Hi there…..I might be able to make it into the Guinness book of world records with how fast I went through this show. I normally like to go for one or two FULL leisurely??(whats that again)?days and stroll along taking in all the fun, excitement and newness of whats hot in the marketplace. This time, I was challenged to ?barely ?be able to carve out not a full day but close to it to attend and was relieved for this little reprise from every day chaos!!
?Well, I will have you know I was on the phone more than I was looking at the great goods around me, and finally a few hours later when I started feeling the pressure of not being around the house with so much happening while I heavens forbid indulge my design whims, I went with my gut instincts which told me to get back. ?Boo hoo. So after a short less than 3 hour stint at the show….off I trotted to the construction site. But all was not lost, I made sure to find a few goodies before I packed it in..and below are a few of the highlights that I personally loved that appealed to me on this whirlwind with?a capital W, tour!
Love signage?and these from Spicher are just great…….
Their wonderful looking booth
You know my love for blue and white….love this tray and figurines
OK, don’t have a beach house but if I did I would so get these, love the antiqued mirror frames too
Thought these antique botanicals in pale blue and neutrals could be pretty for my sitting room
Close up, love the antiqued mirror frame
Mr. Brown always looks good, love that moss green velvet sofa
Never met a blue and white jar I didnt’ love!
Beautiful display…love the worn patina
Great lantern for an outdoor porch
These were really pretty, I thought a pair on a console for the holidays?
And the cooridinating single ball too, would be pretty on a stack of old books
Some of their other goodies

I normally don’t like the containers but this one was quite pretty
This is fun for a kitchen
OK I fell in love with these and ordered them for my bedroom. If I end up not using them there, know I will surely find a happy home for these beauties!
These were so unique, shadow boxes that were huge, averaged sized 4×5, they were very well done, not right for my house but beautifully done, first time at show.

For a home that has a Tuscan theme (they will even allow you to send in your own bottles if you have favorites or want to make up labels with your name on them, etc….)

For a cozy, rustic farmhouse kitchen, so pretty!
This was going to be a joke, I was going to tell you that to switch things up a bit, I am using these as my new dining room chairs, how funny is this!
Loved this beautiful chair
Beautiful at a ladies writing desk or in a bathroom
Always drawn to the fresh appeal of blue and white

Love a collection of white ginger jars and pottery
I liked these and thought the navy was quite beautiful too!
Love this tall cake dome from Abigails..one of my favorite lines!
The etching makes it looks so vintage and antique-y.
Chelsea’s display….
Pretty bench for the foot of a bed, love the pillows too
Beautiful chairs from Chelsea
Love this bench, featured it the other day
I love the embroidered pillows against the gingham
Great looking trio of chests
OK fell in love with this butchers block! You know I want one!

How beautiful is this monogram chair from Tara Shaw? Love!

Really liked this oversized beige linen tufted ottoman

The whole booth was beautiful and charming in all its neutral splendor
So that’s my mini wrap up of the show. It was fun (well for the three hours I was there, two of which I think were spent on the phone) but am glad I got to go and see all the beautiful new goodies. What was your favorite item I showed here? Did you go and if so what were you loving? Love to know…wishing you a wonderful day!

Hi Sweets!
I didn’t know the Gift Show is open to the public…maybe you have a business pass? Regardless, how can I get in with you next time? I really would love it is you led a group tour! You know, telling us the brands you like, the trends, lines with staying power!!!

I have several Kolene Spicher at my beachhouse and I LOVE them!!!

You have such an amazing eye! I LOVE everything you highlighted, but most of all I love that chair! How beautiful in your suite?

Also, can anyone order from the vendors?

Love this post!!

xoxo, Wendy

Hi Tina, I absolutely love that trio of chests and those mirrored antiqued frames. Wishing you a great weekend!!!

Love, Kristin

Hi again Tina, I just read your comment and I just have to say you have the most wonderful way of writing. It is so encouraging and did you ever consider to write a book? Well…guess I just wanted to say thank you for your sweet comment and have a lovely weekend!!!

Love, Kristin

I used to go to the show with my brother, who had a booth…. it truly was like being a kid in a candy store. I would have to make about 5 loops in order to see everything…. and then another 5 to whittle down to the things I really “needed”. Need being a relative word, of course!!!
Such wonderful memories!!!!

Wow what fun! I went three years ago and had a ball, my feet not so much!
Love your new lamps and all the prints, also like the greenery for the holidays, all lovely choices!

Tina, – what vendor was it that had the blue ladies writing chair -it was so darling, I would love to find a retailer that bought it – thanks for the tour!! It was great!!

