Hi and happy Saturday!  hope you are well and had a great week. We are doing a massive warehouse cleanup this weekend, we are normally closed on weekends, but its all hands on deck this weekend and next to get our warehouse in shape. We have gotten in many shipments recently and are kind of at full capacity, so this was called for. I love that feeling of getting organized and though it will take some time….we are on the way!

I have a number of things I have created that I am particularly proud of. One of them is absolutely my tulipiere collection. I have spoken often about how I debated on buying a pair from Holland but when they gave me the shipping price, the total price was that of a small car so I decided against them. Thus, began the wheels turning of creating my own. I took various design elements from a few antique porcelain pieces I own and created my first tulipiere sample, dubbed “the original” in three sizes.

It was love at first sight:) I then introduced another pattern, and soon after  a solid white. We then we added pink and green a few months ago. And as the holidays approached, I had a vision for them in  a beautiful brick red, which is particularly charming for the holidays (and Valentine’s Day)!   Every time I “play” with them, I forget how much joy I get creating with them. They always add a finishing touch wherever they are used and most definitely have the wow factor. So here’s a look at a few  arrangements I have done through the years in celebration of tulipieres!

Just so happens, all ginger jars and tulipieres are 20% off until tonight (use code ginger). So here is a look at me and my tuliperes over the years…..

I think Whole Foods always has a nice selection of market flowers, inexpensive and always something to grab. They are a go to when I am in a pinch

All you need is to add water to each section, get your shears and go to town!

These purple and whites against the vibrant blue is really striking!

One down one to go

All done!

In this case placed them on my mantle along with one of our midsized jars….really love the way it looks!

Then added our cherry blossom Staffordshire dogs which just came back in stock finally!

And then we introduced our pink village scene tulipieres!

In this case I took our large village scene tulipieres and used the soft roses received as a gift from Grace Rose Farm

The softness of the this palette is just dreamy

How pretty does it look next to our lotus jar? Love the tones of this vignette

I enjoyed these for days, made me happy every time I walked in to my house:)

One  of my favorite settings, a vision in blue, white and yellow

I was so in love with this, I wanted to freeze frame it and keep it like this forever, the peach tones worked so beautifully with the magnolia in this fall vignette

And here is the red which I love especially for the holidays and Valentines Day of course:)

And this you might remember from a alfresco table I set up outside, I really loved the way this came out, above are the new green with small clusters of pink hydrangeas

And here is the pink with small clusters of white hydrangeas

Proof that literally any flower of any color can work with these tulipieres!!

The tulips also look amazing if you leave them long stemmed and they drop loosely in all directions. My mom purchased your tulipieres and did an arrangements with them and it was amazing for my sons wedding. Wish I had a picture to share!

I am missing our alfresco suppers, but we’re still in the “dead of winter” in early February. Even Sunday dinners are set at the kitchen table. However, the sun’s out all weekend! We’ll move to the dining room tomorrow with faux florals in blue & white porcelain.
