Hello, hope you are having a great week! It is hard to believe we are just about to welcome summer, it’s been a very cool spring over here so it feels sudden to me. Occasionally I like to share with you and highlight my Pinterest boards. It’s a fun way to get to show you some of my all time favorite pictures. If I could have one job other than what I already do, it would, hands down be a party planner.
What a perfect solution for my very over active imagination that is constantly churning out ideas…getting to implement them over and over and making others happy in the process, sounds like a dream job to me!
Today is all about beautiful parties..“Party like a rockstar” is one of my Pinterest boards where I get to do some serious dreaming and plotting for my sons marriage (now he just needs the bride).
Seriously, all of these totally make me want to plan something sooner than later, it is so satisfying to hatch an idea, let it evolve with all the details and then watch it come to life. Some of the ideas here are on a grand and large scale, but I took away a few other really good ideas on how to be a bit more innovative even for smaller get togethers.
As they say, the devil is in the details and boy isn’t that the truth but surely worth every ounce of effort! Every one of these pictures has me dreaming……

Love this!! in time for summer entertaining. I love the olive bar and the juice bar.. so very useful and we can use our items that we have around already… thank you Tina!!
Garden parties are so doable, every year! I always had a themed annual garden party with background music. Ours always had croquet groups of 6 rounds on the lawn with painted white rebar croquet hoops for durability. Heavy appetizer finger food and wine. Our guests always enjoyed the activity of cheering on the croquet players in the finial playoff from the winners of each batch of 6 players. I purchased an antique trophy from a second hand shop, had a wooden square base attached with brass plates for the winners names to be engraved. It was known as the Annual Croquet Cup. Twenty years of fun.
These are simply gorgeous!! I’ve been wanting to plan a simple “garden party”… well maybe not so simple, maybe a bit dressed up affair… so all these have been pnned along.. thanks.
EVERY picture is well worth a thousand words !!
Gorgeous tablescapes/settings will be copied – on a smaller scale , but would be just as lovely .
It’s all about presentation , simple food , great wines and beverages …
Lucky guests will depart with find memories !
Dear Tina: These pictures are beautiful. PLease check out Southern Blooms by Pat’s Floral Designs. They are mother/daughter floral designers who happen to be good friends of mine and they are the floral deisigners for a lot of Easton Events weddings as well as the ones captured by Jen Farriello. They do a lot of the weddings at Pippin Hill winery which is just south of where we all live here in Virginia. These ladies are EXTRAORDINARY! They are lovely ladies as well as talented artists! D.
