Hello and Merry Christmas. Hard to believe the day so many of us wait all year for is here. For me, I am so looking forward to sharing the day with my family and enjoy a beautiful meal, each others company and hopefully some great movies:)

I wish I had I could bottle the spirit and magic of this season to enjoy on a regular basis when life feels like its running away from you (lately that would be often). Despite the frenzied pace, seemingly endless gift wrapping sessions, frantic supermarket trips, parking lot quandaries,  late nights decorating…it always somehow ends up  being the most magical day of the year!

Hope you enjoy this special day with those you love.   I want to say thank you for your friendship and support, you make what I do so rewarding and  a job I look forward to doing every single day. I feel incredibly blessed today for so many things, not the least of which is all of my amazing readers and customers. There were times I honestly just did not think I was going to pull this off this holiday, but in the end I did. Maybe I work better under pressure than I thought!

Since I was so late to decorate and only really stepped up my game the day before our Christmas party, I did not do a full designated post on my usual “decking the halls” so not a day too late, here is my home all decked out for Christmas.

And you know what? I like it so much, it just may stay this way for a while:) A big thank you to all of you, my readers who encourage and inspired me to do what I do every day! Wishing everyone a beautiful holiday and a very merry Christmas!

Started placing my various arrangments around the house in anticipation of our party and Christmas-

And on Christmas eve got the last of my gifts wrapped up and ready…..

And on Christmas eve, when the last of the decorations were done, the stockings were hung, the last dish put away and finally the very last gift wrapped, I sat down when everyone had gone up to sleep with a glass of champagne, in my toasty slippers, plopped myself in front of my tree and finally, gave myself a chance to exhale. I DID IT!!!! Cheers to a beautiful holiday and a fabulous 2019 ahead, Merry Christmas!
