Happy Friday! We are off to a huge lacrosse tournament in Maryland and will return on Sunday hopefully in time to make it to a BBQ- Hope you have some fun plans for the weekend! ?I first discovered Sandra’s work because someone I know used her firm to decorate her magnificent home. I was most impressed with?the cohesive but incredibly elegant decor throughout her large but very inviting home. It was undoubtedly very sophisticated but felt “homey” to me which I believe is an important hallmark for any designer designing a home for a family in particular.?

This is afterrall a place where a family has to live day to day, not a museum to house beautiful objects to admire from afar. After looking at her very impressive body of work, Sandra has clearly demonstrated her incredible knack and talent for very sophisticated interiors and not just traditional ones though those are my personal favorites. Her talent ?takes her all over the globe but most of her work is done here in the U.S. I think her incredible work speaks for itself, so let me show you what this amazing designer can do! Could you possibly pick a favorite room? It would be hard for me, but there are a few standouts to me, loving that chinoiserie gray/blue room and love this first image, but its too hard to pick a favorite. How about you?

This is a beautiful space, love the scale but its still remarkably cozy

Very elegant foyer, always like the use of antique mirror

Now THIS is what I call a wine cellar!
That paper…dreamy!!

Fabulous apartment high in the sky…a real showstopper!

This is a bedroom that would be hard to leave!

Love how quietly elegant this bathroom is

Always a sucker for banquette seating

Such an elegant bathroom

Love everything about this fabulous room
This space is incredible, love that window!
So what do you think? Can you see why I am such a fan? Her interiors are uber elegant and so beautiful, but they are at the same time, rooms I can see myself living in, not museum like spaces that are meant for looking but not touching and enjoying. I think she is one talented lady and I for one, am a big fan of her firms work. Do you have a favorite room? All of the bathrooms are heavenly!?Have a wonderful day!

Bonjour ma belle!

Well, what can I say but that each room speaks to ME!!! Our new family room and office are making me feel like a queen, although of a much smaller scale…all we are waiting for now is the installation of the exposed beams, but really, it is now done. I LOVE MY NEW SPACES and for just the two of us, it is simply a cottage on the ground, but a castle in the sky…..dream on, build on and show us your new home!!!! Anita

How is it I never heard of her? Her work is astounding!!!!!
Too many gorgeous rooms to ever pick just one but
that first room is pretty over the top and done in my
favorite colors. Such talent-sigh!!!!!!

I love Sandra Nunnerly’s design style…
elegant and oh so fabulous ♥

I remember featuring one of her bedrooms on one of my design blogs. Thanks for those fabulous room pics.

Have a lovely weekend ♥

This is a designer who has the ability to create amazing spaces without limiting herself to one specific style. She obviously considers the personal taste of her client, and then works her magic to design these incredible rooms.
Thanks for sharing!

Loving the elegance shown here today. I love the bathrooms
Hope your trip is not so exhausting, and you make it back for BBQ.
Happy Fourth….

Naturally all the rooms are gorgeous! However, my favorite has the blue tufted bed with windows all around, including the skylight!

Sandra is a talented designer…we can see why you love her designs. The first image of the living room is our favorite. It’s amazing how she pulled off such a cozy space in a large room with high ceilings. Her bathrooms are so beautiful. Hope you and your family enjoy the lacrosse tournament.

Tina…thanks for your kind comment on my post on Martha! I knew someone like you would enjoy it…my cerebral friend!
Love Sandra…she is a true talent..none of her spaces scream “I’m Sandra!” and her color use is superb. I am in love with the gray bedroom with sienna…it’s my fav color combo these days…Greet has a post with a lot of that too. Sandra’s bathrooms are heavenly.
Hope your tournament is a success!
Happy Fourth of July,
Amy

Tina, I loved this post. She does amazing work. Her style fits most of our clients more than a lot of the popular trends right now. Eclectic, classic style. I have been downloading images like crazy. Have a great 4th weekend. I’m at the lake on my screened porch right now. Company all coming in later in the day and tomorrow. Mona

I can absolutely see why you love Sandra’s work so much. Every room – elegant, inviting and polished. I think the higher the celings, the harder to warm up a space and I think she has shown how to do with perfection!

This is a bookmark post for sure!

Good luck to the boys at the LX tournament….and enjoy your 4th!

The pool patio with the blue and white striped cushions was to die for! Which reminds me….waht are your thoughts on outside furniture for your new home? What did you have before ans what will get now? Good questions right Tina! Post about it! I’d love to know! Have fun at the tournament! My cousins in NY played and attened Rensaileer (I spelled that wrong I know) for lacrosse!

It IS hard to choose! I particularly love all the bathrooms, the screening room, and I can really see myself hanging out in that very last room.

Hi Tina~ Again, just gorgeous photos. Love them. Enjoy the lacrosse tournament. My son plays lacrosse here after hockey season ends. He really loves both the sports.
Happy, happy 4th to you!

The designs make me swoon! So elegent and easy… a very wonderful combination! I also noticed all the vaulted, beamed and coffered ceilings! Just can’t get enough of interesting ceilings!
Don’t you love the calm undertones in all these designs?
YOu have brought us some beautiful images here!
Yvonne

I don’t blame you. Her style is the epitome of elegance and tradition. That outdoor area is going to me in my head for a while.
