Hello everyone! Hope you all enjoyed a merry and peaceful Christmas. Ours was going great until I woke up Christmas morning not feeling well. But, being the trooper that I am forged ahead and cooked the rest of my Christmas dinner (some had been cooked day before) as we started to open gifts. Once the gift opening marathon was over, I finished my cooking and decided to rest a bit. Only when I laid down and stopped did I realized I really wasn’t feeling well.

I remember I had had a covid test so decided to take one and much to my surprise…..it was POSITIVE! I literally broke out in tears. For so many reasons. Who wants to spend Christmas Day in bed of all places? Without their family? Knowing my elderly dad was in town was one of the main reasons I took it. So I immediately went into quarantine in my room. The upside- the family had a delicious dinner to enjoy. Another upside? They all had to do the dishes and cleanup..a first! See, I do still have some humor left in me)

Seriously,  this one hit me hard, had Paxlovid delivered on Christmas afternoon so this is day 3, feeling marginally better. The massive intense headache is gone but I still have no voice, am very weak and dizzy, coughing but not as much. I will be home next 3 days. NOT the Christmas I had expected. Sadly my dad flew out yesterday as  he didn’t  want to take any further chance of getting it. Just be careful out there.

And on a much brighter note, its time for round one of our HOLIDAY LOVE contest!! So much beauty here, remember you can vote for your three faves…..

Oh my gosh, so sorry you were sick again, especially on Christmas. Covid seems to be the gift that keeps on giving. Feel better and rest, rest, rest. Hope your Dad is okay,
Wishing you Good Health, Joy and Peace for the New Year.

Sorry to hear you are not feeling well. Get your rest, glad you are on the road to recovery. Our holiday too, not as expected, as various family members have the flu. But, we charge on….I’m sure you’ll be up and about to enjoy New Year’s. Wishing you and your entire family a happy and HEALTHY 2024!

Tina, I am so sorry you are once again sick. Please check out the product Nozin. It’s hand sanitizer for your nose. It’s simple to use it last for 12 hours and kills 99.9% of the terms entering through your nose.. Two different hospitals in Indianapolis required me to use it just before and after my surgeries in October and November. I’m believer. I purchased mine on Amazon.
Please feel better and take care of yourself.

So sorry you are ill! I just spent the entire month of December with a debilitating virus and barely struggled through the holiday with much help from my husband and family…..it is such a difficult time of year to be under the weather. Take good care!

Hello Tina,
Thank you so much for taking the time to do this and bring us smiles &– and on top of covid!!
I hope every day brings you closer to full & speedy recovery.

I’m still wearing a mask in public!!. Our son and his family finally getting over RSV virus which hits young children hard. Hoping for your quick recovery-

Tina, feel so bad that your Christmas Day was spoiled by Covid. This is so horrible. Hope you will soon be feeling better.

So sorry to read you have Covid. Hope you feel better soon. My 90 year old mother tested positive on Boxing Day, it’s her first time having Covid. Now we are testing twice daily as we spent quite a bit of time with her.

It’s that time of year when flu and respiratory viruses are going around! I have been sick with the flu over Christmas before and it’s awful! I’m so sorry you aren’t feeling well during Christmas this year, especially when your dad had flown in to visit! Rest up, drink lots of fluids, take high doses of Vit C and include Vit D and zinc! Hope you are on the mend!

So sorry you had Covid. I would like to know if you were vaccinated? You don’t have to answer but I’m so curious about Covid. My husband had all vaccinations last year and got Covid 4 times! I had 2 vaccinations and the 2nd vaccine I almost died. I was told I was allergic to that vaccine?? I didn’t get vaccine this year and praying I will be ok.
