I am sorry if I disappointed anyone with not posting my Dad’s “Saturdays with my Dad” post yesterday, it was a travel day and just didn’t have time to get it up. But you can count on it being there next Saturday for sure!

Hope you are enjoying a nice weekend. If all goes according to plan, we will be in Palmetto Bluff this weekend checking on the house progress. Hopefully I will have a bunch of new and exciting developments to share with you.

Onward to my post this weekend…

1 MY CUSTOMER’S PHOTOS I am always so excited and in awe of how gorgeous our customer’s homes are featuring our products. We love getting you pictures so keep them coming. Here are some recent ones-

2 AN EASY PEASY GREEK SALAD So many of you asked for it and honestly it is so easy and unbelievably delicious with fish, chicken, just about anything. You could even make it a main meal with a few wedges of toasted pita bread.

  • 2-3 cartons of egg tomatoes or something similiar
  • one pack of Kirby/Persian cucumbers (normally 5 to a pack)
  • 1/2 red onion
  • 1 block of good quality feta cheese
  • Italian parsley
  • 1 yellow and 1 red bellpepper (or any color you like)
  • 1/2 jar Kalamata olives (more if you like
  • lemon juice
  • Olive oil
  • salt and pepper
  • oregano

Cut the tomatoes in half, peel your cucumber and cut into 1/2″ slices, cut the bellpper into 1/2″ cubes.  Add chopped red onion. Add about 3 tbsp of chopped parsley. Add olives chopped in half (I use about a half jar) Add a dash or oregano (to taste) Salt and pepper. Add olive oil and lemon to taste (I keep mine always mixed in the refrigerator as I use it for almost every salad and fish) Dress to taste. I always add the cheese last to not make it soggy. The cheese is cut into 1/2″ cubes. Once fully mixed, sprinkle a generous amount of oregano on top. Can be made. few hours ahead or time, I would hold off dressing the salad and adding cheese until you are ready to serve in that case.

3 INSTAGRAMS OF INTEREST Just a beautiful round up of beauty and inspiration this Sunday……

4 A BEAUTIFUL HOME TOUR BY THE POTTED BOXWOOD This is a really good one, such an elegant gracious welcoming home.

5 A NEW SKINCARE PRODUCT I AM LOVING I have been on a skincare binge lately. I have found a few products I am actually really liking a lot. I am finally starting to take my skincare seriously. I am not 20 anymore and realize I can no longer depend upon having genetically “good skin”.

This super rich emollient balm is fabulous for dry skin. Mine drinks it right up. I use it at night after putting on the retinol drops by The Ordinary. It is rich and to anyone who does not have dry skin, they would find it greasy but I love it and use it every night.Loaded with so many nourishing ingredients.  Click here to visit Maya Chia.

These glycolic acid wipes are so good to exfoliate and leave your skin baby smooth. I use them about 3 times a week on average. I found mine on Amazon. Click here to see more.

6 OUR NEW EASTER EGGS AND BUNNIES! The response to these has been tremendous. So happy you liked them. It made all those sleepless nights when I had eggs and bunnies running through my head, worth it!  I adore them and we still have some for sale under presale. Click here to see them and to preorder yours!

7 SUNDAY’S SURVEY I am just curious how many of you have had an uncannily strange and mild winter. We have had more than 5-6 days of days over 60 degrees in FEBRUARY! Not a flake of snow and for the most part, a very mild winter where many days I was able to walk outside with a sweater and a vest, only wore a heavy coat, scarf , etc..a handful of times. It is S T R A N G E. I am not loving it and am craving a beautiful snow day. Just one, then I am happy to skip into spring. Curious what things are like over in your neck of the woods?

I’m so happy that you will continue to post the wonderful “Saturdays with Dad”.
I am an 85 year old widow and throughly enjoy all of the postings. Your

I am trying that salad today! placed my egg and bunny order – so excited for them.
Your Sunday posts are always a highlight of my day😊

Hope you are having a wonderful time in PB. I missed your dads post, I will look for it next week.
Love the little bunny napkin rings!

I absolutely love everything on your beautiful posts! All is charming and lovely!! I want to “jump into every room and live in each one!” SO warm and engulfing 🫶💛!!

consider the paint color NANTUCKET FOG if house is to remain white. I like the notion of glass panels but not anyone of the recent ones you posted. Keep looking its out there. Like someone once said you know it when you see it.

Whatever door you choose will be lovely. Trust your instinct! You have such a good eye, “you” won’t let “you” down. I do enjoy seeing Georgian architecture and love Bath in England for it’s gorgeous buildings and they have some pretty doors with glass panels. Check out online images of Doors of Bath – the Royal Crescent maybe.
