Hi friends and Happy Mothers Day!! We all know being a mom is the hardest but most rewarding job out there and we all more than deserve this day of recognition if you ask me:) I hope each and every mother out there is going to have a wonderful day spent exactly as you please and hope you will do a little something for yourself that makes you happy! For me I know being in my PB home is all the gift I need:) If you want a good laugh read this…..

I hope this posts on time as it was scheduled before I left to go away last week. I have had  a normal weeks worth of posts scheduled to appear and so far so good. In the meantime, here is this Sunday’s post-

1 THOSE FABULOUS FRENCHIES. I have followed this account for some time and just get the biggest kick out of these precious pooches!! They have better wardrobes than I would venture to say 98% of women out there:) Their postings always make me smile, so entertaining.

They celebrate every holiday and birthday in great style and their cooperation would be the envy of most moms with young kids out there! If you are on Instagram and not following them….you should! Click here to follow this fabulous account on instagram-

2 TO ALL THE MOMS OUT THERE. We need a little Mothers Day inspiration on this Sunday, after all we know and I am sure can admit being a mother is the most important job on this earthTwo videos, one funny and one very touching.

This is so funny and yet so true…..we might sometimes underestimate ourselves and just all we do!

And if you don’t mind a Sunday morning cry then you will be touched I am sure by this video as I was-

3 INSTAGRMAS OF INTEREST Flowers are a big part of this Sunday’s round up and with good reason, spring flowers are among my favorites and after a winter of nature lying dormant it is so exciting to see color come to life. Plus some beautiful interior shots and a bit of travel inspiration-

My favorite this week is this one because I loved how The Enchanted Home was displayed on her laptop:)

4.  SOMETHING I WILL BE TRYING THIS SUMMER Have always been obsessed with these chilled ice buckets with flowers, greens, lemons, etc…they are so beautiful and what a way to dress up a spring or summer table! I had found a great DIY on a blog,  and need to start digging to find it but promise to share as soon as I do. Aren’t these fabulous-

5. TODD EVENTS. Love the work of talented party planners and have followed the work of Todd events for some time. I love their attention to detail and their aesthetic really appeals to my own. Check out some of the GORGEOUS work they have done…..wow!! Click here to see the website.

6. A NEW FAVORITE FLORAL AND  OTHER SHOP NEWS.  Lots going on here behind the scenes. Here is a snippet of what is the latest with my shop-

Love this new floral, it is so elegant and that pink orchid is unbelievably realistic (as are all of them). Seeing is believing! Click here to see all.

I did this window seat as part of a fun design job and so loved this combination of fabrics, thinking of doing this for my own window seat in PB-

Got my professional pictures back from my photographer for the giftware…it is en route and should be here within a few weeks.I will hold a presale on this wrap very soon, LOVE each and every one!

These are reversible, the print is on one side and the beautiful trellis on the revers-

Lemon topiary

Boxwoods-

And the chinoiseries are equally spectacular offered in four colors with gold- ivory, pale green, pale blue and pale pink-

7. SUNDAY’S SURVEY Speaking of that darling Coca Cola up there from the Todd Events party, I used to be a big soda drinker. Yes I know its bad for you but I was mildly addicted to my one or two per day. Since we made this decision to eat much healthier about 8 weeks ago one thing I gave up was soda…not easy but a choice I was happy to make.

Well its going on week 8 and I can honestly say the cravings for a soda have greatly diminished and I almost never think about it. In fact I think if I did have one, I would find it way too incredibly sweet. Wondering how m any soda drinkers there are out there? I have always like Pellegrino and other sparkling waters so that is now my drink of choice. OK your turn to weigh in……

And there you have it, my Seven on Sunday. Again wishing all the moms out there a beautiful day, hoping you get to spend it exactly as you wish. It isn’t often we can claim rights to doing that, but if you are going to….today is certainly that day and I will be milking it until the very end:) Wishing you a wonderful Sunday, until next time…..

PS Though the presale is over you can still enter your name into the drawing for the porcelain giveaway (winner will be announced on Tues) click here to enter

HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY TO ALL LADIES WHO ARE EXPECTING AND RAISING CHILDREN. THE BEST PEOPLE IN THE WORLD WHO CAN MULTI-TASK ARE MOTHERS AND HOUSEWIVES. FOR EXAMPLE, TRY GETTING FOUR CHILDREN READY FOR SCHOOL IN THE MORNING, YOU READY FOR WORK, AND TO SEE YOUR HUSBAND OUT THE DOOR, NOW THAT REQUIRES SOME TALENT. WHY DOES NOT THE CORPORATE WORLD SEE THIS, AFTER ALL THEY CAME FROM MOTHERS TOO. HEY YOU EMPLOYERS, IF A MOTHER EVEN STAYED AT HOME RAISING CHILDREN AND POSSIBLY HOMESCHOOLING, THEN CHILDREN ARE OLD ENOUGH TO TAKE CARE OF THEMSELVES, AND THE MOTHER WANTS A JOB, HIRE AND TRAIN ONE, YOU MAY BE GETTING THE BEST PERSON YOU EVER HAD.

Happy Mother’s Day to you, Tina, and all the other mothers of the world. Your Seven on Sunday was so poignant and beautiful. My mother has been gone for sixteen years and I wish she was still living to see her grandchildren grow up and meet her great grandchildren. Those two videos were so sweet and I watched with tears running down my cheeks. Enjoy your day, Ladies.

Great, lovely post today. I love that you’re in your PB home, getting it settled and arranged. Good thing on the no soda. Now if I could only break my sweetened iced tea, I’d feel better too. Thanks for the blast of beauty!

Compliments to all who do recognize and acknowledge how much mothers give of themselves to their children. Why is it not recognized as the most important job in the world? To my mom, who now is in heaven, I thank you for all you have done for me.

Happy Mothers Day Tina.

Years ago I stop drinking cokes and didnt miss rhem at all but somehow fell back into drinking the little ones……

I gave up soda about 5 years ago and was unhappy to do so but had no choice because of a health issue. To make things a little more complicated I became gluten free, oat free, soy free and dairy free, didn’t want to do it but again had no choice. The learning curve was interesting but today I’m 20 pounds lighter and much healthier. In February after a long flight we landed and my hubby was starving so he stopped at a fast food drive in to get a burger. He talked me into having one and I learned a lesson I will never forget. One, it tasted terrible and two, it made me sick even though I didn’t eat much of it. What I know for sure? Well prepared, well chosen fresh food, taste better and won’t make you sick!
