasons in the States… I wish we did more of that in Europe… xv

Tina your house looks so elegantly festive. I get such great ideas from you including mixing fake pumpkins (which I have) with real…so clever! I love the pictures from the Hamptons too, all so beautiful. What a fun time of year to visit.

On a sidenote got my wrap today, and I absolutely love it…even prettier in person!

What a beautiful, bountiful harvest you have had in the Hamptons this Fall!!
God’s graciousness lavished on us in gifts of living color!
And how beautifully you have arranged and sweetly shared them with us.
Thank you πŸ™‚

This is one beautiful bunch of loveliness to get the week off to a gorgeous start, wow. This is going to sound so weird (but you already know I can be kind of weird), amongst the stunning flowers and and all of the colorful fall treasures I obsessed on the green beans, how strange is that?! The pumpkin patch looked fab, they are such fun places, and the house looks beyond beautiful Tina.

Sending you a smile,
tp

Dear, dear Tina! I must have left for work after you posted this morning! WHITE PUMPKINS are everywhere in my house. I love that you took yours to the bathroom as well! And your arrangements in the wooden bowls in your kitchen are sensational; they really spell out the season. THE HAMPTONS ARE GORGEOUS! These are the best photos I’ve seen of fall displays. You captured such vivid colors!

Enjoy it all my friend. Love this season! Anita

Oh! The pumpkin patch is a sight! I can recall the first time I ever saw one! My heart beat like a drum! Then I was allowed to choose one to bring home! So magical!
I think I will steal your idea with the dough bowl. I love the look of the cabbage with the white pumpkins. Hope you don’t mind!?
Thanks for stopping by to give advice on the painting and wings. You have such exquisite taste…I am honored.

I have never seen a true pumpkin patch! Guess I should’ve helped chaperone that field trip when my kids were little! Wow! Now I”m feeling sad! Anyway, your pics are incredible…LOVE your favorite nursery! All we’ve been doing today is planting for fall! My daughter is coming home this weekend and I want it to be inviting…a reminder of what home is!

I adore a pumpkin patch and never pass one without reminiscing….love all of your decorating and the urns look amazing with the cabbages tucked in!! So hoping you can squeeze in NYC on Thursday…we would LOVE to meet you in person!!

Tina,

One of my favorite things to do in Fall is to visit the nursery and the pumpkin patches. They always have to many great ideas.

Your front entrance looks beautiful! Love all of the pumpkins and flowers.

Have a great week!

Better late than never! I’ve been going since 5:30 a.m. and worked late.. I’m pooped! It’s a good thing I don’t work full time anymore……..

Tina, your pumpkin patch is so much fun:) There are so many options these days with regards to color, size and shape. The mini pumpkins and little boos are so cute scattered about in your home. My favorite is the dough bowl filled with a variety of fall items. I wanted to do this but I’ve had a lot on my plate recently and just haven’t done it. I’ll be doing something for the holidays so I will send you a pick when I get to it. Your front area looks very festive:)

Happy Monday!

Oh this is so glorious – I wish we did decorating like this in Australia, but we just don’t. I love the colours and the abundance of the decorating around the Hamptons and your home as ever looks magnificent.

Hi Tina,
So Autumn Beautiful! I love what you have created and yesterday Isabella and I went to Trader Joe’s for white Pumpkins!
True Story….one year I too mixed artificial, very good looking pumpkins on the porch. One windy day I left to run errands and there were my pumpkins rolling down the street! Ha! I think the artificial need to be anchored behind real ones! (you probably figured that out though!
