Hi there! Raining, dark and dreary over here but better than snow so no complaints whatsoever.? Busy day ahead, wish I could stay home in my pjs all day……sounds dreamy!

What would I do without my iPhone? I think I could seriously do without the talking on it but could never EVER imagine not having it to take pictures!! Afterall, it lets you save and freeze special moments, beautiful things, savory tidbits or memories you want to keep alive.

I know I am attached to my iPhone mostly for the camera if I am to be totally honest here:) OK, OK and talking/stalking my kids…and I know I am not alone:) So as I occasionally do here is a look at my week as seen through my iPhone.

I only realized I had a lot to share when I couldn’t take any more pictures and realized, oh yea…..I have like 3764 pictures!! Time to “clean house”. So here is a look at my week as seen through my nifty little iPhone……

Went to a dinner party and made this pretty springy basket of pretty soft colored flowers and added my darling LB Originals name tag, love those things!

And really loving these gorgeous painted French nightstands, painted beige with a navy trim, aren’t these great! I am thinking of them for my sons “new room”

Working with someone on her kitchen/breakfast room and a bedroom and coming up with such pretty fabrics, I am truly like a kid in a candy shop, one of my favorite “hobbies”!

I’m obsessed with the basket of flowers – such a gorgeous gift, love your napkins, and wow your “lower level”?so happy for another peek!! Enjoy your weekend ~

Just love the color choice samples! drool…

Your pictures make the difference on your blog. A visual candy! Never stop your prolific photographic essays. Makes my eyes larger, my heart happy and my day brighter.

The flower basket, linen napkins, luncheon table set up, all fabulous. I too, am drooling over the fabric samples. LOVE!

The lower level? How stunning is it? Beyond gorgeous! Thank you for sharing Tina.

Tina……your fabric selections are just gorgeous and your lower level is coming along nicely. You must be so excited to see it come together! Sounds like you had a nice lunch and I must try the salad .. not a big fan of brussel sprouts so I need to sneak them in here and there. Lucky recipient of the flower basket .. it is so pretty!

Tulips, fresh fruit, baskets and silver all breathe the promise of Spring, life! Your lovely pix make my day. Oh, by the way, I made the lemon chicken picata and the lemon cheesecake and they were to die for!! Both were easy to make and tasted like something from an upscale restaurant. I have tried nearly all the recipes you post and they are all exceptional, Tina, truly.
Do I see a recipe book coming together of all your favorites?

You are so wonderful to share all you do. I honestly appreciate it as it must be, although a labor of love, tremendous effort.

Love to you, always!

I just love how you wrap your presents. Anyone would be thrilled to get one as a gift. And it looks almost too good to open. Your lunch sounds wonderful and I just adore the pictures you take! Keep them coming, because it’s so fun to see all the things you are up to, Tina. I feel like I live next door to you and am a part of your life. I love your blog so much?voted for you too! Hope you win. Have a great weekend and may warm weather and sunny skies be heading your way very soon!

“Friday Pleasures” … Coming home from work and seeing these lovely photos !
Where was the rug purchased ? It would be perfect for my bedroom !
As always , enjoy your posts!

Tina,
Jeanne and I thought of you many times and would say things like, “That’s so Tina” and “Who does that remind you of?” Brought back tons of inspiration and now getting laundry done and packing for LA for Spring Break. We thought our daughter needed a dose of Hollywood!
Love all your random bits and lovely things! That lower level is looking swell. I want to move right in!

Tina,
You mentioned your were polishing silver. I think we all agree it is a huge chore. Of, course most of us probably store our flatware in some sort of silver chest lined with Pacific Cloth, which works fairly well for that, but not perfectly. The Holloware pieces: trays, bowls, chafing dishes etc… are another story. If a person has a corner cupboard or other type of enclosed cabinet in which to store those larger pieces, the silver can stay untarnished forever with a simple trick which my mother shared with me years ago.

Ask your Pharmacist to order a pound box of Humco Refined Gum Camphor blocks ( costs about $40 ). It contains little cellophane blocks individually wrapped, each about the size of a square ice cube. Once you have those in hand, polish everything to perfection, wash in hot soapy water, rinse in the hottest water possible and dry thoroughly. Arrange pieces in your enclosed cabinet or cupboard. Unwrap 1 or 2 small blocks, depending on the size of the cabinet, and place in a discreet location on a small piece of aluminum foil. Keep the cabinet doors closed for the most part. You can occasionally open and close the doors to retrieve pieces without affecting the outcome. Check every 2 to 3 months and replace block or blocks as needed ( they will evaporate over time ). When you open the doors, it will smell like a jar of Vick’s Vaporub, but your silver will be polished, pristine and ready to use without a trace of tarnish! Works like magic!!!

Excellent blog you have here but I was wanting to know if you knew of any community forums that cover the
same topics talked about in this article?

I’d really love to be a part of group where I can get advice from other knowledgeable individuals that share the same interest.
If you have any suggestions, please let me know. Bless you!
