Not much time to prepare a post today, but a few fun random pictures I found that somehow never made it to the blog and a few links just in case you missed what’s happened around here this week!

IMG_0912I LOVE crostinis and these are a regular in my house, it’s kind of a “go to” quick appetizer to make especially when impromptu guests stop in, so fresh and yummy!

IMG_1588Isn’t this a beauty? I am loving this planter and considering a pair

IMG_1341Adore my monogrammed glassware, available in glass or Clarus (a very high quality acrylic/Lucite) from my online shop. Makes any summer cocktail so much prettier!

High and low, love my tole lamp and gorgeous wallpaper and the tray (from Target) wish I had bought more…..DSC_1239My son at 18 still loves when I make my “worms in dirt” cupcakes! I grind up Oreos as the dirt, add it to a cupcake already iced and throw on a few worms, always a big hit!

IMG_1318_2I came across this darling picture of Mr. Teddy and a wave of emotions came over me, it was bittersweet. It was sad to remember his accident (this was the day he was coming home from being in the hospital almost two weeks) but it also reminds me of the outpouring of love and well wishes for him and honestly that is something I will NEVER ever forget.

DSC_0816Time to replant my huge bowl (this bowl is enormous? as 2 feet round). Looks great with just about anything in it but I do love orchids!DSC_0802One of the biggest perks this time of year is the abundance of fresh fruit…..we have it on a daily basis.

DSC_0606Glad I found this picture, it is great inspiration for the graduation party next weekend as I plan on using an abundance of sunflowers

I had some friends over for a casual lunch a number of months ago and you know I always enjoy setting a blue and white table……DSC_0760

White hydrangeas are like the gift that keeps on giving….DSC_0758Something about blue and white is so crisp and calming……

So that is all of my randomness for today…….I have a very full day today and need to get busy. A few posts that you might have missed…….

Good morning Tina! I am finally done with grading my final exams and now I can enjoy your lush post here! Teddy…..OH!!! I remember this incident, and we are all so happy that heaven had mercy on this sweet furry friend. May he be well for many years to come! Tina, I love that planter of yours!

Well my friend, this is a busy weekend for many of us. I have two grad parties to attend, but all in all, the week looks good. OH! I must go to Tish; I just got her book in the mail. Thanks to YOU for the giveaway!

Have a relaxing and fun weekend, Anita

Awww… I remember when that awful thing happened to Teddy. So glad he was able to recover. Great eye candy for a Saturday weekend! Have a great one Tina!

You make me want to throw a party, you have such a wonderful flair for entertaining and displaying, have gotten many great ideas from you. I love that picture of cute Teddy too. Good luck getting through all you have going on, sounds like a busy time but fun. Take care of that knee as well…LOVE the tray and emailing you.

More beautiful photos ! Seeing sweet Teddy reminds me of his terrible “event”. So happy he is back to his sweet self.

Love the planter! Mind telling me where it’s from? I looked in your online shop but didn’t see it. Thanks!

Tina you have to admit you have everything a hostess might ever need to entertain and throw a celebration!
Love the new tray it is gorgeous!!

Beautiful pictures, Tina but I want to focus on Teddy! When you mentioned his accident, were you referring to the attack by a neighbor’s dog? I remember we were all so very worried about Teddy as his condition sounded quite serious. I have wondered many times, if anything was done about the attacking dog. I believe at the time you said Teddy was not his first victim. Update please? Thanks again for all the effort you put into your lovely posts. Sally Leonard –a fan from Houston, Tx.

It’s looking so fresh and fun at your place Tina! I had to smile when I saw the “dirt” cupcakes. My kids are the same way 😉 I’ve posted some funny photos of all the PINK from my daughters last birthday party. I think I secretly enjoy bringing this element back as it reminds me of the days when they were my little ones .. Those crostini with the basil and mozzarella look SO good. I think I’ll add them to the menu this weekend.

We have city approval for our construction! .. just waiting for an inspection and the demolition begins. I may be emailing for support;) I’m nervous and excited all at the same time. Hopefully everything will look perfect when completed (and I realize “completed” is a relative term in this case!)

At my daughter’s graduation party we have tons of sunflowers (her fav ) in vases with small pennant flags (the ones on wood sticks) from the college she was going to attend, UC Berkeley. Thrilled their colors were gold and blue!!! I was able to use all my blue & white for table decor! Hope you are as lucky as I was with the school colors.

Congrat on your son going to his next level. College is a fun experience for both student and parents!!! It’s just 4 years. All of you should enjoy everything it has to offer.

i don’t think you’ll be surprised to hear that the photo of teddy pierced my heart. that accident affected a lot of people, and i was one of those praying for that sweet innocent furry friend of yours. love to you, tina. hope you are well.

Thinking of you today, knowing you’re having a very busy weekend!!! Love that your “big” boy still loves worms in dirt. That’s just the cutest thing ever. Can you believe, I’ve never made that for my boys. Will do this summer. Sweet Teddy?.so happy he’s all better now.

Love seeing bits of your entertaining and home! It always inspires me to have people over more often!

Enjoy the sun, the graduation parties and everything else!
xoxo Elizabeth
