A reminder that the last day to place holiday orders for my online shop is this Sunday, Dec. 15th

Well hello there….hope you are doing well. Snow is falling here…so it feels like the festive season is official:)  I had intended to post on my holiday decor but alas I am not quite ready and have yet to take pictures (hopefully tomorrow). I think its safe to say the Christmas chaos has officially begun! I bet this post has many of you knee deep in wrapping paper, tape and ribbon…..and playing Santa’s wrapping elf!

I do love wrapping gifts but have to admit so far I have only wrapped one (maybe that’s because that is all I have bought so far:) But many things have been ordered and I will be looking for daily visits from the big brown truck.  This post is therefore quite timely I would imagine for many of us.

My 35 ways to rock a Christmas present post last year was incredibly popular. I still get tons of visits to it and see many images from it on Pinterest so an encore felt appropriate. Let’s face it….when you aren’t under pressure, wrapping a gift can be such fun. A great way to make something special feel extraordinary. Who doesn’t love to receive a beautifully packaged gift, I know I do (hint hint to any of my family members reading this:)

I got many ideas from this post and I think if you take away one thing, it should be that even with simple objects like pine cones, a few sprigs of greenery and a pretty ribbon, you can make a gift look magical! Do you have any tried and true gift wrapping secrets? Do tell…..

So many great ideas. I love wrapping gifts too and have been busy all week long doing just that. I got some good ideas here especially with adding greenery and love the idea of the photos! Great post, always get the best ideas from you Tina.

Love these posts, they always give me wonderful ideas. I especially liked the candy and lollipop used to dress up a gift wrapping theme, such a nice touch.
Sending you a smile,
tp

I’m trying to learn from years past and not save all my wrapping for the last minute, but I’ll probably be scrambling anyway! I hope to handp paint the gift tags, though. So much pretty inspiration here, Tina! XO

I love and admire all the beautiful wrap but am not the most talented. I got some good ideas here though, simple things like greenery and pictures…even I can do that! Love the inspiration Tina. Thank you, good timing too..wrapping all my gifts this week until we travel to my parents on the 20th with a trunk load of gifts. Happy Holidays to you.

Hi Tina
This post is awesome ! Thanks for sharing so many creative ways of doing up the holiday gifts. I have been here after a while but enjoyed browsing through your rest of the wonderful recipes. It was a real delight to see and learn so much from your each and every post. Hope to see more of your creative endeavors in the New Year.
Have a wonderful Holiday Season and stay Warm !
Best Regards, Sonia

What terrific ideas for wrapping. I’d love to try several this year if I can get out to search for supplies. My Home Goods is the place I’ll start. The snow has started today but perhaps the streets will be cleared early for shopping tomorrow! Love the ones done in green the most. Thanks for the ideas!

After the 2nd scroll thru this post, I called Sista and told her to grab a glass of wine and her computer and tune into this gorgeous post. We oohed and aahed thru every photo and talked about attempting some of these creative ideas… I don’t know whether we actually will attempt any of these but we sure had fun drooling over your post, Tina!! Have a wonderful week.

What great ideas. I love velvet ribbon too but loving the burlap and evergreen, think I will try that. I am always looking for new and creative ways to present a gift. Thank you for this very timely post.

TINA! I missed your post this morning, as I again had to leave early in this below zero weather. I needed to get to school super early!

YOWSA do you know how to post. I love all of these ideas, but that one with the red gingham shirt and brooch? That is so genius! I love to wrap gifts in TULLE! OH YEAH! Or, like the Japanese, in satin fabric! I also saw sheet music used as wrapping paper!

Well my dear, I thank you so much for your visit and that you also enjoyed the music. That version of the Canon made me weep, and as I was making my post, I was crying, thinking of all the lovely creatures (love horses and deer) and what beauty they represent. Whether I ever witness their presence, they are out there, adorning the earth. Oh how I love to be ALIVE!

Tell your mom hello for me? THANK YOU for your support. You are wonderful! Anita

Wonderful line up of (rock-in!) Christmas wrapping! So many ideas .., from simple to bling. Thanks for sharing Tina and hope you are enjoying the season so far!!

Oh! ..and lucky you to get a little bit of snow! We were supposed to get a dusting of snow yesterday but were passed by. Our temps have been in the teens and twenties here in WA.. very cold for us!!!

This post singlehandedly makes me want to get busy wrapping gifts! Love the gift with the big red and white lollipop, how cute. And of course love the ones with the pine cones, they are so festive and elegant. Let the wrapping begin:-)

Wow looks so pretty – lots of inspiration here and I can’t wait to get to our new house and be able to actually start doing Christmas decorating. I’m struggling without it !

Sophia

As usual full of beauty and inspiration! I got some GREAT ideas here, and think I need to stock up on pinecones! I love the photo idea too..how fun. The only tip I can offer is buying twine ribbon in brown its look beautiful tied around a package with a few berries or greenery. Simple and elegant.

Farmhouse Glam and a touch of New Country – who knew! Thank you for the give away and for sharing your ideas, photos and all things beautiful !! Bonnie G.

Gorgeous gift wrapping ideas, Tina… and a few that I intend to snaggle 🙂 I wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas.

p.s. LOVING the monogrammed cocktail napkins. They wash up beautifully.

Oh yes, the packaging is equally important to me – all about the presentation. I don’t have the talent of making beautiful bows, but I’m smart enough to shop at places that have incredible wrapping skills – great images, Tina!! Definitely worth an encore.

Las fotografias trasmiten, son geniales. Ha estado un regalo el visitar tu bloc, es genial, te invito visitar el mio y si te gusta espero que te hagas seguidora.
