So what you are up today? My sister and family are coming through today for an overnight visit after being in Maine for a number of weeks,? we are looking forward to spending some time together as they pass through en route? back home. I have a super busy week ahead, between it being my sons last week before the big college sendoff and a number of other things happening, its guaranteed to be a chock full week. And of course the big news is the sneak peek of my beautiful new tole line, in case you missed it, click here. It is not officially for sale but is about to be, hopefully later today.

I am extremely excited about launching my online shop directly linked to my blog which is due to happen hopefully LATER TODAY!!! It is? being worked on as we speak so hopefully by days end the new site will be up and the tole will be officially for sale as many of you have asked about the? debut of the tole line.….I will try and get some kind of notice out to announce when? the shop is live and officially up.

In the meantime, I so love the pieces and naturally have to keep a small stash for myself.? I? had fun “playing” with some orchids and my new planters over the weekend, look how beautiful they came out. Had to share. Plus a few other things going on around here I wanted to share.

Switching gears…… as I expand my shop online I am always on the lookout for uusual or very special unique finds that appeal to my personal style or aesthetic. I? have always had a? “thing” for beautiful estate jewelry. It is so elegant with its fine attention to detail, to me it is so supremely elegant and refined. I recently was introduced to someone who manufacturers some of the most exquisite pieces using semi precious stones, really special pieces that don’t break the bank.

I am seriously thinking of carrying the line. I think to “test” it out I may carry some pieces for a current promotion and see how they do. The price point would be very generously discounted with earrings ranging from $100-205 (they retail from about $140-375). They are exquisite, really really unique and sold in many super high end stores, they also does a lot of private label for BIG names. Take a peek at the first the earrings I brought home for me and some of the other beautiful pieces……

I cannot believe how even the most innocuous things sets me off…please tell me it gets better! This blog and my online shop are an even bigger blessing than I could have possibly imagined!

I will? only be posting once or twice this week as I have a very full week, and plan on spending? a lot of? quality time with my son as we gear up for his big send off this weekend. I know anyone who has done this before can relate and anyone who has young kids can only imagine……so many thanks for stopping in and for your friendship and support! Such beautiful items! I love how you used the large containers for your trees. The jewelry is just gorgeous it looks like the real thing. Big fan of emeralds. — It is a very scary time for you having a son go away from home. I have been there twice and survived. Now my children are both adults they have a great career, wonderful marriage and most of all a grand child for us. Time goes on and there are so many wonderful things going to happen.

Tina you have outdone yourself with how you displayed the tole. MAGNIFICENT! You have given me great ideas here…and I am waiting with my credit card for when it goes on sale.
The jewelry is gorgeous. YES! I hope you will carry it and the blue and white new kids are beautiful as well, that first piece is a beauty. You really do have an eye for the most divine goodies.
Best of luck with your sons send off, celebrate as you have done a great job that you can send him off to college, that proves that you have more than done what you were supposed to do and I have no doubt that you have raised a wonderful young man who is ready to go out and spread his wings. Best of luck to him!

Tina, I absolutely adore the estate jewelry as I have a few real pieces from my marriage; however gorgeous these are and I would love to buy some of them, they are too expensive for my budget.

Tina:
It definitely does get better?allow yourself the tears & think of them as prayers of gratitude?
xo

Tina several things to comment on as I have been away on vacation so am out of the loop-
LOVE the new blog look- SO great looking and fresh and so “you”.
Adore the new tole and cannot wait to place my order, I know exactly what I want, and am ready!

The blue and whites are beautiful and you are the queen!

OK that jewelry is a must have. Great price points to. They look like something that came out of the vault, heck yea! Please do get it. I think you will sell out right away. I am a sucker for beautiful unique pieces (most women are) and I think when the price point is good (a few hundred dollars is always good) then you don’t have to think about it. I love your blog, and this is another reason why, you are always adding such good things.

Best of luck to your son. Exciting time for him. I am not quite there but I can imagine its a mixed bag of emotions for you, try to focus on all the good and happiness this time represents, as it really is such a time of growth and celebration.

The tole and flowers are amazing- you have officially inspired me! I look forward to their release.

The jewelry is also really beautiful.

Congratulations to the lucky winner. Best of luck to your son. You have given him the wings to fly and that is what he is doing- it is a time of joy.

The blog re-design looks fantastic Tina ..love it! .. as well as all of your new store items. The Tole filled with flowers is so pretty and I’m sure the jewelry will be a nice addition. Sounds like a busy week ahead for you and I totally understand where you’re at with all the emotional ups and downs. A new chapter is beginning and just taking a deep breath and embracing the change is the only advice I can give:) In the meantime, it’s still the weekend and I hope you have fun today! (love the site!!)

So many things to say here. First, the most resonant thing to me is the big college send off, because my daughter literally just left 1/2 hour ago. It’s her senior year and I still get weepy! But I can assure you, as soon as they leave you’re fine… 🙂 The first year it takes maybe a few days until you’re certain they’ve “found their place” and then you can relax. And while the house is really quiet, it’s also really clean! So good luck to your son!! Second, I’m already noticing some design changes on your page and it looks really clean and congruent with your aesthetic. Nice job. I assume the logo will be larger and centered once it’s done? I really like the one you selected. Also, great arranging with the tole! Are your flowers silks? I love the way the hydrangea and roses look in the blue and white tole. You have such a wonderful sense of style. And finally, love the jewelry, especially the rings!!

