Good Sunday morning to you! Hope this finds you well and no doubt in the thick of holiday planning. I have to admit I don’t quite have my mojo this year, I know I am not alone, as I keep hearing that from others as well. That said, my tree is up and there are decorations happening, a little bit every day. That’s just how I roll, not in one fell swoop but in little windows of time. Always tweaking:)

Gifts are a whole other story. Haven’t even started but have ideas of what I am getting and this year, it’s one big gift for each kid. A kayak for one, a puppy for another and still on the prowl for one special thing for my third son ( they never read my blog so I am not concerned)! Still working on that list…..with lucky will have it done by end of this week. Somehow, someway always gets done!

1 CHRISTMAS SO FAR AROUND HERE So this year I am pretty slow out of the starting gate except that I had my tree up far early than usual. Like so many, not totally feeling that Christmas spirit that I normally do but I went out and bought paperwhites and amaryllis, brought some blue and white home and it actually gave me a much needed little boost towards some decorating. It will be just us 5 for Christmas as it was Thanksgiving and I am totally OK with it now, knowing we are all safe and will be together next year.

This weekend I will finish the tree, and this week will do my planters. I have added some pretty but not crazy touches around the house and here is what I haves so far…

3 INSTAGRAMS OF INTEREST  This time of year Instagram is overflowing with the most beautiful and inspiring photos. So much beauty to choose from. Hard to narrow it down but I finally did1

4 PARCHMENT LEAVES AND ROLLING PINS Just ordered this rolling pin, have no idea when I will have the time (maybe it was delusional dreaming)but also maybe part of me wants a reason to stop for a few minutes and do something fun and festive like bake homemade cookies (something I never do). 6 MY AMAZING CUSTOMERS I get such a thrill seeing my production your spectacular homes. I swear I could make such a wonderful book featuring some of these pictures. I also enjoy sharing them here as I know many of you enjoy them too….
