Hello everyone and TGIF! Well we had a few teaser days where we crept well into the 60’s with bright skies and sun but today feels like we regressed right back into winter. Cold and going to be rainy……..no thanks.

It’s been a busy week which has been filled with lots of planning and plodding over new collections, our holiday collection (spectacular if I say so myself) and juggling that with other obligations. Busy but super productive week, so no complaints. But, I must admit I am happy the weekend is ahead for some much needed down time.

When I have a lot going on, I find it hard to sleep. No problem falling asleep but staying asleep is another story:)  Just wish I knew how to squeeze more hours in the day! Onwards with a recent recap on all that’s been happening-

After owning this bed for nearly 15 years (Julia Gray for EJ Victor) I am ready for a change. I want to do an upholstered bed and almost sure I will do it in this fabric which i have always loved (Sister Parish) Can’t wait!

Picked up flowers from a local market and decided to add some spring cheer to my mantle, always makes me happy:)

Love my blue and white shrine on bright sunny days!

Funny story about this dining room above- this was an edesign job I did a few years ago. Someone spotted it possibly on Pinterest and emailed me telling me this is exactly what they want for their new dining room in NYC. She said she did not want to look at anything else just to copy this exact room. Now that is my kind of client and the quickest and easiest job I have ever had 🙂

Fun city day….LOVED Ain’t Too Proud, all about the temptations. If you get the chance to go, you must as it is fantastic!

All done and sitting pretty even 5 days later (keeping the room cool helps)

You know my son is home when our center island fruit display looks like this!

Added bunnies, eggs and beautiful florals to my hallway chest (look below for a special offer on bunnies/eggs for readers of this post only)

Many have been asking about the tulipieres, which we have been sold out of for a while- getting a huge container in about 3 weeks with them plus another in May so we will soon be restocked! You can reserve yours here by doing a presale (click here)

I am obsessed with our new giftwrap! We got a few rolls in but our big shipment will be here in about 2-3 weeks, stay tuned:)

These above were wrapped up really pretty for a customers gift

In light of it almost being alfresco dining time, having fun coming up with new creations, here I was playing around with ideas for a small birthday lunch for a good friend

Had a friend visiting from France, always fun to spend a city afternoon with a visitor and see the city through their eyes…..Fish’s Eddie is such a  fun spot!

We finished with lunch at a favorite spot, Roman and Williams Guild-  it is so darn beautiful! Their incredible space makes the most beautiful pictures:) Emily Thompson does all their flowers………which are always showstopping!

Our home was featured as a Parade of Homes last weekend, here are a few pics from the event

Loved seeing some of Enchanted Home readers holding my postcard! Thanks for stopping in:)

Working on what will be a gorgeous project for a lucky customer, how gorgeous are these trims!

When your days are non stop, you need to stop and eat! My dear friend had me over for a quick lunch one day, and love how healthy she made everything. Always fun to sit down and catch up with one of your dearest friends:)

And this friends,  is the story of my dining room and a tablecloth. My table is very long (with the leaves) and unusually wide (53″) so there was no chance of finding a ready made tablecloth despite my persistence to find one. So I looked into finding fabric 108″ wide, and the pickings were slim. Then I found this and it was love at first sight. I bought an entire bolt on the spot (better deal) and when I brought it into my dining room I did a little happy dance….it was beyond perfect.

I will be having several tablecloths made from this for a limited time offering. The fabric is exquisite, a super pale blue/gray with subtle ivory embroidery (best part it looks like silk/linen but it’s a blend which can even be machine washed) major win!!

IN CELEBRATION OF SPRING-

And today an impromptu gift with purchase since many have been asking about the bunnies and eggs. In celebration of spring and Easter/Passover coming up here is a special for today and tomorrow-

So there you have the good, pretty and inspiring from the last week or so.  One day when I am old and gray, I think I will get such pleasure out of looking back on these posts and seeing life through the lens of my iPhone. I envy those young parents today who are so easily able to chronicle their child’s every move.

What a beautiful way to be able to preserve the memories of childhood! I think back to my own kids and remember how many hours I spent developing pictures, putting them in scrapbooks (only did for a few years then got lazy) and now I have boxes upon boxes of pictures and I keep vowing to go through them……one day!! Anyway thanks for stopping in, wishing you a fabulous day and great end to your week. Until next time……….

Great post, wonderful photo’s and that TABLECLOTH!!! I would love to purchase one as I am about to redecorate my dining room as well.

I wish you would share your pups name- so cute! Love the new photo of the dip in the pool!
Thank you for the new play suggestion. If The Midtown Men come to your area – go see them!! They are the original Broadway cast from Jersey Boys/ they play a myriad of songs from the 60’s- not just Jersey Boys songs- The Midtown Men is a great night out.

Beautiful captures. That bolt of exquisite fabric is breathtaking. I would love to purchase one goes with my color palette.

Loved all the blue bunnies and flowers, plus the tablecloth fabric find. It is lovely.

Is the wall in your dining room hand painted or paper? Absolutely jaw dropping! Love nature. The fabric is beyond gorgeous.

The mantle you created with the spring flowers is beyond cheerful and pretty!! And so is the custom tablecloth. I often do the same thing, buy fabric to make the cloth I can’t seem to find anywhere!

I’m vowing to go through my photos as well. Our older 20 somethings are the last generation to have photographs and that’s special. But I’m afraid it’s up to us to sort/preserve them or the photo tub will probably get tossed. I’m afraid future generations will never know what their greats even looked like! Thanks for sharing another pretty post

Hello dear Tina.. another great post!! Can’t wait to see what bed you choose. I’m off to check out your beauty files. Enjoy your weekend. xx

When might you do additional tablecloths? Such a gorgeous fabric! I would need a 72 inch round. Thanks!