WOW…loving the new Tole line and latest Blue and whites. You really do have fabulous taste in decorating! Also saw some pieces of jewelry that I wouldn’t mind having:-) You have obviously done a great job as a mother:-) I have two girls and sent them off to college within a span of two years! It takes getting used to, but your sons will eventually bring you some “daughters” and hopefully grandchildren to spoil one day!
Carol

OH MY!!! OH MY!!!! I am so excited I can barely stand it!! I have purchased from your shop and am SOOOOO EXCITED TO be one of your winners. THANK TINA!!!!

Tina I know you have to be sad about your son leaving but think of it this way- it means you have done your job as his mother and guide through life to take him from young man to full fledged adult to get to this next very important stage of life and what a lucky young man he is! So celebrate this milestone with him and cook his favorite meals when he comes home and shower him with all of his favorite things that make coming home “home”. I do this for my two that are away in college and its my secret thrill to pamper them a little, OK a lot.
LOVE the tole and floral arrangements, just beautiful, Gorgeous new porcelains too. And yes to the jewelry if you are looking for opinions, they are to die for. I would so support that endeavor! You have wonderful style. Good luck as you get through this week.

A very happy Sunday to you too! Missed your posts while being away… there is so much to catch up on. Love your latest offerings, and congratulations on your beautiful new shop!

Please carry the jewelry! Love those earrings in first pic and the bangles look equally as pretty.

Dear Tina,

Soak each and every moment of your son’s last week at home. Make his favorite foods, sit and talk or talk and pack. It’s a heart breaker, however, each time you seem him, as you move forward, will be wonderful. Time marches on, and so will you. Think of the full time devotion you can apply to your shop!

Enjoy, laugh, (you will cry) and send him off in royal fashion.

Take care,

CathyR

Really love the new blue and white pieces. Just beautiful. I love tole without the painted characters and these pieces are just lovely. Looking forward to seeing it in my home.

Happy Sunday, Tina! I just got back from a long trip with my husband westward, where he spoke at a church. I’m so proud of him; he is a great speaker, highly articulate and MY HUSBAND! It’s raining here too.

I wish you a wonderful visit with your son before you send him off. I can’t imagine what it’s like since I don’t have kids, but all I can liken it to is how every last day of school when I taught fourth grade, when those kids got on the bus and they were leaving my grade level, I’d cry. Your situation is 1,000,000 times more intense!

Those earrings are gorgeous. I think you’re doing great and will expand your wares and really have such a wonderful collection from home ware to personal accessories as jewelry! HUGS, TINA! Anita

Tina… I’m back and I have missed reading your posts. I am starting with this one and will back track. The tole line is positively gorgeous. Can’t wait to see your new shop. Enjoy every minute of this upcoming week with your sister and son before he leaves for college. xxoo

LOVE the new look, Tina! And, love your “playtime with tole” photos – you should sell them WITH the flowers! You are on my mind a lot lately knowing that school drop off is coming up. Call me if you just need to talk…I am around!
Hope you had a great weekend! xoxo

Tina, I have sent to college 3 sons as well as a daughter,it is hard but……you will get use to it and I am sure your son will keep in touch with his Mom.
Love your Blue and White and will look forward to them being available for sale.
Love the jewelry – will look forward to seeing the choices.
Have a wonderful week with your son.

the blog looks amazing, tina! so happy to find a moment to visit and sigh over your latest wares and whims. our college guy is back on campus so i am feelin a little bit of the lonelies even though his big brother is still around gearing up to student teach at high school…can you imagine this dashing young handsome blonde lecturing in front of a class of honors english upperclasswomen? should be interesting. i am off to the desert in a few days and hope to catch up on yer site! love to you.

You’ve given your son his “roots” . Now it’s time for his “wings”. Always the hardest part for a loving Mom- but believe me, it brings its own rewards! Thanks for the lovely blog. I have a huge collection of blue and white myself!

Tina, I hope you enjoy every moment of quality time with your son, and the visit of your sister and family! Such a special time.

So excited to hear about the developments with your shop! All the blue and white! I just love it!

Have a beautiful week! XOXO

The tole is sensational…and love what you did with it. You should market it that way Tina so many people have such a problem knowing how to arrange these things, it comes so natural for you! I love it.
The jewerly, blue and white, love it all……
As far as your son, please give him a great big hug tell him how much you love him how proud of him you are that he has achieved what he has and that he is headed off to the best four years of his life and welcome him with open arms when he comes home for his breaks. Its hard to say goodbye to their childhood because we want them to stay young forever but the best gift you gave him is the power to stand on his own two feet to walk away and do just what he is about to do. This is a time of major celebration so crack open a bottle of your favorite wine or champagne and rejoice! You will be fine Tina, you have so much happening, many good and exciting things……and he will always be there for his mom! I promise…thy really DO come back.
