Good morning hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. We did, it was actually pretty relaxing despite having another tournament for my son, but this one was thankfully local. We are winding down with the tournaments and I am not complaining! As we are nearing the final stages of the house, the decisions are coming at us fast and furious and I need all the attention, focus and clear thinking I can muster! I love bedrooms and now that I am really starting to think about my own in the new house, I have been paying a lot of attention to them, how they are furnished, what kinds of bedding is used, if wallpaper is being used in the bedrooms that I tend to be drawn to, lighting, etc…..its all in the details and how those details all come together! I am drawn to softer colors, love the idea of a bedroom feeling like you have been enveloped in a cocoon of luxuriousness and serenity.
I tend to favor the soft blues and creams but every now and then I surprise myself by being really attracted to a bedroom that is not in line with what I typically like. So today is a post about some beautiful bedrooms that for one reason or another is just very inspirational. Many different styles pictured here from casually coastal to very formal, but they are all lovely!  I love seeing extra seating in a bedroom, whether it be a chaise lounge, a bench at the foot of the bed, a pair of love seats or a huge comfy over sized club chair and ottoman. Whats your ideal bedroom? Always love to know!

Love this super elegant and equally beautiful bedroom by Sandra Nunnerly
Love everything about this inviting and gorgeous bedroom, Jean Randazzo
Taylor Hannah designed this opulent and formal bedroom
Always like seeing the creams and the pale grays together, beautiful serene bedroom by Palms Design group
Love the way the soft muted earth tones blend so melodically here, Suzanne Tucker
How about this cream puff of a bedroom? Mary McDonald
Soft tones in a more transitional bedroom, Jan Showers
Love the softness from the white tufted headboard and all white linens, Southern Accents
Fern Santini created this elegant oasis with a glamorous touch
Something fun about this guest room, all the different patterns with a punch of color, Massucco, Warner, Miller
One of my favorite designers, Phoebe Howard created this vision in cream
I am drawn to the super soft colors here, House and Home
Grand island tropical elegance, DLGV
Really liking the dark brown in this room, Traditional Home
Beautiful fabric on the upholstered headboard, Veranda
This would be akin to sleeping on a cloud! House Beautiful
Love the all white here, Bernd Haussman
A subtle punch of pale blue in an otherwise white washed room, quite pretty! Palms Design group
Another sumptuous pale beauty, how gorgeous is this? Belclaire House
The cool grays paired with crisp white are always stunning, Sandra Nunnerly
How about this vision in white against those gorgeous very dark floors? Robert Stern
How luxurious is this cream and white confection? Mary McDonald
And in honor of Mosaic Monday here is a little recap:
Well….get any ideas? Have a favorite here? I love seeing gorgeous inspiration but admittedly it can sidetrack and overwhelm me when you have to narrow it down to ONE thing!! I feel like I am making progress however and I cannot imagine having gone through this process without the Internet, God bless bless those brains that created it some thirty or forty years ago! Hope you have a wonderful day….

Hi Tina, I just found your blog through Pretty Pink Tulips. I heart all the bedrooms. We have browns and blues in our MB. I like the nightstand in The Palms Group Design bedroom.I would love to find something like that for our room. Good luck with your bedroom.

All beautiful bedrooms. I love the tufted headboard and that Fortuny light fixture. I also like how light and bright they are and yet simple…not a lot of pattern….and of course they make a beautiful mosaic.

I love these bedrooms! All so elegant and comfortable looking. I think less is more in a bedroom-a pretty bed, elegant furniture, and few extra details are all you really need.

Hi Tina. Your post today is so much for me. As you know I am busy with my own bedroom inspiration re my bodoir post a while back and in fact my post today is ultimately also about my guest bedroom exploring the combination of black and white. The Susan Tucker room above is spot on in terms of colours for my guest room but with a black metal bed. Also the colours from the first for my bodoir will help loads. Thanks a span for this am saving them to my moodboeards. You are a darling!

anon for life it seems…

In the one by Beclare House a the bottom, I am in love with the rug….it must be 16×20 or something? HUGE and gorgeous! I’m looking for a similar rug for a client, and even at very high end places it is hard to find the perfect one in the perfect size. But of course the Phoebe Howard room is my favorite, as usual. I love everything she does!

