Some of you may have been having difficulties getting onto my site (many of you actually) just know nothing is wrong, but that the site “behind the scenes” is being worked on and this might be the case today as well. The end result will be a new and improved Enchanted Home!

Hi there and happy Sunday morning to you! Big game today….The World Cup!! May the best team win, so sad to see Brazil go down yet again in such another humiliating loss. Yes, World Cup Fever has hit this household (being in a household of boys are you really surprised)! Hope you are having a great weekend, here the weather is picture perfect and I am so enjoying being at the beach.? I was “tagged” by a fellow blogger and friend who I adore. Sweet Carolyn of Vintage Mulberry tagged me in this fun game of answering a bunch of questions about myself.

I have to admit I had a lot of fun mulling them over and I enjoyed this exercise very much. I am here to share it with you and to thank Carolyn for including me in her “inner circle” of those she tagged. So ready to learn just a little bit more about me? Here we go….

?rp_jeanneunnamed-193x300111111111.jpg

1. Were you named after someone? No, but now I? am going to ask my mom just to be sure!! (Perhaps Queen Christina of Sweden)!? Yes on second thought think I am going with that one…lol.

2. When was the last time you cried? Almost embarrassed to admit this but two days ago,? while driving through East Hampton I saw all these moms greeting their precious ruddy chubby cheeked toddlers as they got off the camp bus and a flood of memories came rushing back of my own kids…waaaahhhhh!

3. Do you have kiddos? Speaking of the devils…yes, 3 boys! 26, 24 and “the baby” is 18. Can’t imagine life without them…they are our everything!

4. If you were another person would you be a friend to yourself? At the sake of sounding like I am boasting, heck yea! I am a really good and loyal friend, giving, fun,? spontaneous and generous.

5. Do you have a guilty pleasure? Um….yes, quite a few. Let’s see Bravo TV and most of the housewife shows on Bravo, just about anything chocolate,, salty things like salt n’ vinegar chips, Swedish Fish and gummy bears, blue and white porcelain, to name a few……

6. Do you? like handwriting? YES!! I love any excuse to use beautiful stationery, no e card or e vite will EVER take the place of the art of handwriting a beautiful note or invitation. It makes me sad that our kids do not write as we grew up doing, and few have much experience “writing cursive”. In fact? I have read that some of the younger kids don’t even know what that means!!

7. What is your favorite cereal? I love Raisin Bran crunch and if I were being bad and wanting to feel like a kid all over again, I just might go for Peanut butter Captain Crunch:)

8.What is the first thing you notice about people?? Their aura, I consider myself (have that sixth sense, got it from my mom)? pretty intuitive, just normally get “a vibe”. I also look at their eyes….the window to their soul!

9. What’s the color of your eyes? Blue, green, no wait blue, no I meant green….needless to say they change! Depends on what I am wearing I guess.

10. Scary movie or happy endings? Absolutely happy endings! I am petrified of scary movies, always have been. Got talked into seeing The Exorcist and slept on the loveseat in my parents bedroom for an entire month AND I was 16!!!!

11. Favorite TV shows? Well I love Bravo’s shows (yes a few are? like watching a slow train wreck but so entertaining) , the housewife series, Million Dollar real listing series, they are all so much fun. I do love the news as well and normally have it on in the background. Did watch some of Downton Abby but didn’t’ see it through the season, and I also really enjoy many of the shows on HGTV and The Food Network.

12. Summer or winter? OK well I have to preface this by saying fall is my absolute fave. It always has been but this fall will be tough for me, my baby will be heading to college so I am bracing myself. Next would be summer, I love the beach, having a tan, eating lobster rolls and fish tacos, summer travel, the laid back vibe of summer really appeals to me. I do love a cold, wintry snowstorm every now and then, the kind that keeps you inside but not 3 months of it ….ugh!!

13. Hugs or kisses? I will take both from anyone who wants to give me them:)

14. Any special talent? I am not a bad artist and I? might be the only person in the world who thinks this, but a good singer (I can hear the snickers now). I also think I am a pretty decent cook and a great entertainer.

Like, Suzanne, surprised you are a Louisiana gal! You certainly have that southern belle charm πŸ˜‰

Tina what a fun psot and I share MANY things in common with you! I love Swedish fish, blue and white, still am getting used to being an empty nester (there are pluses) and love all your movie choices, you had me laughing about your “talents” and there is no doubt in my mind you can do anything and do it to perfection. Thanks for this wonderful post.

