Hi friends, hope you are well! The weather has been so gorgeous lately and we have even had a few evenings that warranted a sweater…how exciting! Really gets me in the mood to usher in fall, in? all its glory. I LOVE fall/winter dressing.

Makes a great topic for today’s post. Incidentally I have done a little clothes shopping lately so feel well versed on what is out there for every day casual chic dressing with a few dressier pieces thrown in that can be dressed up or down…found some goodies and would consider just about every piece here a true closet staple that will stand the test of time.

SO if you could choose any 2 of these staples which would be your top picks? Hard to choose… put on those thinking caps:) Here we go….




CHOICE 1 This is such a smart looking sweater dress and what a price. I could see it with riding boots as much as I could a pearl necklace and heels…click here for info

CHOICE 4. Being a lace lover this stopped me in my tracks. I had to order, I could so see this for my holiday party with black velvet slacks or a silk skirt in a festive color like rich green or red or even tartan…IN LOVE with this piece!! Thank you for the inspiration, Tina. I had a “what would Tina wear moment” yesterday trying to decide what to wear to dinner tonight in NYC. A pretty blouse and black slacks w/ankle boots it will be ( may be nasty weather coming our way).Love both sweater dresses. Ordering them now:)

Tina, it WAS difficult to choose , though I went with the Theory pant and belted cashmere sweater! I have had the NYDJ jeans for some time and can attest to how great they are!
