Hi friends, I know we are all busy bees this week running around and facing the crazy crowds at the markets in anticipation of Thanksgiving….myself included. We will be a small group this year which makes me frankly quite happy:) I am hosting and looking forward to a feast and then some serious relaxation involving game playing, movie watching, leftover bringing and doing a whole lot of nothing else:)

It has been cold here lately…..I am talking 20’s and 30’s! Definitely boot weather, in fact wore my first pair of boots the other day….and realized I need to replenish. I live in boots Dec- March so they see lots of mileage!

I have two faves one wedge and one Stuart Weitzman over the knee that have seen several lifetimes….so think it’s time to bring in a few new pair. Found some great ones including all weather, rain boots, low everyday boots and dressier boots. Thought it would make a great Which would you choose. So ready to choose your two faves? Here we go…..

Hi Tina,

I had composed an email and lost it. Wonder if it was sent. If not, will send again.\

First of all a very Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family. Thank you so very much for your amazing blog and all that you share with us!

Don’t know when you are going to Naples, but we have a place there and I wanted to share some of our favorite spots with you.

Bleu Provence, Lovely French restaurant off the main streets, so mostly locals. If it is a nice night, be sure to ask for outside seating on the porch behind the restaurant.

Turtle Club, If you are staying at the Ritz, this is just north of the Ritz on the beach. Again if a nice night ask for outside seating on the beach. Go early and sit at a table on the sand, have dinner at that table and watch the sunset. Inside eating not all that special, but food is very good.

Avenue 5, A trendy restaurant on Fifth Avenue. As always, ask for outside seating if weather permits.

Campiello on 3rd Street South, Great Italian food and outside seating is the best.

Fish, Across the street from us in an area called Venetian Village. Great seafood and outside seating along the inland water way is the best.

Be sure to see the area of Naples called Port Royal. It is the furthest area South in Naples. Gordon Drive takes you there along the Gulf. You can rent a boat and see this area from the water or take a tour boat.

It is confusing because there are two main streets in Naples. There is 5th AVENUE SOUTH; many great restaurants and some shopping, and then there is 3rd STREET with great boutiques, restaurants and art galleries. There is also Waterside which has upscale national store shopping, and across the street from us is Venetian Village with great restaurants and shopping. The Art Center is also great and the preforming arts are alive!

Hope this helps a little. If you have any questions, please email me!

Forgot to leave a list of my favorite shops;

Marissa on 3rd Street!

Carson’s jewelry on 13th Street South, just off of 3rd Street, the owner Cindy is just the best!

Monograms and More on 13th Avenue South

Gattles on 3rd Street, Great linens and china

Paper Merchant on 13th Avenue, just off of 3rd Street

Maus and Hoffman, clothing for men on 14th Avenue South off of 3rd Street

John Craig, clothing for men on 3rd Street

Also forgot to mention Jane’s on 13th Avenue South for lunch. All organic and just the best eating outside for a Sunday brunch or lunch any day!!!!!!!!
