Hello everyone. With luck I will be en route to Palmetto Bluff when you read this (fingers crossed). We are due to move furniture in the next week and needless to say this has been a long time in the making. So by far, the best weekend of hte summer (if all goes according to plan)
Hard to believe our summer weekends are coming to an end. The last month we have partaken in more plans than usual including midweek get togethers with friends, just to take advantage of the summer. I am not one who tends to like obligations four days in a row, but last week that’s what we did and we actually had a lot of fun doing it. So soaking up these last few weeks, the fall and back to school push is on full throttle!
OK on to my post this weekend……

2 OUR NEW CABBAGE PLATES! We are so excited to be introducing the stunning new cabbage plates! The white will be here in 4 weeks, the green Sheryl after and now we are looking to add a blue. Would love your opinion. For those who missed out on our presale for the white dishes, you can still preorder (click here).
We are not far from being sold out of these so if you had your eye on them it’s a great time to preorder yours. I love that they can so easily be mixed in with other plates/styles/colors.
Now onto the blue, first would love to know what you think about the blue addition, here is the color we are considering-
3 INSTAGRAMS OF INTEREST Never a lack of beautiful pictures to share and be inspired by….
4 OUR NEWEST WICKER TABLES!!!!! SO excited over thees new Chippendale coffee tables and end tables now in production. We will hold a presale on these in about 2 weeks. These will be offered on a presale basis only at first. Then we will start stocking them in a few months.
Of course I am ordering two end tables and a cocktail table for myself. This idea was born out of a very old Chippendale style ivory coffee table I have owned for years, I always imagined it in wicker and now it’s happened!I love these so much and cannot wait for them to arrive….
5 LAUGHTER IS THE BEST MEDICINE Shared these on Instagram and everyone loved them, each one so relatable. Hope these give you a good laugh….
6 THE PUMPKINS ARE COMING! So excited to have our pumpkins on the way, and we we will begin our annual presale on them in the coming week. So stay tuned! We are adding several new styles and bringing back the best sellers from last year.
Doubled up on our order, and perhaps I am most excited about our jumbo pumpkins, that measure 24″ which I think are amazing to flank a front door or perhaps display on a front hall table. These will be arriving end of September..

7 SUNDAY’S SURVEY Do you tend to be more socially active in the summer, when our days are longer? We have found ourselves being out more during the week which typically we do not do. Not sure how much is chalked up to being empty nesters or the longer days of summer and feeling more carefree…maybe a bit of both?
I feel like in the colder months, I look forward to coming home and cozying up with a good meal and movie. Curious where you stand? Couldn’t add the survey remotely, so feel free to chime in in the comment section.!

Yes, I’m also an empty nester, living in Florida all year around. Unfortunately, summers are very hot, so winters r preferable to be socially active. I do miss, though, the cool winters of the North when u could cozy up with a hot chocolate. I still get my hot chocolate after cranking the A/C. 😊
My first choice is white, but I can see that the blue cabbage plates would be pretty too. Summer time is always packed with a lot during the week and weekends too. When the super chill weather hits I’m reading more and hanging inside. We seem to always start an inside project in Sept that lasts for a couple months. I’m not afraid to say the early dark evenings aren’t for me. I watch more TV and get busy in the kitchen. But then, there’s Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas to keep things fun, enjoyable and interesting. Can’t wait to see more photos of your home in PB. Enjoy.
Tina, please order the blue cabbage dishes. I would order 8 right off the bat if you could get these in a small bowl (4 to 6 inches). I am dying to have a contrast to use with my Spode Blue Italian and Spode Delamere blue. I cannot find them in Bordello Pinheiro even though I have them saved on many searches (Replacements, Ltd, eBay etc)
We love summer here in Beautiful Idaho and spend every minute outside in the beautiful mountains or just in our yard. Winter and a nice fire and good movie will be here soon enough.
We are probably more active socially in the summer and fall when the weather is relatively nice outside. Come football season we have a lot of watch parties for college and professional games through the Super Bowl.
