Good evening friends. This little elf is wiped out, a porcelain container arriving is no laughing matter….LOTS of work but oh the beauty:) Hope all is well with you, this was supposed to post last week but time got away from me so better late than never.
BIG NEWS- The porcelain container came in today and everything is simply spectacular…even prettier in person. I want one of everything! Look for my usual one day arrival sale in the next few days (Wed or Thursday) as we finish getting all presale orders out. We have a new system in place and already got the first four batches out the door today!
I hate to talk about it as I don’t want to jinx anything but the newly revised site is really shaping up and though I am not going to promise a “to be done by” date I will say it’s sooner than later! You will get the pinterest button back and finally everyone will again be receiving my emails (via subscription)
But tonight is all about sharing with you a little snippet of my life the last week or so as I do from time time. So without further ado here we go…..
How magnificent is this vignette? Major swoon.
My favorite tray from my shop with a big Chippendale influence heading out to a lucky cusomer
Lunch break in Greenwich with a good friend
Expending a lot of brainpower lately over PB bathroom decisions!
First step of my Easter planning….bringing out the Tobacco Leaf from Mottahedeh
And I thought choosing a pale blue shutter would be a piece of cake…ha! Though I will say I have narrowed it down to two which is serious progress given the quandary I had been in the last week or so
We went walking on the beach one gorgeous Sunday, I always loved the look of silhouettes against a bright sunny sky
Gorgeous chinoiserie getting installed at a friends/customers house…
And with the newly installed Venetian mirror
Added this gorgeous pale blue velvet jumbo neckroll to my bed
Lunch with a dear friend at my favorite Greek restaurant, Limani
It’s pillow fever around here…..was kind of sad to say goodbye to these beauties that came in for a few lucky customers!
Always looking for inspiration…and these fabulous doors seen at an antique shop in CT. are very close to what I am doing on two doors flanking my stove in PB
Walked into my living room one late day afternoon and the late day sun looked so pretty had to snap a pic
Went for a beautiful nature walk with my hubs and took this artistic shot of his danging feet above…..every now and then I take an interesting/artistic shot:)
Getting my silver ready for an upcoming little get together
New GORGEOUS needlepoint/Aubusson pillows
Always mesmerized by this incredible stair at the gorgeous and iconic apt building, The Ansonia in NYC..spellbinding
!
My friends darling little King Charles Cavalier..such a cutie!!
Obsessed with this wide tape and am determined to use it somewhere, thinking PB master bedroom or living room pillows
How beautiful is this “too pretty to open” Easter present from my amazing assistant, Margaret!
Cutest dog on the internet (in my opinion)!
There you have my recap on the last week or so. A full one and as always I am on the lookout for the pretty and inspirational. Why not? Life is what you make of it, and I am all for seeking out the beauty! Thanks for stopping by, wishing you a wonderful evening and start to your week, until next time……
Fun to see the calendar I won in your drawing on your desk with your Easter gift! Love the April topiaries!
Hate for April to end, but I’m sure May’s calendar will be just as much fun!
Thank you again!
Barb
It’s so fun to see these posts especially since I’m not in NY anymore and you get to places that I can’t. I love the nature shots too! Very cool. I am so excited for your sale later this week. A bedroom opened up post wedding and to reward myself for cleaning out the rest of the room (no, I haven’t started) will be an item from your sale. Guess I better start cleaning tomorrow! Happy Tuesday!
I’m always amazed at all you do. But then again, one of my mottos in life is, “If you want something done, ask a busy person.” You, Tina, definitely fall into that category. Life is good, is it not? XO
Looks like a beautiful and busy week. I cannot wait to see more updates on the PB house. The tile looks beautiful. I would agree with you about Teddy ending the cutes dog on the internet but I think mine are pretty cute as well.
What a fun post! I LOVE the blues you have selected as choices for your shutters. We painted our shutters blue and I must have gone through 8 different blue tones before making my choice. I love the silver serving pieces and in fact purchased several sets as gifts and have them myself. I think I spied some new pieces that I don’t have so I heading to the shop. Looking forward to seeing the new porcelain. I have several pieces from you and I love them!
Wow! I am loving all those beautiful plates with the leaves and also the lovely blue tones in the couch pillows. Love to catch up and see all your finds. Thanks.
that Ansonia shot is everything. except it isn’t because then there was Teddy. who is definitely everything. and more. thanks for sharing your beautiful world. xox
Tina..The chinoiserie wallpaper in that bathroom is OUT OF THIS WORLD.. It is EXQUISITE!!!!!I I am wondering if it is a wallpaper that exists or is it a handpainted one such as is done by Paul Montgomery in Virginia ..If it is it could come in another color way..I love the gray but it would not work with my exsting scheme which is largely melon and pinks..It is such a treat to see this!!!!!

I love looking at your days through the lens. And that tile!!! I’m in love.
Love to Teddy.

If you love pillows as much as I do, I found the book ONCE UPON A PILLOW by Rebecca Vizard to be fascinating. Love the tile.

Have always wanted to know what rug is in your living room? Would love one on a smaller scale!