Many pretty spaces here Tina!
I am very fond of the Jean Randazzo bedroom and
the palms design group bedroom. Both very inviting
and very calming. I am going to keep this post handy
as we are just now starting to redo our own and this
is a VERY inspirational post. I also very much agree wiht you about how fast summer if slipping by, too fast if you
ask me. We have one exciting trip planned which I cannot wait for (to Fiji) but after that I feel like it will be time to get my girls ready for school again…so soon?

Oh Tina,
I love them all but my real favorites are the bedroom of Suzanne Tucker for its cosyness and charming radiance and the creamy one of Phoebe Howard!

While I love every bedroom, there is something about the 6th image (Mary Mcdonald that really grabs me. I just want to sink into the bedding. Something just makes me feel luxuriously cozy. LOVE IT! Seems the majority of the images trend the same, therefore you have a distinct look and feel that you are going for. I can only imagine the gloriousness your bedroom will exude!

I liked the room by Phoebe Howard and the room that Mary McDonald did, although that room seems a little over stuffed. I loved that campaign bed!
I don’t like a bedroom to be overly formal and feel like a hotel room~I like softer shades and lovely linens. For some reason the big chair in our room always collects clothing!

Hello Tina:
Such choices and we cannot imagine what you will ultimately decide, but we are so looking forward to seeing your finished bedroom when, finally, the work on the house is complete and the actual furnishing starts to take place.

What a wonderful collection of beautiful, cozy and elegant bedrooms. The colors are all so inviting and calming. The Phoebe Howard design takes cozy to a new level. Hope you have a great Monday! Angela and Renee

I have to say the very first one is my favorite! I love the built in storage, the soft colors, the window seat, everything. I would LOVE to do our master in all blue and white but my hubby does not like blue! It would be so pretty though. Right now it is cream and greens. Thanks for these beautiful pictures!!! XO, Pinky

While I would happily sleep soundly in any one of those gorgeous bedrooms above, I think the Phoebe Howard photo stole my heart! Perhaps because I don’t have a canopy bed.

Needing a change at my house but not ready to buy all new bedding, I swapped my bedding for what was in the guest room and got new white sheets from Ralph Lauren. It feels so summery and fresh now…and the guest room looks so “done”. I might just keep things that way.

Happy Monday, Tina!!
xx Elizabeth

They’re all beautiful but the first Nunnerly, then the Randazzo and the Belclaire were my favorites. I’m not fond of dark colours – brown, navy – in a bedroom. I like to feel as though I’ve come into a cloud and those three fill the bill.

Tina, I love love all of the above!! My master is in the palest, palest of blues, creams and whites. It is like being in a cloud and I take a deep breath and my blood pressure lowers when I am in there. I had a hard time finding a blue that was perfect for my room so I made up my own formula and I am married to it,now. I love my master and honestly would not change a thing except maybe make it a bit larger.
Happy Monday and thank you for your opinion on my question of the day,it looks as if it will be a GO!!! Everyone seems to like the idea, xo Kathysue

I love the first one. It’s yummy in every direction.
Goodluck with all your decisions. I’m in awe of your new house. It’s beyond amazing!

These bedrooms are breathtaking – each and every one of them! I’m drawn to soft blue and white rooms that are timeless and elegant in design. Pale, watery blues provide a sense of rest and relaxation, making them an ideal choice for a bedroom.
Your impeccable taste will no doubt create a master bedroom in your new home that will surpass anything in my wildest dreams!

Loove these bedrooms! I absolutely have to have white sheets on my bed. That’s non-negotiable. I also like my bedroom to be free of clutter and fairly simple, like a nice hotel room. I can’t sleep when I have all of my stuff around me. I would take any of these bedrooms however!

While Mary McDonald really knows how to fit everything in a small space, I’m more of a Phoebe Howard type of girl. Loving all these bedroom inspirations and these images are giving me the idea of redoing ours!
xxoo

I don’t know if all beautiful bedrooms just happen to be mixes of blues, grays and creams or if you just favor those picks but it’s definitely my favorite- so serene, peaceful- just dreamy!

In my next bedroom to “do”, I really must give bed hangings a whirl! So regal!
Nice round up.. Looks like you need to strive for serene in your sleeping space! 🙂

Tina,

Sweet dreams are made of this…I love photo’s #20, 21, and 22. Bedrooms really take liberties of being extremely beautiful and every wish list item fulfilled. Linens duvets, shams, dust ruffles, and all the goodies. We do spend a lot of time in our lives sleeping, dreaming, enjoying blissfulness. Enjoy this process Tina it’s getting really fun now!