LOVED the blue and white jars, would love to add to my collection! Also loved the mirrored framed prints, the shells and the botanicals. Beautiful ladies chair. I would ahve had to TEAR myself away!!!!!!!!!! XO, Pinky

Tan, the lamps you ordered are gorgeous! I absolutely love them. And the display of white gInger jars…beautiful. So many things I loved…I agree, I’d need at least two days there! I’m going to try to go to the next one…looks like heaven to me!
Stacy

Omg, it’s 12:30 at night, and I’ve been at the county fair for almost 11 hours with a bunch of ten year olds, so PLEASE forgive me for calling you “Tan”… It was autocorrect. When will I learn to proofread? One time I actually wrote a swear on Amy’s blog, by accident of course. You’d think I would have learned…… 🙂
Xo Stacy

Tina! You crack me up going to this thing, on the phone, and worrying about what’s going on at your house! I don’t know how you do it all!? Also, thank you thank you, a very belated thank you for the blog award!! Is there a time limit on that thing? I’m totally stressed out trying to figure out how to sound fun and smart answering those questions! Plus I have posts of homes and gardens and the owners are waiting for their posts to be posted!
I do so appreciate your recognition though!!
Jan

i don’t think that there has been one time that you have featured something i didn’t love.
ever though of becoming a buyer for a major furniture company?
you would rock their world!!!
xxx

Thanks for sharing your trip with us! That booty chair was sooo funny! Who would think of spending time to create that? hahaha!! I loved everything else but I really loved the monogrammed chair and the chair for the bathroom or desk.

Tina,

I don’t know, but it seems we have very similar taste. There’s nothing that I don’t like here! everything is so classic, w/ the exception of that “look-at-my-behind-chair”! 🙂

Thank you for sharing this with us. Had so much fun seeing these images today!

Enjoy your weekend!

Hi Tina,
sounds like a fun show…I used to do the shows but it’s been a long time..sometimes I miss them mostly I don’t..way more fun to look at someone elses pics of the show!!!! love the ginger jars and Chelsea textiles…both classics..
best,
maureen

Love your choices. Isn’t the artwork amazing. So many of those pictures I’d love to have in my house. It’s just getting it all to Australia that’s the challenge. Don’t know how you managed to do it in three hours. Took me two full days and then I didnt see everything. Shame we couldn’t hook up there, would have loved to meet you!

Oh Tina…you continue to amaze us! How you have time to do all the things you do and still post about your adventures is an amazing talent!

We adore Tara Shaw! She has a showroom not far from us in New Orleans and another in Houston. We love to go and just be inspired and amazed by her talent! Gorgeous monogrammed chair!

Have a wonderful weekend…can’t wait to see your home update.

Big Hug,
Renee and Angela

Laughing about autocorrect from Stacy! That was quite fun~I am wondering if you were tempted on the tray table…gorgeous! Loved the lamps and sooo many other things there.

WOW! I am swept off my feet by some of these vendors’ offerings! I need to find that blue & white tray/table with the 3 blue & white figurines sitting on it. I don’t think I can LIVE without it! So beautiful! And your new lamps are the BOMB!!! Nice work here for a scant 3 hours! Thank you for sharing!

Love that butchers block!! Did you get it? I can see it in your kitchen, actually love everything show, the blue and white, the pretty chairs and all the prints. Great holiday greens too in those pretty urns. You have a very very good eye for all things beautiful and elegant.
LP

So many things that I would love to place in my home. I really love anything by Tara Shaw since her items, new and old, fit in any home. Looks like a great show so sorry you couldn’t spend more time there but your house calls…lucky you!

There’s not a thing I don’t like here…It would be very dangerous for me to go to this show, I would need a truck to bring everything back, lol!!!

Just think that by this time next year, your house will be done and all you will have to do is stroll leisurely through and buy accessories for your lovely castle.

Just think of how much time you’ll get to spend at the gift show next year…days!!! The house will be done and in need of a few more accents and pretties…it will be wonderful!
I *love* the Spicher goodies…the dog art would have been snatched up immediately!

I just read the post about the amazing progress on your house too…best of luck tomorrow with the inspection…can’t wait to see all the work that was done over the weekend…hang in there, you’re almost HOME!
xo J~

Hi, Tina, The mirrored framed botanicals are beautiful, as are the ginger-jar lamps you chose for your bedroom. In fact, anything blue and white is just fine with me. I also love the Chelsea bench with six legs — I own it and it looks great at the end of my guest room bed. I have been pining for Tara Shaw’s monogrammed chair since she introduced it, but I have to save my pennies. This show was on my to-do list each year when I had my shops in NY, but now, sadly, it is too far from Florida. I am anxious to see all the items you chose in your new home. Good luck this week.
Victoria

Can you please tell me who makes the beautiful, litle blue chair with round cushion? Thanks

I saw so much of that at the show in Atlanta….you love everything I love 🙂 Glad you got to go if only for a few hours and to get those beautiful lamps for your bedroom!!!

love all the items you’re showing, looking for a cane headboard, did you see anything like it, i know it was the gift show but i love that cane bench and the chairs stunning, and abigails is just what i love too

I have done the NYIGF in a time crunch, but I don’t think I could do Pier 94 in 3 hours! Amazing. I love the chairs with derrière inset. Don’t laugh, but I think I have a client who would love a pair! Can you source them for me?
Great job!

Peças maravilhosas, como eu não consigo arranjar, aqui em Portuga, o que lamento.
Maria Manuela Bigail

One of my favorites was the tray! Second would be the chair you thought would be pretty at a ladies desk or in a bathroom. Thanks for sharing.
