Hello and happy Sunday to you! Hope you are having a wonderful weekend wherever you might be. Hopefully will be at my parents fo a few days and then a few days for some much needed downtime in my happy place, Palmetto Bluff.

Days are flying by and I cannot believe we are already in the fall, the holiday madness is just around the corner. Wouldn’t mind being able to push a pause button right about now:) Onward to my Sunday post……

1 NEW PRODUCTS COMING IN! So excited over these fabulous new porcelain pieces. Just in perfect timing for holiday entertaining!

Bud vases are super popular. Everyone has room for one (or 2 or 3 or 6)! They are prefect for smaller areas or gorgeous clustered together in the middle of a dining table. We are bringing back our original five but also bringing them back in a softer blue and a solid white.  Cannot wait (they are on the way and due here in 3 weeks)

Very excited over this beauty!!! LOVE this footed blue and white centerpiece bowl which as is, is stunning but also could be gorgeous filled with flowers! Will be offered in 2 sizes and in solid white! Coming in 3 weeks.

And some of our all time best sellers will be back in stock in about 2-3 weeks, these fabulous bird garden seats, pheasant ginger jar and a our extra large village scene bowl

2 ONE FABULOUS HOME! Love the graciousness of this elegant home that feels like going back in time. That front porch! I would never want to leave. I love how steeped in history it feels, like nothing was ever touched though it was.

It went through a makeover both on the property and in the interiors but it was done with the utmost integrity to preserve the heritage of this old property. Just so well done. Click here to see more over at  Atlanta Homes Magazine.

6 LOVE FALL? Then this is for you.I thought this video was so beautiful, highlighting the very best of the glorious fall foliage!

6 ONE DELICIOUS SOUP!  Soup season is upon us though I make and eat soup year round. I love soup, its so satisfying and tasty, I especially like a hearty soup that can double as a meal. This one is a winner! I doubled up on it the second time I made it to be sure I had backup in the freezer. This is a good one, thanks Ina Garten!

  • 4 split (2 whole) chicken breasts, bone in, skin on
  • Good olive oil
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 cups chopped yellow onions (2 onions)
  • 1 cup chopped celery (2 stalks)
  • 2 cups chopped carrots (4 carrots)
  • 4 large garlic cloves, chopped
  • 2-1/2 quarts chicken stock, preferably homemade
  • 1 (28-ounce) can whole tomatoes in puree, crushed
  • 2 to 4 jalapeno peppers, seeded and minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander seed
  • 1/4 to 1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro (optional)
  • 6 (6-inch) fresh white corn tortillas
  • To Serve:
  • Sliced avocado
  • Sour cream
  • Grated Cheddar cheese
  • Tortilla chips

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.  Place the chicken breasts skin side up on a sheet pan.  Rub with olive oil, sprinkle with salt and pepper, and roast for 35 to 40 minutes, until done.  When the chicken is cool enough to handle, discard the skin and bones, and shred the meat.  Cover and set aside.

Meanwhile, heat 3 tablespoons of olive oil in a large pot or Dutch oven.  Add the onions, celery, and carrots and cook over medium-low heat for 10 minutes, or until the onion starts to brown.  Add the garlic and cook for 30 seconds.  Add the chicken stock, tomatoes with their puree, jalapenos, cumin, coriander, 1 tablespoon salt (depending on the saltiness of the chicken stock), 1 teaspoon pepper, and the cilantro, if using.  Cut the tortillas in half, then cut them crosswise into ½-inch strips and add to the soup.  Bring the soup to a boil, then lower the heat and simmer for 25 minutes.  Add the shredded chicken and season to taste.  Serve the soup hot topped with sliced avocado, a dollop of sour cream, grated Cheddar cheese, and broken tortilla chips.

Love, love all your recipes. Is there a way you can make these recipes easy for printers? Screen grabs don’t always work well.

A wonderful post to read as always. I have actually made her chicken tortilla soup and it is delicious, it’s actually a family favorite.
I hope you will start offering the holiday product sooner than later, I think I speak for a lot of us when I say that Covid has many of us anxious to celebrate the holidays so they cannot be available too soon! The house you featured is beautiful I could live on that front porch!

Hello! I’ve been following you for some time here and on Instagram, but this is the first time posting. I’m wondering if the current supply/chain crisis will effect the availability of your products? I’m a big fan of your style and joie de vivre. ❤️😊
