Hello there! Hope everyone is having an amazing weekend! The weather has been so beautiful, we have been trying to spend a lot of time outdoors. I was in the city yesterday for both a meeting and a meetup with a friend, the city looked so beautiful I had fun taking in the front door stoops of many decked out townhouses that really get into the holiday spirit! Today we are taking baby Phillip to a fall fair and then I hope to have some downtime in the afternoon to work on a few organizational projects in my home ahead of a very busy week. Ok onward to my post this weekend……

1 FALL DAY IN NYC It has been absolutely spectacular this past week. Went in for a meeting at the cutest little coffee shop then lunch with friends at Avra a favorite Greek restaurant, and took in some festive Halloween decor on the Upper East Side. Here are some pictures I was able to capture…

I had to take this picture as I remember living in NYC, walking the streets with my oldest son who at the time was about 6 months old and would meet occasionally at this iconic pizza joint thats been there forever! Brought back a flood of memories. Patsy’s has an illustrious history so if you are ever curious, you could google it. Its a legend!

2 A GREAT BATH RUG ALERT Loved this bath mat, (sucker for scallops) and immediately ordered. I love that they offer so many colors, and found it fairly priced as well. Click here to see.

3 INSTAGRAMS OF INTEREST A bevy of beautiful instagrams with a heavy emphasis on fall

4 A BEAUTIFUL HOME TOUR What a fun tour of Bunny William’s  fabulous beautifully curated country house. I loved taking in every detail and hearing her pearls of widows. A real treat!

5 FAVORITE DECORATING COFFEE TABLE BOOKS The other day I was interviewed and one question was 4 or 5 of my all time favorite coffee table books on design/decor? It was hard to narrow it down but these were immediately on the top of my list as all time faves (but truth is there are many more) These are all so fabulous and the kind of book I go back to reference over and over….do you have any favorites I should know about (likely I may have them as I. have a pretty big collection but love to hear of new ones)!

6 THE MOST BEAUTIFUL CHINOISERIE TOLE SHIPMENT EVER IS ON THE WAY! SO excited about some INCREDIBLE new chinoiserie tole pieces heading this way. They will be here in a few weeks and we will hold a presale next week. Plus we are getting on Monday, a new container filled with so many amazing things, restocks on many favorites plus our new fretwork rolling bars (we will hold an arrival sale this Tues or Wed) then we have new ornaments coming in a few weeks, a planter container (cast iron urns and pedestals) and finally a huge porcelain container. So, yes things are rocking and rolling around here! How about those new chinoiserie tray tables and the newest Provence planters, the mirror, too much to love here……

Feast your eyes on these new style Provence planters!

Prettier tray tables I I think you might be hard pressed to find, cannot wait for these to arrive

Excited to finally be getting back these 3 lamps (plus there are others)

Two of these mirrors are immediately coming home with me, I LOVE these mirror!

And this fabulous must anticipated  metal folding bar is part of the sale too, so chic!

We will also sell trays separately, think this would be fabulous for a bar!

7 SUNDAY’S SURVEY Election day is around the corner (thank God as I am tired of hearing about it) Will you be voting? Please no political comments here, just simply asking if you will be voting this year. I hear there has been unprecedented numbers of early voting in some areas.  It should be an interesting aka a “sit on the edge of your seat” election night no matter what side of the aisle you are on…will have to be extra caffeinated that day!

I agree 100% with your favorite books. Would add just one more : Gil Schaefer’s The Great American House. This book has helped me so much with creating a classic home devoid of trends and fads. He’s brilliant. As always, thank you for a fun post, Tina!

Loved the tour of Bunny Williams home. What a lovely woman and so down to earth.
Love any books by Carolyne Roehm. I have many of her books and enjoy re-reading them.
Enjoy this beautiful Long Island weather!

I had so much fun, fun spending a leisurely hour going through and reading every word on this beautiful post. New York City is magical this time of year. I absolutely love all of the new items coming in and definitely need those planters and a tray table… And maybe a mirror😘

I own all the books except the second one for Charlotte Moss, which I’m going to to order today!

This is the first year that I will not be voting, I am so heartbroken over what has happened in Palestine. I cannot bring myself to vote for anyone who thinks that that is OK.

Have a wonderful day with your darling grandson!

Thank you for the Bunny Williams home tour! It was such a treat. I’ve enjoyed An Affair With A House for years, and was recently gifted her book , Life in the Garden!

Your “Seven” is a 10!! Enjoyed so much. Voted early…no lines, no hassle & excellent lunch afterwards!! Till we meet again…franki

I voted early here in Florida. It was so easy to do since I’m now retired. A few of my favorite coffee table books (although not new or unusual so you probably have these or have seen them) are Barbara Streisand’s “My Passion For Design” (loaded with full page photos of her massive, beautiful collections of things), James T. Farmer III’s “Celebrating Home” (lots of garden photos and food photos), “Living With Blue and White” (available right now at Home Sense), all of Rachel Ashwell’s books and a book recently bought at Costco, “Food To Die For” (full of recipes and stories from America’s most legendary haunted places).

Thank you so much for linking the adorable bath mat! I’ll be doing an Anthropologie deep dive later…

Yes, I voted! Have the books you shown. Plus a zillion more books. Home and garden books is my passion like decorating my home and garden. I also love Charles Faudree books.

The Bunny house tour was great! Thank you for taking me away to Connecticut for a brief respite.
