Hello friends!  Well this is a very busy week, we have gotten more orders out the door than I can count,  but now it’s time for me to concentrate on what I need to get done and suffice to say there is plenty! It was nice having the day on Sunday to reassess what still needs to get done, etc…. Now that the obligations, parties, get togethers are behind me, and I will admit I am kind of relived, I can fully concentrate on what is left to be done.

This year was an interesting holiday season because it was the first year I have worked full time (and then some) so found it  a bit more challenging in terms of juggling and scheduling. There were some things that honestly just had to fall to the wayside, sending out Christmas cards, my poor neglected front door planters, some areas around the house that I normally decorate had to take a back seat to priorities.

However, my tree that I am madly in love with more than made up for the things that didn’t get done however:) I could easily leave this tree up all year long! So here is a look at what was able to get done along with a few pictures from the Christmas party. I so wish I had a photographer because there were a lot of beautiful moments that I wish we could have captured. Oh well….maybe next year:)

So here is a look at how I decked the halls for 2016……

Flowers abound…they just make me happy!

Various vignettes throughout the house….

In the kitchen my paperwhites are going strong, some love the scent, others do not…I personally can’t get enough!

Beautiful super full wreath from Weston Farms, no one does them better

And this is kind of sad….my “attempt” at least starting my planters, but the pumpkins remained and here is my very lame planter scenario, let’s call this exhibit A in a “slice of real life”

Found a beautiful way to use the red flowers and add red roses to the small bud vases in my breakfast room

And on a chest in my breakfast room I added these pinecone/myrtle pieces, love the browns against the blue and white

This was taken during set up of our family Christmas party on Sat. (regrettably did not take more pictures) But first we got a beautiful snowfall the day before…really made it feel like Christmas!

Here are the few pictures I took with my Nikon then the battery died:(

And that friends is a wrap on Christmas 2016. It has been a fun, very full and extremely busy month. I am personally looking forward to Christmas eve knowing what’s done is done, putting up my feet surrounded by my family, opening up a bottle of champagne in front of a crackling fire and cheering the holidays. And you?

Thank you for stopping in, wishing everyone a wonderful day, and may these next few days be as stress free as is humanly possible as we all plow forward to get those last minute details wrapped up. Cheers! Until next time…..

Tina, if anything has gotten me into the Christmas spirit it is seeing all of your wonderful decorating. Thank you for sharing! The blue and white displays are breathtaking, and now you have inspired me to add my few pieces of blue and white. It adds a touch of elegance to everything.

Wishing you the best and brightest of the holiday season!

Every time I see pictures of your gorgeous creations, I can’t help but notice the beautiful paintings in your home. It’s so hard to find realist paintings nowadays. They are all abstract globs of paint on huge canvases that look as though a DIY’er could accomplish the same when in a really terrible mood. Would you consider sharing your source for paintings? I love the scenic view painting over your fireplace and the many other similar types of paintings in your beautiful home. I have admired it many times when viewing your inspiring photos. Thanks so much for sharing with us!

Where can I find the tiny ginger jars like the one used on your packages? I love them!

Everything is beautiful! Thank you for sharing these pictures.
Happy Holidays to you and your family!

Sincerely,

Sandie

Merry Christmas to you and your family Tina. Your home is exquisite, especially with the added Christmas decorations.
Happy New Year!

I love every single thing! Even the planters outside! Tina, your style and my wannabe style are exactly the same. I see some basic similarities such as your kitchen cupboards and even faucets are so similar to mine. My love for blue and white started in my first home, but my pieces, collected over the years, are mostly imitations of the better quality. I still love them. I’m fairly new to your site, but it is my favorite. If you ever find the time to give us a few basic steps on cultivating your style, please do. This is NOT to say that seeing all the photos you share leaves me uninspired…but sometimes I get stuck because of all the clutter stuff I have and don’t know how to refine other than starting over. Sorry to be so lengthy. I truly see myself in your style and it makes me so happy.

Tina…I forgot to wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas! You deserve to rest knowing that you have brought Joy to so many others.

Just fantastic!!! I am again so inspired by your design work. Being an avid gardener, I always use love flowers bc they make such a difference! Your blue and white is great….I need to keep adding to my collection. Can’t wait to see what you bring in next year. Merry Christmas to all!! ?☃?☃?☃?
