Hi there! Well with nearly 2700 votes cast, you have spoken and we have a top contender from each of the two rounds for my HOLIDAY LOVE contest. I can certainly see why these came out on top…they both exemplify the true meaning of holiday love indeed.

Now the hard part…choosing the grand prize winner. One vote per person. Voting will end early tomorrow morning (7am EST) and I will at that time announce a lucky winner. I want to thank everyone who participated and sent in their pictures,? sharing their version of holiday love with me and all of my Enchanted Home readers. And a special thank you to all who took the time to cast their votes.

So? here are the two finalists……..from round 1 we have this beautiful picture from Lisa-

And on a totally different note…I got a new camera for Christmas! I have only used it a handful of times (tried it out on some of my remaining holiday decor) heck who am I kidding., to say “my remaining” implies I have taken a lot down, truth is it’s ALL still up(wilting tree and all).

I haven’t taken a single ornament down, it is part laziness and part just not wanting to let go of the magic of the season:) I took a few quick pictures just to give this camera a spin around the block, and have lots to learn and read up on (hopefully a photography course is in my future for 2015). Here are the results of my new camera the Canon T5 Rebel…so far me likey! I look forward to using it on a regular basis…..

So friends that’s it for today. I will be back tomorrow with the grand prize winner and a vacation recap. Hope all is well in your neck of the woods, here it is absolutely freezing, feels like a frozen tundra with single digits last night. I am suddenly longing for that warm tropical air, ahh……..Until tomorrow!

I missed voting for the first Holiday Love Round 1, but my pic that I would have voted for won anyway. Both of these pics today are so sweet, but #1 really tugs at my heart each time I look at it! I hope the owner frames it – it’s a definite keeper!

I love both of these pictures but have to admit being the worrying type that I am I was a little freaked out seeing a baby play with lights!! Very cute baby though:-)

Both pictures are amazing but that first one is the epitome of what the holidays are all about, I hope the owner blew it up and framed it. Just love your pictures Tina, such beautiful quality but then again you have a beautiful subject.

Though both pictures are absolutely beautiful and I love both for different reasons, I chose picture #2. Here’s why: picture #1 looks staged to me. It’s a breath-taking picture, though, with the silhouettes of the children against the lighting of the tree and I love it for what it is. Yet, picture #2 looks candid of the precious baby showing curiosity and touching the lights and that’s why I chose it. Just simple preference since we had to choose one over the other! Tina, I also enjoyed seeing all of your blue and white porcelain pieces again entwined with the Christmas touches. Beautiful. Enjoy your new camera in this new year!

Love every single picture on this page, from the contest pictures to those of your beautiful home, love how crisp and large they are! May the best picture win.

Tina
The clarity in your photos is amazing. The design aspect of each vignet is wonderful too showing your creativeness. Your photos look professionally done.
The Chridtmas photo of the two children in front of the tree to me captures the love and magic of Christmas. I also loved all the pics of the dear pets submitted. Happy New Year. Kathleen

So difficult to choose from the many original pictures, but I kept coming back to the purpose of the contest: Christmas Love. The decorations were beautiful and inspiring, but the children most of all – and even the pups and pets – we’re most evocative of the Love theme. Thanks for assembling all this just for our enjoyment! It made our Holidays brighter.

It’s hard to let go of the magic of the season, that’s for sure. We took everything but the outside lights down before we left for Sun Valley, and it was so depressing to come home to a bare home. Glad you’ve left yours up.

LOVE the photos from the new camera. I’ve had mine a year, and it’s made such a difference. Sadly, I dropped it just before our luncheon… Mr. H. replaced the filter and tweaked a couple other things and we thought it was fine, but it did some weird things on our trip, so I’m worried!

Anyway, have fun with yours – can’t wait to see all the fab photos you are going to take.

And thanks for keeping the holiday magic going! XOXO

Oh, dear….that’s like “picking a favorite child….” You do have a task ahead of you!! Your camera photos are amazing!! And, you’re the second “blogger” with a new Canon!! Better check this out, I am!!! franki

Tina, I’m so glad you received the Cannon for Christmas. Your photos here today are gorgeous. Your home is beautiful and I will never tire of seeing pictures ..thanks for sharing. We take down our holiday d?cor when it’s convenient not necessarily when we tire of it.

Fortunately my first days back to reality were easy work days and now I’m off until Monday. I do miss my lazy mornings but it was good to get back to a normal schedule. Have fun today!

Your holiday decorations are absolutely exquisite. Actually, I have never seen anything that comes close to what you did. Thank you for sharing.

Both of theses pictures are beautiful. It’s too hard to choose!

Congratulations on the new camera. The shots with it look lovely. I’m sure you will enjoy it.

We’re off today to the Biltmore house in Asheville. It’s been years since I’ve toured it and I can’t wait!

Blessings to you and yours for a great week.

Tina,
I loved all the pictures that were submitted and it is amazing to see so many varied ideas-each fantastic and unique. I have only had pet children so I am partial to those pictures, but love both of the top entries. Your home is gorgeous, but it is your talent that takes it over the top, especially at Christmas !!! Happy 2015 Tina.

These 2 holiday love photos are the perfect example of the season. Loved them both but voted for my ultimate fav. 🙂

Holy Camera!!! I think we can add “photographer” to your list of many talents!! Seriously, some of these photos look like they came out of Architectural Digest! A good camera really can improve the photographs. But, you’ve always had the eye. Have fun using your new toy!!!

xoxo Elizabeth

Wow, a good camera really is worth the investment. Your photos are so clear and crisp. I also want to tell you I love the chest in your first photo. It’s so unique!

Which pictures best exemplify holiday love? Yours!! Love, love, love your decorations, and it’s so great to see them captured them with your new camera. Fabulous shots of beautiful settings!

Both are perfectly heartwarming and capture the childlike love and happiness of Christmas ! A reminder of the feelings we should all possess during the season and all year long .
My 2 favorites … each should win 1st place !

Beautiful photos from a
lovely soul! I’d still have
my Christmas up if we’d
been home to celebrate
this year. It’s still magic
to me during these short
days of winter to have
the twinkling lights and
masses of candles!

Loved both photos.

Happy New Year, Tina.
Enjoy your new camera!

Tina – Sure was hard to pick a winner. They absolutely portray the magic of Christmas at two different stages of childhood.
Your pictures are wonderful. I don’t think I’ll ever tire of looking at your home to get ideas for mine.
P.S. Our girls loved their monogramed trays!

I adore the pictures you took with your new camera, Tina. They are lovely. And I like keeping the magic of the holiday season going as long as possible. It helps to beat the winter doldrums. Your decorations are exquisite!
This has been such a fun contest! So many great entries. Thanks for the great eye candy and fun. Stay warm?.
