Hi friends and happy Saturday. So glad it’s the weekend and look forward to a day with no agenda (well actually tons of errands) but still I am on my own time and that is more cherished than ever before! Have dinner plans then off for a little pre birthday excursion with a few friends.

Hard to believe it’s that time of year again but its the holidays! And that means, among many other things…..the Holiday Love contest is  announced! I so love seeing how my super talented customers welcome and enjoy the holidays, whether its your table settings, your Christmas tree, your kids all decked out, pets too, your yard covered in that first snow….whatever the holidays might mean to you.

There are a few rules for the contest, kindly read over them before you submit your photo(s)

  • Now accepting your photos, max 2 per person (cannot be of the same thing)
  • Email your picture(s) to [email protected] (ON SUBJECT LINE PLEASE PUT CONTEST)
  • Only pictures sent to the above email address will be included
  • Deadline to submit pictures is Dec. 18th or until we have 80 pictures whichever comes first
  • The contest will begin Dec. 19th divided into 2 rounds, then a showdown round between two finalists
  • The capacity is 80 pictures, once we have 80 we will not be able to accept any more
  • All pictures welcome, however we will let you know if we cannot accept them due to poor quality, blurriness, crooked too dark, etc…
  • Must be your picture, not copied from the internet
  • Must be related in some way to the holidays
  • Please be sure your name is included in your email

As I always stress, clarity, lighting and size are really really important. It is usually best to take your picture during natural daylight. I always include some favorites (but there are many more) from years past, as there are so many that are a prime example of what makes a “good picture”. Please use these pictures below as as gauge as to what a good picture should look like, straight, bright, crisp and defined colors, quality counts and most phone cameras do the trick:)

So start thinking about your submissions and we cannot wait to see your pictures! Here are a few great examples from years past-

Such beauty! These could easily make a beautiful Christmas decorating book if you ask me. OK,  it’s your turn to show us your award winning photo(s)! Cannot wait to start getting them! Please email all photos to [email protected] and don’t forget to put “contest” on subject line. If we cannot accept your picture, we will notify you via email.

The prize-

One lucky winner will win THREE months of Enchanted Home goodies

It could be porcelains, silver, tole, melamine, flowers….every month will be a surprise for three months!

Thank you for stopping in, cannot wait to start getting your pictures. Happy Saturday and hope you enjoy your weekend. Until next time….

I always thought it was so difficult to decorate for Christmas, since my decor is ALL blue/white and holiday colors focus on red & green. Your site has completely changed my thinking! I can finally add holiday touches to the house without abandoning my fecor, thanks to your insight and talented and creative suggestions.

I love ❤️ Your tribute pictures of Teddy.
I think of my sweet Bell who went to the Rainbow Bridge over a year

Perfect timing…as I need some inspiration to get going on Christmas decor. Merry Christmas, Tina!
