Hi there, today is Friday woo hoo. We are going out of town for a few days to somewhere balmy and warm (hopefully) to see friends. Looking forward to leaving gloomy, gray, rainy NY.

Never met a tray of sushi I didn’t love, thankfully we have great sushi restaurants around here
I am almost sorry I learned how to make Bananas Foster (one off my all time favorites) I almost preferred it when it was made in some fancy obscure restaurant where I could indulge a few times a year, but to know I have such access to this scrumptious dessert is a little scary, it is SOOOOO good, as good as any restaurant I have had it in. Will share recipe next Sunday
All Christmas decor is down, feels a bit bare, so have started adding in some blue and white and some of our faux flowers for a bit of early spring cheer

Looking forward to the Banana Fosters recipe. My friend from LA,now here in VA, was disappointed with a local restaurant here that served it. Can’t wait to make it for her.

First of all you’re waking up too early if that’s what you see and secondly I live in Southern Ontario and almost every day all day long looks like this 😞 however it’s been mild averaging 10 degrees over the average so I will take grey for the rest of the winter with a smile!
From photos, am I correct in assuming that your house in NY is going to be replica of your southern home with its modern, all-white wood, furnishings and art work??? No natural wood, vintage pieces, artwork or collectibles. You were in your prime in your former home … hard to fathom the change, although architecturally the new house is lovely.🤔

I would be looking warmth and sunshine too. That cold, gray, dreary picture looks depressing. Enjoy your trip, hopefully the sun will be shining.
