Hi friends! Hope everyone is enjoying a great weekend! We finally have  beautiful weather this weekend, literally might be the first all summer that it was sunny, warm but not humid and actually pleasant. Other than that, its been a bit of a bust in my opinion. Stunned to see how much “back to school” and fall clothing there is out there…..not quite ready to say goodbye to summer yet though I do love my fall:)

Hope everyone is enjoying a great weekend, onward to my Sunday post…..

1 CUSTOMER PHOTOS I love seeing our products in your beautiful homes…always such fun!

This first one was part of a lovely spread in Southern Living, featuring the charming home of Sarah Tucker, loved seeing some of our pieces there!

Click here to read the entire article and more about Sarah’s wonderfully charming home.

How incredibly beautiful is this foyer! I love seeing our garden seat and large silver planter here. Barbara Lewis is one talented designer (and a lovely person)

Love seeing our Provence planter above…fabulous!

And this table setting is glorious, fun to see our equestrian flatware here

And this beautiful room is so striking, love seeing our wicker urn and pedestal to the right!

2 A DELICIOUS AND EASY CHICKEN PAILLARD We make this at least once a week. It is simple, super delicious and very healthy. We have been eating it with a side of zucchini, sometimes a big garden salad, and occasionally I will make a rice pilaf for husband and/or sons (I am trying to stay away from carbs and its working) except on occasion:) This is always a crowd pleaser-

What you need-

2 pounds of chicken breats

2 pats of butter and a few TBSP of olive oil

5 cloves of garlic thinly sliced

Salt and pepper

Fresh lemon juice

ripe tomatoes

1/4 chopped red onion

arugula or butter lettuce (prefer arugula but don’t always have it on hand)

Balsamic vinegar to taste

Freshly grated parmigiana (optional) I love the flavor it gives

How to-

With a very sharp knife cut your breasts lengthwise in half. Put in a tightly sealed ziplock bag, grab your palette and gently pound away until paper thin.

In a skillet add your butter and olive oil, then garlic and brown. Once browned add your chicken, each side only needs about 4 minutes on a medium heat. Meanwhile season with salt, pepper and a nice squeeze of fresh lemon as they are cooking.

As you are doing this, take your arugula, finely chopped tomatoes, onion and mix together. Add salt/pepper then olive oil and balsamic to taste. Put chicken on plate and gently top the chicken with a big. helping of the salad topping adding a final squeeze of lemon and parmigiana if you like it…bon appetít!

3 INSTAGRAMS OF INTEREST I had a hard time narrowing them down this weekend. So many pretty ones. There is no rhyme or reason to these, just whatever strikes my fancy….

4 THE NORTH FORK OF LONG ISLAND I had such fun the other day, taking a much needed day off to decompress and unplug. I went out to the North Fork aka wine country. It is a beautiful spot on Long Island that has a bit of a Napa-ish vibe with oodles of charming farms along with charming wineries. It is so enjoyable to go out there in the summer. I load up on fresh flowers, ripe produce and always bring home a bottle or two as a little souvenir. It is like an instant dose of therapy and always rejuvenates me in the best way possible.  Here are some of the highlights…

And this gets its own little story- on my way home, I spotted this darling sunflower stand. I figured another bunch couldn’t hurt.

So I stopped and waited for whoever was working there, after a couple of minutes, I started looking around and spotted this.

It literally warmed my heart to see that some still operate on the honor system and in good faith. I was only too happy to support their business and the bonus was coming home with a few bunches of spectacular sunflowers!

5 THE HIGH GLOSS TRAYS ARE COMING! So happy to announce these are almost out of production. A lot of you have asked about them, we will have them available for presale next week. They are coming in 3 shapes and 5 glorious colors, stay tuned!

6 THE PRETTIEST GARDEN! Loved this beautiful garden tour from Homeworthy with Bettie Beardon Pardee. I had the good fortune to be invited to Bettie’s home a few years ago and let me tel you its spectacular! Her gardens are equally so. I was thrilled to find this Homeworthy video and thought it was worth sharing. Hope you enjoy it too-

7 SUNDAY’S SURVEY So last year, we offered for the first time the most beautiful needlepoint small stockings with Bauble stockings. We sold out by the end of the season and they were a definite hit. These are the kinds of things you want to pass down, very special plus knowing they are made by an huge group of single mothers from Haiti makes them even more meaningful. Beautiful hung on Christmas trees, given as a special gift (I gave a few with gift cards in them) or placed at each place setting as I did one Christmas.

Considering bringing them back and would love your opinion as to if thats a good idea or not! I loved our styles from last year and am debating on bringing back the two best sellers and possibly introducing 2-3 new ones. Thoughts?

LovelyxALL!! I, too, follow Bettie Beardon Pardee…takes me to a “fantasy land.” franki

Happy Sunday Tina. Our forecast for this week calls for temps in the 90s and zero rain. Hope that falls thru. Lol. I’ve been wanting to mention—
I’m most excited about the new Christmas ornament designs coming out. I’ve enjoyed collecting your designs and look forward to adding more.
I can’t believe we’re at July’s end. Time goes by so quickly. Wishing you a great week.

I love seeing the picture of your mom at the end of all your posts. It’s such a sweet way to honor her.
I lost my mom one year ago. And I miss her so much.
There’s no love like a mother’s love.

A beautiful post. I love your farm pictures, so beautiful.
And yes to those stockings. Bought them last year and looking forward to adding to the collection.

Those lacquered trays are sensational. Green and blue for me!

Thanks for the lovely garden tour, such a pretty and obviously cared for garden. Have a great Sunday Tina.

I think that garden was the most beautiful I have ever seen. The many shades of green was so serene and peaceful . The parterres were so sophisticated . The sounds of the birds chirping and the water was soothing to the soul .

Your farm day was perfect!! I. love your pictures. Do you use your phone or a camera? They are always so bright and crisp.

LOVE THE GLOSSY TRAYS. I cannot wait to get my hands on one (or two). They are just beautiful.

Trying you chicken dish. I need to expand upon my boring dinner repertoire.

I’m kind of new to your blog. I have never seen the Royal Copenhagen Christmas china before and it is beautiful. I looked at your Christmas posts from previous years and I absolutely love your table set with the Copenhagen and the monogrammed salad plates. Your Christmas dinning table is stunning! I ordered one dinner plate and it arrived today. It is gorgeous! I’m not usually a copy cat decorator, but your table will be my table this Christmas and I am so excited! I’d love to add the beautiful needlepoint stockings! I’ll make sure to give you credit 😉!
