Moving along…..I have spoken of the design project in NYC, that I have been working on. It’s been such fun and for many reasons….great homeowners (always helps) a fabulous apartment with killer views and for me, this has been especially great because I have gotten to work on a different style, a transitional sleek NYC apartment and? having worked on this I can say its made me a total convert! I am ready for a slick pied a terre of my very own:)

I love the way it’s coming along and though there is still work to be done, lights to hang, bedding to add,? pictures and art to purchase, etc…..the elements are coming together beautifully and we are most pleased! So thought it would be fun to show some “in progress” pictures and share a bit of what we are doing. Come on in……

It all starts with the rugs! We chose Thomas O Brien’s (from Safavieh)? line for the rugs, so beautiful…

The dining room chair from Baker is such a classic beauty that we did in a COM fabric? and was a match made in heaven with the rug…..

Love this sleek and extremely comfortable sofa/sectional from Lee Industries, done in a beautiful cotton striae velvet…

In the meantime, a massive custom unit from Old Biscayne was getting put in and this was no easy undertaking……

A pretty orchid amongst all the chaos….un4544named

Gorgeous new buttery soft leather bar stools from Hancock and Moore (to me they make the absolute best leather seating)

And it’s starting to look like a room!unnam343cced unnam3433d

Meanwhile in the master bedroom, the gorgeous Thomas O Brien (yes we are big fans of all he does)? cream velvet bed is being put in…..

unna422med

And this pair of gorgeous alabaster lamps were just opened, and will go in master or foyer console….(lamps from Visual Comfort)unncdamed unn34333amed

LOVE! We added thees alabaster lamps instead (also Thomas O Brien) yes we love his line!

And how about this beautiful fixture for the vestibule to enter the master..

Adore the lamps here, a match made in heaven….(bedding is not done yet)

And this beautiful cabinet also from Old Biscayne is in the master bedroom, the detailing of the antique mirror gives it such a rich look

And the other lamps went on this beautiful foyer console…..unnaeeemed

A mirror from my clients old house getting hung above (always good to use things one already has,? if they work)!….uqewrnnamed

And in her daughters room, the wallpaper is hung, how great is this paper….

In her sons room which was serving as a makeshift storage facility (son is away to college) and? since the furniture had not come in, we got in this gorgeous chair covered with a Ralph Lauren ticking and today this beautiful navy leather bed from Vanguard is being delivered!

unna2342med

And here are the beautiful new pillow combinations we have been playing with for the master bedroom……these will soon be added to my online shop, they are magnificent and if you can believe even prettier in person!

unna43433med

In the end this is what we decided on, three of the super soft woven euros (back) two of the 22″ squares above and the one below in the center, tonal but with a lot of texture and design…..gorgeous!u323nnamed unner3amed 11

For the living room we have selected these-

Then I put some more pillow combinations down on a mood board and needless to say there is not a bad combination in the bunch!

So there you have it a pretty comprehensive look at where we are……it has been so much fun watching it all come together! Only had one mishap with the window treatments in master which are being replaced but otherwise its been a total thrill….and I am excited to see the finishing touches be put on as it all comes together.

I will be sure to follow up? with some completed pictures when it is all said and done. Thanks for stopping by, wishing you a fabulous day and until next time……

My favorite things are the sofa, living room unit, bed and lighting oh and the pillows, and that lucite console actually I can’t choose a favorite because i love it all. It is modern but so elegant and love all the creamy colors, so pretty.
