Hi, well by the time you are reading this I will have been in my little happy place, Palmetto Bluff for a few days, a great place to ring in the new year! The house is really coming along so beautifully and we are in the finishing stages which is as we all know, the best part of all!

I look forward to taking lots of pics of the progress and sharing them with you in chapter 31. In the meantime, the key word for today’s post is marble. Most of the stone got put in on the counter tops and I can’t wait to see it in person. So as I do every chapter,  I share the recent progress then pick a topic to talk about. Here is the most recent-

_______________

The kids bathrooms-

Lots of good progress! Today’s topic is outdoor furniture. We have a huge covered porch which I look forward to decorating. I see my Provence planters with beautiful big palms, ceiling fans and comfortable indoor/outdoor furniture with outdoor rugs.

For furniture we own both Cast Classics and Lane Venture. Lane Venture offers the look I am going for, overstuffed wicker pieces. These pieces are from their St. Simons collection which I own currently and  love so much, think I will do them again.

I will do them in a cream as shown and get color and accents from the pillows

Because I am not crazy about their tables I will likely go with another company for cocktail table and dining table-

These are all from Bernhardt, nice looking and affordable

Add a few garden seats instead of cocktail tables (these are from my shop)-

And of course my gorgeous  new style Provence planters are a must, cannot wait to use these!!

For rugs the selection for outdoor rugs has never been so great, it is limitless! I see soft blues and tans/creams, several of these caught my eye (all from Decor Market)

This is the general idea of what I see there, once I have a vision in mind, I pretty much stick to it so think this is about right-

Well that is this weeks progress, cannot wait to share with you the very latest based upon my current visit. I appreciate you stopping by and sharing this fun journey with me…best parts are yet to come! Wishing you a wonderful day and hope your 2018 is off to a fantastic start! Until next time….

How exciting to see this progress. I just love all the cabinetry and marble tops, well done! When do you expect it to be done? Thank you for the beautiful leads on the outdoor furniture, I LOVE the look you are going for, it is going to be fantastic. I am going to check out Lane Venture we are building a pool house (to be done in April) and I need to start ordering furniture, that line looks beautiful and I assume you have been happy with it since you would order again? Happy new year.

Just wonderful! You’ve done it again. I look forward to seeing the progress and your choices with such a beautiful home.

It’s coming right along! Love everything! What color of paint is that on, I’m assuming, a bathroom cabinet that looks taupe? It looks really nice. Can’t wait to see upcoming pictures! Thanks, Tina!

What a stunning home this will be- I agree the finishing g stages are so much fun, love the color palette. Neutrals are so soothing. Thanks for sharing this fun experience with us!

Happy New Year Tina. How nice to be in Palmetto Bluff for the holiday. Your house is stunning and I adore all the marble. Congratulations on the great progress.

Tina thank you so much for stopping by today! I was thinking of you recently when a good friend lost her dog that looked a lot like your Teddy. I know it was your first Christmas without him and I’m so sorry.
Your new project is just what we’d all expect from you! It’s beautiful and I hope you are enjoying every minute
Best,
Stacy

Beautiful! Totally my style! What marble is in the kitchen? Maybe I missed it, but I can’t find it anywhere, nor the cabinet color. Could you share the color of your cabinets and marble please? This home is my inspiration for our Southern home. Thank you! 🙂

Your home will be beautiful! Can’t wait to see the entire project finished. What a beautiful location, with a view of the water. So peaceful and calm.

Love this inspiration board of lovely, Tina! The overstuffed wicker pieces look so comfy and will encourage lingering and lounging…enjoy your time away from home, friend. xox

Wonderful progress- love all the cabinets and stone. Those kitchen cabinet doors are so beautiful! I really like the porch design board- it will always look classically beautiful.

I love seeing the progress. The materials and furniture you’ve selected are fabulous. I can’t wait to see the final reveal.
