Hello! Hope you are enjoying some nice fall watcher wherever you may be. Around here the temps are starting to dip and I have started going through my sweater collection, always a sure sign fall is here and a time of year I greatly anticipate.

I also have started adding small touches around the house to transition form summers easy breezy looks to more autumn inspired decor. Nothing life changing by any stretch, have done things in small windows as time has allowed. So here is a peek at fall around. here…..

ย I put one of my new tablecloths on my center hall table added pumpkins and little bud vases with rust colored mums and must say I love the effect

Something about the crisp white against the play of blue and white and rust

The cherry blossoms will soon be replaced with magnolia

Added some fresh greens from the yard to my mantle with white pumpkins

LOVE setting. table with our new Carolyne Roehm dinnerware!! We have already placed a second reorder!

Though I love white flowers these rust colored mums are really doing it for me this year

Love adding a simple mum to a gift (wrapped in your gorgeous Carolyne Roehm lily of the valley paper)

I couldn’t stand looking at my big vase of lilacs though I love them they felt so wrong for the season, but I was underwhelmed visiting my local nurseries, they were depleted and did not anticipate getting much in (the supply chain is C R A Z Y out of control( I will attest! So I went into my yard, cut whatever I could find that seemed like it could work and started just putting it all together. Perfectly imperfect:)

Put it on my foyer chest and loved the effect.

Then added my pumpkins and some more leaves, yes fall has arrived!!

And though I know fall is the season of color, I am always drawn to white mums. I do it every year…why change a good thing?

Maybe the very best part of fall is looking outside my bedroom window and seeing these two creatures out and about

And that’s what fall is looking like over here. Nothing crazy but small subtle touches that celebrate this beautiful season. How about you? What are your favorite ways to add a little fall to your home? I want to savor fall and enjoy Thanksgiving before I even think about Christmas.

However to look at Instagram you would think Christmas is next week…..cannot believe how many have their homes fully decorated. To each his own but for me personally, I like to enjoy each season as they come. I think I will put my tree up later this month so I can enjoy it for at least a few months,ย  as it’s a lot of work!

Thanks for stopping by, wishing everyone a fabulous day. Until next time……

Tina, I have to say that I’m glad the nursery didn’t have anything-the freshness and simplicity of what was in your yard that you used really shows the glory of fall and it doesn’t need anything else-gorgeous!
