Hi there, hope this finds you well an that everyone is having a good week. We may get a little snow today, but with three family members up in the air today flying to various places I hope it will not impact travel!  A little snow sounds kind of nice, I cannot lie:)

As much as  I love fall I have grown to dislike winter, it was one thing when the kids were young and we would go skiing on weekends, but as those days have passed I long for spring, summer and fall. One of my favorite things to do in the warmer months  is set an alfresco table for dinner or lunch. So I did a version of bringing an alfresco table indoors:)

As I shared with you last week, I got in part of my new wicker/basket weave line of products and it was love at first sight. I had to immediately set a table and just love how it looks against the crispness of the blue and white. I really like the way the texture of the pieces works against the porcelains. A friend is coming in from out of town for lunch next week and I decided to set the table a little early….why not!

So here is what I came up with. Really loving the new flatware and the oversized chunky hurricanes (shown without glass but they come with the glass inserts). All basket weave items shown are online (click here to see) except the hurricanes which should be here within about 10 days to 2 weeks. Will announce here when they (and many other pieces) arrive! So take a look at the table (and just imagine with food lol)………

I agree, dining alfresco is the best. How nice it will be when you can do so with your new, lovely designs. Stay warm.

It looks beautiful Tina! I am sure that your friend and fellow guests will love it! Safe travels to all who are traveling this week with all of the frigid temperatures.

Lovely table setting, just what we needed on this actual temp of -19 day! Looking forward to warm sunshine filled days outside!

Ah! You’ve just inspired me to get out of January a couple of days early and set my table with my blue-and-white wide striped cloth, ala Carolyne Rhoem. Instead of bamboo flatware, we really like our Blue Willow porcelain handled flatware from your studio shop. I usually layer blue woven placemats over the table cloth, then set out our Blue Willow dishes. No flowers? Then the soup tureen will do quite nicely, filled with a lobster/corn chowder.

Beautiful table setting! Nothing like setting a table. Very civilized! Blue and white my favourite.
How do you clean the wicker handles on the utensils?

Beautiful! People have lost the art of a gorgeous table ..thank you Tina ..keep showing us how it’s done
