About four years ago I had a custom monogram made with her which embodied everything that was important, my home, which kept my family, safe, my beloved, Teddy, blue and white, and, of course, flowers.

5 ARE YOU A ROBE PERSON? I am! I have a collection to prove it! And among my favorites are two Heidi Carey robes I wear year round. The first two I own, the Terry is amazing for fall/winter and the blue floral is great year round. I cannot recommend her robes enough, beautiful quality and worth every penny. 7 SUNDAYS SURVEY I don’t know about you, but for me, when I try to call just about anywhere, I am SO SICK of automated messages, with an endless number of prompts and at least half the time I am hung up on. It is maddening! I had tried calling Bloomingdale’s last week to see if they had something in stock, and after nearly 20 minutes of calling and calling again I gave up they lost my business and possibly for a long time
Now I understand why our customers are so happy to always hear our voice, a real live human voice! Is it me or does it seem like now it’s worse than ever in terms of reaching a real live human being?

Your commentary about businesses using automated messages with endless prompts struck a chord with me. I find these so frustrating … especially when there is no opportunity to speak to a live person! I had an almost identical experience to yours when I called Bloomingdales to try and see if a coat was in stock and give the sale to a salesperson who always does right by me, but sadly, after 40 minutes (I can be tenacious) of trying to reach one of the women’s departments (I tried several extensions), I gave up and ordered the coat online. If they want to end up losing quality salespeople and customers, these businesses are certainly on the path to doing precisely this.
Loved the home tour…I watched it several days ago….one of my favorites…do you follow The Potted Boxwood.?…her latest is an historic home in Dallas/Highland park….great tour… got to tour it earlier this year…you will enjoy….
