Hi everyone, I still cannot get over that it’s almost July 4th weekend. Where has this summer gone? It is the fastest summer for me, I am sure in large part due to the crazy last three months…thanks Covid. Feels like we skipped right over spring and landed into the middle of summer. Very strange year. Very. Trying to roll with it as best as possible.

Anyway July 4th marking our nations independence is always such a fun summer holiday time…to me, it is synonymous with abundant long days of sunshine, red white and blue, picnics, fireworks, flags and kicking back. I know I am very much looking forward to relaxing for a few days, much needed.  Just a fun little patriotic post today celebrating our red, white and blue.  Maybe something might inspire you here to do a little setup of you own. How do you like to celebrate July 4th?

These put me in the mood to set up a patriotic little something and of course make me incredibly proud to be American!  I only hope and pray for smoother and healing days ahead for our beautiful country as it’s heartbreaking to see the peril we are in. I hope everyone has a smooth start to the long holiday weekend and hope the sun is shining. Thanks for stopping in, until next time…..

I love your take on red, white and blue, For us we will be at our lake house which is a family tradition for over 10 years now where we will gather to celebrate our beautiful country and spend quality time with family. I might want to attempt to re-create that darling dessert you posted?

So glad to hear you say you are “proud to be an American”. May we come through this perilous time stronger.

All the beautiful red, white & blue decor is so fun and festive. I love all the photos!

Such an uplifting post. We all need this sort of thing… Now more than ever. God bless America.

I’ve done more this year for the 4th than I ever have before. Don’t know why that is. I have really enjoyed doing it, and I’m not done yet. I plan to sew up some simple pillows for the porch swing and rocking chairs today. I’d better get busy.

Thank you these pictures make me feel helpful I’m so disturbed about what is going on in our country my flag is going out on the highway today I live a half mile from it happy Fourth of July

I was uninspired until now!!! My children and grandchildren will not be able to come to my lake house ~ Thanks Covid ~ but I put my flag out on the deck over the water and suddenly I feel inspired to do a watermelon ? flower flag arrangement and make some special cherry pie ? with American flags ??

I have a daughter born on the 4th of July, so it is EXTRA special celebrating at our home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
God, Country and Natalie Marie !

It was one of your previous posts that inspired me to display small U.S. flags in a floral centerpiece or poked into planters on the front porch. This year, on Memorial Day (the REAL one), I inserted a pair into a floral arrangement on my front door.

YES! WE ALL NEED TO BE THANKFUL TO LIVE IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA! NOT EVERYONE IN THIS WORLD HAS FREEDOM!!! GOD BLESS AMERICA

Thank-you for this inspiring post, you reminded me , I bought flags in April, thanks I’m adding them to our beautiful front porch, on our new home… we just moved to the Midwest from NY! Happy fourth?❤️???????????
