Good morning ya’ll! No Seven on Sunday today because I am here to share the rest of my Nashville/Franklin trip with you but it will be back next Sunday:) Yes, I am still very much in a southern state of mind and I don’t plan on snapping out of it anytime soon.
So I shared with you part 1, the very long part 1yesterday of an overview of our trip to Nashville/Franklin. If you missed it you MUST see it, it’s so wonderful and truly you will feel like you were right there beside me:) Click here to see part 1…..I cannot wait to go back but until then these posts will have to suffice:)
Today’s part 2 is all about the reason I went there in the first place…..the beautiful O’More Showhouse. Beautiful does not do it justice, this was downright perfection. So much talent under one roof. The master behind this fabulous home was Joanne Haynes, a decorating genius who has been to this rodeo once or twice before. Everyone I spoke with agreed, no one can do it quite like Joanne:) She is as lovely as she is talented.
The opening night party was fabulous…..everything looked so gorgeous, drinks and small bites were served. I felt like I was in a movie based off of a southern storyline, elegantly dressed people all over (over 200 of them), warm and gracious, lovely live music, surrounded by beauty everywhere….does it get better than that? Then to have been chosen as the honorary chair was truly the icing on an already very sweet cake:) I was there with three of my closest friends from NY, which made it ultra sweet. Just a great great night!
So thank you to Joanne and O’More College for bestowing this wonderful honor upon me and to everyone who came out to see the showhouse. It was so exciting to meet many of my readers/customers, one as nice as the next. And to my very special friend, Ann who took things up a notch and gave us the most wonderful tour and treated us to a wonderful country lunch. Hard to believe that all of this started with my little blog! And of course to my friends from NY who traveled with me and were able to share this wonderful occasion with me!
I managed to snap a few quick pics as we got there right before the party was starting (and a few from a friend)……
Last minute party preparations on the front porch
COME ON IN-
Upon entering there is a wonderful wide front porch, just love the swing!
Then you are greeted by the original lead glass double doors and there is a gracious living room to your right and gorgeous dining to your left….
Lovely elegant living room in a soft palette with dressy gold accents
And to the left is the gorgeous dining room…of course I loved it with all the blue and white! Well done indeed:)
This pretty little powder room with this wonderful paper was off the main hallway
And then you enter the beautifully redone kitchen/breakfast area…gorgeous color. As inviting as it was beautiful
Love this trio of fabulous paintings and am looking for a spot in my home for them…there was some fabulous art (most of from Haynes Gallery in Nashville) including an incredible Andrew Wyeth original (not for sale)!
Loved getting to see these oversized cards they made for me on the kitchen countertop:)
And move along to the super elegant family room ….great job Joanne (one of my favorite palettes) recognize the brackets?
This gallery wall was fabulous…most of the art was from the Haynes Gallery in Nashville
Just to the right of the family room is this double wide staircase going to the lower level, beautifully done
The landing was beautifully done, with its charcoal gray walls, and built in seating with bookcases, great ideas here!
Fabulous master bedroom on first floor, love the bed and beautiful wall color
Monogrammed linens always make me happy…and these are incredibly well done!
With an equally beautiful and super elegant master bath-
And an enviable closet with a pull down ironing board and mini washer/dryer…genius!! I have to copy that:)
As we head upstairs, yours truly’s powder room is the first room you see…..
The exquisite mural from Paul Montgomery just made this little room!
And there is a functional upstairs laundry room tucked into a former closet which was so cleverly done-
EVERY laundry room should have this wonderful fold down drying rack…love it!
And three bedrooms upstairs…
This sweet little nursery was precious
And this room felt cloud like:)
And there was a wonderful navy and white home office which was hard to capture because of the sunlight but it was beautiful-
Love those lamps:)
Moving along to the lower level which was so amazingly well done…very inviting!
Of course loved this palette and that it was at ground level made this so not feel like a basement
Then the family room opened to a fabulous outdoor space which was the best of indoors/outdoor living-
This space was so well done partially covered and so functional, cozy and beautiful!
And there was a semi attached garden shed that I fell madly in love with..I WANT ONE!
Phew…that was quite a tour! As amazing as seeing it in pictures is, there is nothing like seeing it in person. So if you have the chance to go…..GO! I hope you feel like you were almost there with me, tried to capture as much as I could. Thank goodness for our phones:) It was such a magical night and such a beautiful showhouse, I am truly honored to have been a part of it! Click here for details on the O’More Showhouse.
A big thanks to Joanne Haynes and the O’More College for inviting me and giving my friends and I a taste of “southern hospitality” at it’s finest. It is a wonderful memory and a reminder of just how incredible the world of blogging is…look at what it has given me!
Hope you enjoyed this whirlwind tour through Nashville/Franklin……thank you for stopping in and sharing all of my life’s adventures with me, it makes it so much more fun:) Until next time……

You were in my ‘neck of the woods.’ One of the companies I work for is in LaVergne, TN and I am there quite often. The President and I go to the Red Pony at the first of each year to lay out our goals/plans for the following year. It’s become a ritual and we love the restaurant. I’ll be there again next week and hope to have time to tour the home. It looks stunning.
The house is so lovely and I really love the bathroom you did with that fabulous wallpaper. Wow! It must have been so fun to see the whole house come together. Thanks for the pictures. As always, I love all the pics! Gorgeous!!
Tina such a pleasure to meet you, you are as beautiful inside as you are out. I am not sure if you remember me, Lisa from Nashville (the one who showed you a picture of my parents home and the lanterns I bought for them).
I was so impressed with the entire home and loved your bathroom. I am definitely going to have a mural done through Paul Montgomery for our new home when we move in Aug. I forgot to ask where you got that mirror. It was so pretty with the paper. Your recognition was well deserved and I am so happy I got to see both the showhouse and meet you. Love your blog and look forward to opening it every day!
Thank you for sharing pictures of the O’More Showhouse. There are so many good ideas to “borrow”. Your powder room is beautiful,,,really is a “stunner”.
So glad you enjoyed Franklin. The Show House is amazing and your beautiful Powder Room was perfect. I moved here 2 1/2 years ago from Los Angeles and I’ve never looked back. It’s a magical place to live.
Love the show house and am especially impressed by how comfortable and livable all the rooms look — not crazily “done” like most showhouses I see. Thanks for sharing!
Can see one very happy family living in that charming home. Looked so inviting.
Loved the bathroom you did, beautiful mural. Any way you might share the paint color from below the mural? Looking for just that color.
My son will be moving to Nashville soon. Your wonderful posts will definitely help me find all the hot spot to explore. I can tell this is going to fun!
Tina, your powder room was fabulous. So fun to see the whole house and get the tour of Nashville/Franlkin. Thank you for the

Tina… OMG!!! I love every inch of that beautiful house. You must have been so proud of being the chair. So fun for you and your readers to meet each other. Looks like a fabulous event! Hope you get some rest this week.
Thank you for sharing. You made me feel like I was there. Beautiful home and so livable. Someone else posted that it was not overdone as so many show houses. I have to agree. It was perfect and so much fun to see pictures.
This house is fabulous! I can see why you loved all of the blue and whites! Would love to know the color of the bathroom paint that your used id you do not mind sharing!
I agree, you need that little garden room! Have a great week Tina, thank you for sharing your adventure!
Tina,
You did a BEAUTIFUL job on the powder room!!! That wallpaper! Oh my!!!!
So, Franklin is where my cousins grew up. I spent time there when I was a child. Franklin has really come a long way and was always such a darling town for antiquing and cute shops.
