Hope all is well and that you are having a nice weekend. Here, quiet but relaxing, and most certainly not complaining. At a time when there is so much suffering in our world, quiet is a good thing.

We have had such a flurry of activity over at our warehouse, so. many beautiful things are happening and it’s most definitely a bright spot! My business has been a savior in diverting my attention to positive pretty things and that is not lost on me, believe me. Getting our big porcelain container this coming week and many other things to follow. You are always the first to know and see so stay tuned:)

Here we go with this weeks Seven on Sunday…..

1 NEW PRODUCTS ON THE HORIZON Hold onto your hats for some incredibly gorgeous new lamps! I think despite how it’s started,  2021 is going to be a good year at least on making our homes more beautiful:) We have gotten so many exquisite items lately with so much more coming. Here is just a peek of all kinds of spectacular things coming. These lamps will be here sometime between end of Feb- first week of March.

We are greatly expanding on our tole lamps which we do very well with. Just in love with these new styles and literally want to find a room for each and every one of these!!  These lamps have me wanting to do some serious redecorating:)

2 CITY LINE HYDRANGEAS I am obsessed with this particular hydrangea. I have bought them in the past and they are simply spectacular and very hardy. I located the grower and have ordered some for spring…cannot wait! Thought I would share in case any other flower lover/gardener out there might be interested. I have preordered mine and am envisioning big beautiful ginger jars filled with these beauties:)

Now just imagine the above with a gorgeous blue and white vase or planter!

3 INSTAGRAMS OF INTEREST No theme in particular,  just instagrams that inspire and make you smile. I will take it:)

4 SIMPLY AND DELICIOUS FISH I love fish and we eat it at least 1-2 times a week. Sometimes the simpler dishes are the best and most satisfying. This is from Ina Garten and is a  simply prepared salmon with loads of flavor. I served mine with rice pilaf and the broccolini. Healthy without compromising on flavor and super easy. This also works well for lunch as it can be served room temp and still taste delicious!

  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil or olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce, such as Kikkoman
  • 1½ tablespoons pure maple syrup (I added just a drop)
  • 2 teaspoons toasted sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon minced fresh ginger
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic (3 cloves)
  • ¼ teaspoon hot red pepper flakes
  • 4 skinless salmon fillets (2 to 2 ½ pounds total)
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 pound broccolini, lower third of the stems discarded
  • Steamed white basmati rice or rice pilaf

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.  Arrange two racks evenly spaced in the oven.

In a small saucepan, combine the vegetable oil, soy sauce, maple syrup, sesame oil, ginger, garlic, and hot red pepper flakes. Bring to a boil over medium heat, lower the heat and simmer for 3 minutes. Set aside off the heat.

Arrange the salmon fillets, rounded sides up, in a baking dish just large enough to hold them with a little space in between the fillets.  Sprinkle the salmon with 1 teaspoon salt and ½ teaspoon pepper and spoon the soy sauce mixture evenly over the fillets. Roast the salmon for about 12 minutes for rare and 15 minutes for medium, depending on the thickness of the fillets.

Meanwhile, prepare the broccolini. Place the broccolini on a sheet pan, drizzle it with 4 tablespoons olive oil, sprinkle with salt and pepper, and toss with your hands. Ten minutes before the salmon is done, roast the broccolini on the second oven rack until crisp/tender.

Divide the hot rice between 4 shallow bowls and top each with a salmon fillet

5 SOUTHEASTERN SHOWHOUSE This is a beauty, the inside was much more modern than I expected and though I could personally  never see me in a black. kitchen, I think it was well done. The backyard wth that sunken area…wow!! Here is the video tour

6 A NEW PLANTER I AM OVER THE MOON ABOUT. I have had this idea floating in my head for years. It is finally happening:) A LARGE footed planter big enough for big plants, tall topiaries, etc…..these beauties will be offered in three sizes 18″ 22″ and 24″, I am soooo excited about getting these!

I did  a little photoshopping to get a visual and needless to say I already have a few spots already designated for these! I am also waiting on a sample in green/white. These are now, I am elated to say,  in production and hope to physically have them here early March just in time for spring!

And here is a board showing how exquisite these will be filled with tall topiaries and planters! Cannot wait!!

7 SEVENS SURVEY This week two really easy peasy simple non Covid related mini polls to answers. We sell a lot of lamps, 95% of the lamps we sell are bases only. Now that we are really ramping up our lamp collection, thinking we should star selling them complete with the lamp shade and finial. Thoughts?

We can either sell just base or base and shade separately or both together, complete package. Thoughts?

What a beautiful post! I love everything from top to bottom but I am obsessed with your new lamps and the new large planter, I want 2 for my front door by spring!! When will all these New items be in stock?
I loved your Instagram pics as well thank you.

Everything is beyond beautiful and I agree I think thanks to you, homees in 2021 will never look better😊

I just came across your web site and blog from a small advertisement in one of my favorite home magazines, and I love, love everything, as you can tell I am purchasing a few things right away and can’t wait for more. Also I found many of your Sunday Instagram inspirations to be truly inspirational, including the recipe and the adorable doggie pictures- I will also be copy catting a few of the decorating ideas. Greatly for the fun you’ve brought me. All the best, Helen

Good Morning Tina, happy weekend. Congrats Robin H. 😁🎊🎉 these wicker pitchers are just darling. I can’t wait for the wicker bed trays🤩

My Sunday mornings are not complete without a cup of coffee and your blog. I have salmon in the refrigerator and can’t wait to try that yummy recipe! I always get some kind of inspiration from reading your blog and today is no exception.

The instagram photos were adorable, especially with the puppy asleep on top of its mother and the white Yorkies peeping out under the white flowers. Animals are the best, next to grandchildren, of course.

I, too, can’t wait for Spring 2021 to plant flowers and maybe get one or two of your new planters. Love the new lamps too, especially the blush pink.

Oh, my…that “Show House” video was fabulous!!! So glad you include…being “rural” we have hardly any bandwidth so cannot stream, etc. This was SO fun!! franki

These Sunday post are the best part of my Sundays. Thank you for including the link for the hydrangeas those are so beautiful. Our florist will occasionally carry that variety but they are quite costly per stem so I love the idea of being able to plant my own in my garden!!

The lamps are beautiful and that big new chinoiserie planter is a must have!

Beautiful post

I don’t why, but this post was one of your best…!! All of them are great, but this one… wow.. Looking forward to the new planter… Great design.. And I’m definitely going to try that salmon recipe: just bought some and your recipe looks delicious..
Keep warm..

Love the footed planters. Also liked many of the instagram pictures. I am usually able to pin to my Enchanted Home board. It would not let me today. After I click on the blue ginger jar and select my board, I receive a message “Sorry! This site does not allow you to save pins.” The salmon looks delicious. All of Ina’s recipes are so good.
