Hi friends, busy busy busy week here. We have really delved into our warehouse cleanup/organization/start of inventory, our house renovation began but most important is that I have gotten to see my little prince Philip very day. And that is by leaps and bounds, the very best part of my every day. I am so in love with him. Everyone was right, this is a love like no other:)

So juggling a lot every day and needless say I sleep like a baby at night. Had  a lovely dinner party last night, going to a Labor Day “Blue and white” party tonight, my kind of party but hoping it doesn’t rain. Truth is, I would be so content to stay home and relax today, I do love my lazy Sundays. Tomorrow is supposed to be beautiful and we will be playing pickleball with friends then hopefully it will be a relaxing afternoon with my son, daughter in law and Phillip!

Onward to my post……..

1 A FEW FABULOUS THINGS HEADING THIS WAY SOON…..SO excited for our fabulous chinoiserie tree napkin rings! The only change made is the gold will be more of an antique gold finish vs the bright god. These will be offered in 5 wonderful colorways. Yes, beautiful things do come in tiny packages! We will hold a presale on these in a few weeks. Never ever too soon to start about holiday planning in my book especially when it comes to setting a beautiful holiday table….

And how about these darling wicker ginger jar and wicker bow napkins rings (will be offered in several color ways)

Our fretwork bars are on the way and can now be preordered! Click here

I also shared with you these fabulous new gold bar cart, we will also be offering the tray separately. Such good looking pieces!

For those of who was looking for our cabbageware dinner plates, we changed a few things but will be offering them via direct sale. If you are interested, in putting your name not the list, email info@enchantedhome and put cabbageware on subject line.  A mailer will be going out this week

2 SET UP FOR A DINNER PARTY We had people over for a dinner party, could be one of the last as we will moving out of our house in a matter of months. I felt rusty but then as I got into doing everything, I forgot both how much work and how much fun it it! Here is some of the set up.I so wanted take a picture of my dinner table with the food on it, as it came out so pretty (and was delicious) but my phone died:( Next time!

Love setting the table

Fresh flowers and our beautiful chinoiserie hurricanes make a mighty elegant table

Used my most favorite raised floral/latttice scalloped chargers and dinner plates

Meanwile outside started with this huge cheese board, berries and cocktails

We started with tuna tartare which was soooo good, but this is where my camera died!

Love any chance to use our bar!

3 INSTAGRAMS OF INTEREST Always lots of beauty to share…

4 A FEEL GOOD STORY How can this story just not make you smile ear to ear. This small local restaurant in Alabama has no prices and feeds anyone who is hungry. They are a donation only restaurant and as a result many who would normally never be able to go out to a restaurant are afforded that experience with dignity and kindness. Stories like this really touch me and are the very best of America and humanity.

5 A GREAT WINTER JACKET COMPANY I love this brand, their jackets range from perfect fall to heavier winter jackets. Down two and love them, great travel coats too as they are so soft, they can be bundled up quite easily. Don’t about you but I am so ready for fall!  Click here to see more from Jarbo

I love this one below as its reversible…

6 GREAT HOUSE TOUR You know I love a great house tour! I thought this Hamptons beach home was well done. Instead of going the usual light, airy and breezy color scheme, they embraced, color, pattern and collectibles but its oh so well done. I really honed in on all the many beautiful details…it’s all in the details:)  See if you enjoy this one too!

7 SUNDAY’S SURVEY This is simple…do you till have a house phone? We do not, it’s the first house we have lived in that we did not get a landline. I do think about it every now and then but truth is we really never need it, and any calls we used to get were always 99% of the time spam. Anyone who needs us knows to call our cells. Curious where you stand on this?

Good morning! Loved the video on Drexell & Honeybee’s. There are angels on earth doing God’s work.
Stay well. And enjoy your precious Grandson!

Welcome beautiful baby Phillip!
I know you are so happy to see the joy he brings to his Mommy and Daddy!
Your life is forever changed as you adore your sweet grandson (as much as I adore my 5 precious grandchildren!)
The Grand Baby business is truly the very best!
Enjoy!
Deborah

Love the restaurant angels, think you’re the queen of hors d’oeuvres, enjoy the great Instagram photos, not crazy about the house tour, miss photos of prince Phillip!

Thanks for highlighting Drexel and Honeybee. Lisa has a beautiful story and provides a great service to her community. We have been fortunate to enjoy her cafe a couple of times and the food is excellent and always full of the most delightful people.

Thank you for your many posts reflecting traditional, classical values and design; however, the home tour was uninspiring. Congratulation of your precious grandson.
