Hello friends. Hope you are having a wonderful weekend. Here, fall weather is starting to be felt and I am  loving every minute of it. It is starting to cool down just a bit and a few evenings have warranted a light sweater…my favorite!

It was an exciting week with the launch f the Carolyne Roehm collaboration, it was a huge hit and we are both incredibly grateful and flattered that you love it so much! Just about all gift wrap orders have shipped and the luncheon dinnerware will hopefully ship later next week. The dinner sized dinnerware is due to arrive in about 3 weeks or so. Cannot wait to see your set tables and wrapped gifts:)

Look forward to a relaxing day at home, catching up on a whole host of things. Busy week ahead. Trying to get down to Palmetto Bluff and a visit to my parents, hopefully in the next week before the holiday craziness really takes over:)

On we go to this weeks Seven on Sunday……

1 FLOATING ON A GIANT VIOLIN IN THE VENICE CANAL Now, this is something you certainly don’t see everyday! “Noah’s Violin” is the most recent creation of Venetian artist/sculptor Livio De Marchi. He’s sent plenty of other wooden works out to sea including a giant shoe. What a visionary! He said he did this to celebrate Venice’s reopening to the world. What a sight it must have been,  watching the musicians play Vivaldi as they sailed through the canal! Be sure to watch the video below to see the real effect, just so beautiful.

2 A BEAUTIFUL LAKE HOUSE Great vibe in this Alabama vacation lake house. I love the way it’s done, very “Palmetto Bluff” in feeling. The setting is spectacular and this home manages to be sophisticated but very inviting. Click here to read more about it.

3 INSTAGRAMS OF INTEREST What a pretty roundup with plenty of beautiful blues and fall magic! My favorite season of all……

4 A DELICIOUS AND SO EASY PESTO Made this not once but twice in the last week. SO good. It is quite easy and all you need are five good, fresh ingredients. I doubled this recipe so that I would have an extra container in the freezer for a rainy day. Since I am back to eating low carb, I had this with zucchini noodles and it was divine. My family indulged in fresh pasta with it and let’s face it…that the very best:)

  • 2 cups Big bunch of fresh basil (stems off)
  • 3/4 Freshly grated Parmigiano
  • 1/2 cup Olive oil
  • 3-4 Garlic Cloves
  • 3 tbsp Pignoli nuts
  • Salt/pepper to taste

I used my Vitamix to make this and it was a cinch.

  1. Combine basil leaves, pine nuts or walnuts and garlic in a food processor and process until very finely minced.
  2. With the machine running slowly dribble in the oil and process until the mixture is smooth.
  3. Add the cheese and process very briefly, just long enough to combine. Taste and adjust seasonings as needed. Store in refrigerator or freezer.

5 RONNER DESIGN I adore everything this equestrian inspired company does. I ordered the first blouse and a few of their stylish zip ups, but have since seen a bunch of other things I have my eye on. Just a great design aesthetic whether you ride or not! Click here to visit Ronner.

6 THE SQUEEZE ON THIS FABULOUS LEMON THEMED PARTY!  When I saw this I was completely floored by how stunningly beautiful it was. I would love to replicate this one day, when life gets back to “full normal”. Every single detail is just incredible!!! I have studied every single detail and just in love with every aspect of this beautiful celebration. Click here to follow the talented floral designer, Rishi Patel.

7 SEVEN’S SUNDAY So, I shared with you the newest pattern, Hydrangea Garden which has just now gone into production. We normally do not introduce melamine until spring but this was too good so we hope to have it by Dec. Anyway, production numbers are HUGE so I have to be very mindful when ordering as it’s easy to get swept away by how pretty it all is!

I want to do a charger. But have to decide on one color. I think the soft blue works beautifully with both the blue version and the green version. Would love your thoughts on adding this pretty scalloped charger. Price point would be very reasonable.  I am also considering a solid white charger, which obviously goes with everything. Thoughts? I am so excited to get this collection!

Thanks for another lovely post—so wonderful. I love reading your updates and enjoy Home and Garden magazines and (lots of photos) so your daily posts are great and are always inspiring. Keep the beauty, fun and good vibes coming.
PS. Have you thought of adding potholders to your offerings. I can not find any that I love.

Such a pretty post today, Tina! Thank you for giving me a boost of pure happiness every Sunday. I’m always amazed by what you find on Instagram, and then the homes that are beyond gorgeous. It’s great fun to see what you have that’s new in your shop, too. Have a wonderful day and a great week.

There are some beautiful homes on Lake Martin…we live about an hour from there and spend quite a bit of time on the lake at my sister’s house there.

Tina,
Love everything on your website and, as usual, need to show some restraint!!!! Very hard to do so but I have a comment with my vote on this weeks poll…. I have the blue pagoda melamine and am hoping you will do a white charger for that pattern….. any other color used with that pattern would not do it justice…. please consider! Many thanks…..

Hi Tina! At one point you were considering a melamine set with an acorn embellishment. Are you still planning to introduce this? I really liked that option and have been watching for it! I also like the scallop charger you showed today!
