Bonkers over belljars!

Hi there, hope you are having a wonderful weekend.? Well its obvious that I love belljar lighting. Besides the fact that I sell them, have them in my own home, I have also used them for different design jobs that I have worked on and find them to be some of the most versatile lighting out there. They are classically beautiful and with the different designs, they can lean more towards very traditional all the way to more modern. I love them!

As I am starting to wrap up some lighting decisions in my own home (a number of areas that still do not have lighting), I had a “aha” moment and realized that the perfect solution was under my nose the entire time! The belljars of course. So, several are en route to me as we speak and I can hardly wait!

I particularly love my line (yes I am partial) as they are done with beautiful hand etched detailing…very special plus the heavy discount makes them even prettier:) So today a look at gorgeous belljars and all their many possibilities. How about you? Own any? Would like to? Putting this post together has me wanting to put belljars in every room! Take a look and see what you think….

Good morning……hope all is well. I must say I am not making much of an effort to get to Target as I am not hearing such great things about this highly touted Calypso line, so when I get there,I get there, but it sounds underwhelming at best. Anyone like it out there? I am going to be taking some pictures at the house today, bathrooms are moving along fast and furious so there with will plenty of bathroom pics, and beams are being chopped and antiqued which is kind of fascinating to watch so will get that too. Stairs is being installed and I must say its coming along beautifully, everyone on the site is amazed at the staircase, its like a work of art, they are amazed at the curve and the workmanship. A penchant for pendants

Good morning….about the house update. We are nearly completely sheet rocked so the fun has just begun. Trimwork started yesterday and the bathrooms are underway…finally getting to the stage where we get to look at the pretty things! I have had enough of raw wood, sawdust, and unfinished spaces to last me a lifetime, its time to button this baby up! I took pictures yesterday and will post them on my post tomorrow.

Show me a room that has a pendant lighting that isn’t beautiful. I love them…… they add elegance, soft lighting and a certain sense of proportion to a room. Used everywhere from foyers, to bathrooms and kitchens, you see them in outdoor spaces too. I love pendant lighting for their versatility. In my old house, I had them in my hallway, my foyer, above the staircase and in my breakfast room. I plan to use them once again in abundance in the new house. So today I showcase all the many wonderful ways to use this wonderful lighting. I am contemplating what kind of lighting to use over my center island in the kitchen since logically speaking, this will be and has to be one of the first rooms to complete. I like the idea of a belljar pendant or a large lantern type pendant. The best part? So many manufacturers make them, that they are very affordable and can be had inexpensively…..you don’t need to spend a fortune to get the look, that’s always a big perk! What do you think?

(I am also announcing an amazing giveaway on Friday…stay tuned)
