Hello and happy Friday! Been a busy week and I am looking forward to a few down days over the weekend. Got the chinoiserie tole and Provence planter container yesterday which was very exciting and orders have started going out. All will be shipped out by Monday for any of you who have placed an order. For those who missed out, we will hold a one day sale on either Monday or Tuesday so stay tuned:) It is all beautiful, literally heart palpitation worthy:)

Anyway periodically I share my life as seen though the life of my iPhone. Not much narration needed, so here is a look at this past  two weeks or so……

These first batch of pictures are all about Mexico, first to Tulum for a gorgeous wedding then off to Cancun for a few days to chill in the sun

First day in Tulum, eating lunch by the ocean was sooooo very nice

I must say my rooftop deck of our beautiful room was the kind I never ever wanted to leave, I could have stayed there the entire week!!! (above and below)

Shopping in Tulum (very boho chic) ideal for 20-30 year olds:)

Snapshots from the absolutely magnificent wedding- (didn’t get to take as many as I would have liked but you get the idea)!

Back at our hotel, loved these little thatch hut drinks stations located out and about for the hotel guests-

Then the last two days we headed to Cancun and let me tell you this hotel,  Nuzuc was AMAZING, so so beautiful, highly recommend-

My son joined us and surely was enjoying the view from the room…..beautiful!

This above is when you enter their lobby…breathtaking!

Then before I knew it, it was back to reality! Getting back to what I love doing:)

My beautiful prints arrived and got hung

Few things excite me like fabric and trim playing!!! These are both for in the works projects

One afternoon it was in the high 50’s, hardly warm but it was warm enough to get me to venture outside and daydream about being in the great outdoors again, getting all my throw pillows out,etc…..

And added these beautiful faux forsythia branches to m y kitchen they added so. much pretty color and spring cheer!

Love our new foo dog ginger jars!

Above and below, working on a very exciting design job in NYC….it is going to be stunning. Above is the family room ideas so far

Then spent the afternoon in the city and had such fun, there is so much inspiration and beauty with every step-

How gorgeous is the facade of Hill House Home…..fabulous!

Then we went to Roman and Williams…..it is breathtaking (same designers who designed Le Cou Cou) great place for a quick bite, so appealed to my aesthetic

Met my son who convinced me to navigate my way throgh the narrow and super busy streets of Chinatown so he could go and buy a bunch of his favorite exotic fruit like below…have you ever!

In anticipation of the long awaited much buzzed about melamine…it is coming in next week and I found the perfect linens for the blue/white/green set! I also just yesterday found a. beautiful set of the orange/blue/white set…stay tuned! Cannot wait to get this in!

So much gorgeousness Tina. The wedding looked incredible..what a fun place to tie the knot. And your home always is a sight for sore eyes, just beautiful. Your NYC pictures make me miss being there….what a great city!

I also would like to know the source of the rug! It is perfect for my friend’s home!! Please share.

Never feel guilty about getting time away. We can all use a little TLC. Glad you had a great time. The surroundings are beautiful.

Dragon Fruit…beautiful. Hi Tina thank you for sharing dreamy. Have a lovely weekend. Till next time Esther from Sydney. PS people grow this fruit in their back yards over here…something to do with our weather.

A beautiful few weeks! We are going to Tulum in Sept for my nephews wedding and look forward. La Zebra was one of the two recommended hotels, your room looks like a dream.
I loved all your musings, and the NYC pictures reminded me of what a great city it really is. I attended NYU then taught there until I was in my early 30’s then moved to Dallas where my husband is from. We try to get to NY once or twice a year. Wonderful post.

I received my giveaway prize in the mail! Thank you so much ? Tina, I just love the gorgeous vase!

I know a few people have already asked but would you please share the source for the rug?