While not a southern gal, we do have lots in common! I, too, have three boys I adore, and the youngest is heading off to college in the fall. I also think I read somewhere in your blog that you have a sister in Charlottesville. I also have a sis in Cville and I LOVE to visit her there! Anyway, I love your taste and will try to submit something for your photo gallery. The goodies I’ve purchased from your on-line store have certainly made my home more beautiful!

Happy Sunday Tina, you Southern belle, YOU! It’s fun to find our more about you, and I could just tell you are the type of friend I love being and having: LOYAL! Your boys are darling, and Mr. Teddy is priceless, your talents intriguing, and YOU? Unforgettable! Anita

Tina, I didn’t know you were a Louisiana girl! For most of my childhood, I equated ‘going to college’ with LSU! Since that was the state school, I thought that is where everyone went! I hought you had always lived in NY! How in the world did you happen to get up there? And…..now, I know, you really DO understand humidity! πŸ™‚ Really nice post! Laura

Quite a few things in common with you. I also love writing letters and notes. I’m happy to say I passed this love to my adult daughter πŸ™‚
I already told you how handsome I find Teddy. I have a soft spot for Goldens.
Cute picture of your 3 boys! How quickly they grow up.

My three boys are the same age spacing apart – 29, 27, 22. The oldest is getting married in a few weeks! Wheee!!

I don’t normally leave comments. But I really do enjoy your posts and thought it was time to say that. Although I’m quite a bit older than you we do have much in common. I read on one of your “interviews” you were a mom at 22. So was I and our children age differences are the same. Love tennis, entertaining, cooking and of course my complete obsession with blue and white. Adore my 3 children but wait till you have a grand child (I told you I was much older). They are the absolute joy in my life. Thanks for your great blog.

Baton Rouge…that explains a lot! I always felt that you were a Southerner at heart! There is just no mistaking that Southern Hospitality:-) I hope you are enjoying your time at the beach…looking forward to a few days at the beach with my two adult daughters:-) I absolutely love East Hampton and THE Hamptons, in general! But we will be in Florida on the Gulf coast. Have a fabulous week and look forward to your blogs every week!

I really enjoyed this post, learning so much about you, I love your zest for life! I too, like so many of your followers, have several things in common with you, even down to the cereal, lol, Thanks for sharing with us and allowing us a peek into your wonderful life, you are an inspiration! Have a wonderful week, look forward to your next post πŸ™‚ Debbie

How fun is this, Tina? Love hearing your answers- lots in common with your answers. I did not realize you were from Louisiana though – kindred spirits for sure! Hope you’re having a great start to your week!!

Good morning, Tina!

It’s always nice knowing more about you… wish we could sit down and have some coffee together. I know we cold talk for hours… πŸ™‚

Wishing you a Blessed week, my friend.

I really enjoyed learning more about you, Tina. No wonder I love reading your posts. Lots of similiar likes….Especially the movies. I would have to add Sabrina with Harrison Ford to the list though.

Thanks for all the wonderful ideas from your beautiful home and your travels.
Enjoy the beach……I am in smouldering Las Vegas, Nevada.

Tina,

I have to smile when I read your blog, too many things in common to mention. This one really hit home, in addition to being a lover of blue and white, loving my golden, Max, and raisin bran and tennis, the photo of your little one in the exact flag sweater my now 29 year old son also wore took me back. Feeling a little weepy wondering where the years have gone.
Thanks for sharing!
Jackie

Uber talented an funny I know why I like you so much!! I wish I could get into the Bravo series but those women scare me LOL!! xo Karolyn

LOVED reading this, Tina! Thanks so much for participating! I have to say I didn’t know you were from Baton Rouge either! Loved the picture of your boys and I totally get the crying thing! Especially if your baby is about to leave! That was so hard for me! Luckily, he’s not too far away to come home a good bit! Thanks again?.This was wonderful!

Hi Tina I do not comment often but so enjoy your blog and really enjoyed getting to know more about you. We definitely have movies in common, a love of chocolate and of all the many things you would love to do, I have owned a restaurant and co wrote a screenplay! Go for dreams, life is short and you don’t want to look back with any regrets, you also seem to have a real passion for all you do so I think you would be a huge success. Think you need a lifestyle book!

Your boys ( I presume) are so darling!

I LOVE that tour car is blue!! So great that you are true to your tastes in every aspect of your life. I’m with you on the salt n vinegar AND the swedish fish – but only the high quality ones. So fun to learn more about you. And like you, I cry most at poignant things like watching my kids get older!
Stacy

Grinning ear to ear! I didn’t think it was possible to adore you more?but I do! One thing I know for sure?.you are exactly the kind of person I love having as a friend!!!!

Hope you are having fun unpacking all the goodies. They all look great!
xoxo Elizabeth
