Hello and Happy Sunday to you. Over here, its another freeeeeezing day. This is the kind of biting cold that honestly makes you want to stay inside in your pjs, hop into your bed and not leave until March. It is bitter, gray and incredibly uninviting. It is quite something that so much of our country is experiencing this extreme cold. I say please bring on an early spring!!

Good day for the movies…we may head out to one later on. Seen anything good lately? We saw Twelve Years a slave and I must say it was excellent. I have heard rave reviews over Lone Survivor, it looks intense but incredible and to know it’s a true story makes it that more compelling. Any other recommendations?

I really appreciate the over 200 bloggers that participated in my blogger poll. The results were so interesting and I know many of you are eager to see them. The results are below, wondering if there were any surprises to you?

I am also sharing some beautiful (and a few mouth watering) images from my Pinterest boards, random things of beauty and/or inspiration that caught my attention this week. If you want to see more click here.

Some interesting findings, don’t you think? Did anything here surprise you? For me it might be that the majority visit blogs but do not comment. I find less time to comment than I used to but I still do my best to leave a comment (when inspired) at all my “usual stops”. Looks like most of you think blogging is changing in part due to Pinterest and other sites, don’t know if that’s good or bad yet?

The good news for newer bloggers is that the majority of us will seek out new blogs and are always looking for the next best thing…that could be YOU!  And interesting that the majority of us look over other peoples comments, I do on occasion but not regularly. This was fun and enlightening.  Many thanks again for participating!!

Now lets turn off our brains and just enjoy some pretty inspirations, shall we?

Anytime you end with pictures of darling children its always sure to put a smile on my face! Hope you enjoyed this random inspiration….if you want to see more of my Pinterest boards click here.

Good morning Tina! The results of your poll are very interesting indeed! I have literally heard from others that they have quit blogging because Facebook is quicker, easier to stay connected and not as time consuming as blogging. It saddened me, but the wonderful thing about blogging is that it’s like anything else…you learn to adjust to the changes. I stay with blogging because the format is easier to lay out a body of text, add music and photos. That’s what I love. But most of all, it’s the connections. I have made several important connections with a handful of people that truly are friendships, and ya just can’t beat that!

LOVE those Pinterest goodies! My favorite one is the two little African boys….ADORABLE!

Enjoy your Sunday even though it’s another killer-diller-chiller day! Anita

Tina- great poll and really revealing results. I was surprised that most visit blogs but don’t comment. I guess its time consuming. And that most read over others comments before leaving their own, that surprised me the most! I think this was a really good idea to get inside the minds of bloggers.
I love all your Pintesret pictures, so much to take in. Kids always get to me too but then so do beautiful interiors and there are many up there that almost made my heart stop. Hope you have a fun movie day. Saw Lone Survivor and it was amazing but bring an extra box of tissues.

Great poll and interesting results! I always leave comments at my usual stops as well, You my dear being one of them and I’ve made nice connections doing so. People ask me all the time how do you get people to read your blog and I tell them you need to read other people’s blogs and comment on them. Very important! Now I really need to leave more comments and practice what I preach, but I will never not leave a comment on one of your posts! that would be a sin to ME! Love visiting here for my daily dose of blog friendship and beautiful images! You are a true gem in the blog world! Have a beautiful Sunday!

I was in the minority on every single poll answer, but it didn’t really surprise me – I expected to be that way! I love this post – the images of the little babies kissing stole my heart πŸ™‚

Tina fascinating finds. I am not a blogger but have often thought about staring one to highlight my loves, photography and baking. I just have no idea where to even begin so this was interesting. Seems like a passionate group. I really enjoyed your beautiful pictures, what a magnificent collection. I wanted to pin every single one! The kids always make me want another one:-)

Tina, I feel so fortunate to have met so many wonderful people around the world through my blog!
Thank you for bringing us these beautiful images this Sunday morning!

As a brand new blogger, 2 months now, I was fascinated by your survey. I am really enjoying blogging and look forward to all the great things I hope it will bring my way as I forge ahead. Thank you!

Beautiful pictures, so much to ogle over!

Tina for movies do not waste a dime on Wolf of Wall Street, total garbage. We walked out. I did love Philomena and agree Twelve Years a Slave was excellent. Also saw Lone Survivor and cannot recommend it enough and last August of Osage County even though the cast is top notch was to me, too depressing and dysfunctional to really enjoy. Just my opinion of course, its been below zero here so we also have been seeing a lot of movies! Enjoyed this post.

Betty from Canada. These pictures today lifted my heart. Even made me feel warm. Temp here in Ontario is -21 this morning.Brrrrr.

Such a wonderful post to start my Sunday morning Tina! I like the variety of photos your posted and I think I’ll pin a couple. That bundled up baby is just darling.. and I need to make that gooey chocolate square dessert!! Enjoy your day!

So funny you took the words right out of my mouth the photos of the children immediately make me smile! I agree I was surprised at how many visit a blog and dont comment, i really try my best to let the blogger know I am interested in the post by giving a comment. Love all the inspiration here!! Join me today for rethinking pink, Karolyn

I enjoyed seeing the survey results and finding out what other bloggers are thinking. The pictures were all beautiful – I just love Pinterest!
Thanks for a great post!

Oh, I do miss those days of “little girls dressed in pink snowsuits!!” Thanks for the “pick-me-upper!” franki

I have been looking forward to the results of your poll! Very interesting. I find it particularly interesting how much revenue some bloggers are making off of their blog.

Hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend, stay warm!

Such a beautiful post; darling children. We recently saw “American Hustle” and loved it, great movie — Jennifer Lawrence is such a great actress and a complete delight. Ditto Amy Adams. Last night we watched “Blue Jasmine” — again. Loved it in the theatre, loved it just as much the second time. Perhaps more. Marilyn in Mt. Vernon, VA

Happy Sunday to you, Tina!
I love the pictures you chose. Coming here to your blog is a visual vacation for me, and makes my soul feel good. Beauty is wonderful:)

Another snowy day is made all the warmer and happier for taking the path down to your Enchanted Home, Tina. It is all quite new to me but I would so love to have a blog one day… Just adore your quote and picture of the lovely doggy…and for entertainment, well that would have to be the Grammys!! hopefully for Justin Timberlake ….. have a happy Sunday

Tina I love Pinterest! I also adore all these pictures, that little girl in the pink snowsuit reminds me of my daughter when she was around one and the little kids kissing each other makes me want to cry happy tears!

Loved every single picture, hope you get to see a good movie. Lone Survivor was awesome as was American Hustle. Stay warm!

Very interesting that the majority of blog readers do not leave comments, and yet we Bloggers love to receive them so much! Only 9 percent of respondents said comments are “not that important, they are a minor part of why I blog”… I always try my best to leave thoughtful comments on the blogs I follow, and this is a nice reminder of the importance. πŸ™‚

XOXO,
The Glam Pad

Really liked looking over the results. I was surprised to see that 77% have been blogging for a year or more, but when it comes to revenues from advertising 65% report making less than 10K. I would have thought that revenue figure to be much higher. One anonymous blogger didnt care much for the comments I left the day you polled your readers. It reminded me that often times readers look far deeper into what we are saying than is intended. I dont disagree with anything they said, but rather I should have explained better my opinions. Anyone who blogs knows we will never make all readers happy all of the time. I know the poll is over, but to new bloggers; If you are having fun then your blog is, and will continue to be, successful. Thanks again for sharing what you learned from the poll Tina. – Tonya
