1 FLOOR LAMPS Am I the only one who thinks they are hard to find? Or at least pretty ones? Well look not more,  we just added four incredible beautiful floor lamp options (more to come) I LOVE these and have one on the way! Click here to see them under new arrivals along with some other goodies…

2 INSTAGRAMS OF INTEREST A lovely fall themed roundup this weekend…..

3 A BEAUTIFUL STORY WORTH SHARING If this doesn’t warm your heart,  don’t know what will! This 99 year old quit school to work in a pharmacy to help her family during World War 2 and at the ripe age of 99, she got that diploma. Love this story and solid proof you are never too old to fulfill your dreams!

4 A NEW FAVORITE HAIR PRODUCT I really like this shine spray. Someone had mentioned it and I figured I would give it a try, I love how shiny it makes my hair. Non greasy but you have to go light. I like to share new finds when I discover great beauty products and this is one I would definitely purchase again.

5 A GORGEOUS HOME TOUR! I have been a long time fan of Cathy Kincaid,  love her eye for detail. She is a master at creating the most beautiful details on everything she touches. This is a peek into her own home, I found myself captivated by every nook and cranny. Enjoy!

6 CHRYSANTHEMUMS NEVER LOOKED SO PERTTY This article made me look at “mums” in a whole new light. When I get back from my trip I am going to use a few of their arranging tips to try one of my own. Best part is they are so incredibly affordable! Great article over at Flower magazine, click here to read

7 SUNDAY’S SURVEY OK I really need your opinion here. As you know we carried an extensive line of silver, which we discontinued (still have limited pieces left). Only when I made that announcement,  did people come out of the woodwork about how upset they were and how it’s impossible to find! The reason was because it’s really more of a seasonal item, we did great with it in the fall and winter but not as much for the spring and summer seasons.

These would be offered in polished silver and some pieces in antiqued nickel.So….considering bringing in a limited curated collection of our best sellers as well as some fabulous new equestrian inspired pieces and would love to know your opinion on bringing back a limited collection of silver. Thanks in advance….

I was lucky enough to tour the Cathy Kincaid designed home this spring on the Preservation Park Cities home tour. Especially beautiful in person!

Just returned from being in France for over a month, and the equestrian silver was all the rage st the antique & brocante fairs! So Hermes style! We looked for flat silver trays with simple trims, to use to put wine/water glasses on, glasses & wine bottles. They were extremely hard to find. We saw the ones that were not flat. So please make these and flat ones!😍

I hope you continue with your silver on a limited basis. I read the post about flat trays and agree. The silver pieces I purchased from you are wonderful, especially like the meat dome.

I love all the mint juleps I’ve gotten from you over the years. I have all sizes and they make the most gorgeous flower
arrangements for dinner parties, bridal and baby showers etc… The tiniest ones are so cute for Lily of the Valley. I hope
you have these again some day. They make great gifts. I tell everyone, if you keep them wrapped tightly in plastic when not in use, they don’t need cleaning very often if ever.
The brushed nickel items were lovely.

Always love your Sunday post… so many pretty things to see… yes the tour of the house on Potted Boxwood is over the top beautiful… I had the good fortune to get to tour it a few months ago… but it isn’t Cathy’s home but she was the designer… her home is equally as lovely and you can find it on Pinterest or the Potted Boxwood toured her home at Christmas a year or two ago…. And that’s on You Tube … so fun to see… thanks always for your lovely posts…. Teresa
