Hi there! I am just coming off the heels of the most favorite party I have ever thrown……my Christmas party was so much fun and everything worked out exactly as I had hoped it would. I cannot wait to share it with you (next week). Needless to say between work, getting out a ton of holiday orders out the door, preparing for the party, just starting to wrap up gifts and now preparing for a house full of guests for Christmas I am one busy girl. It’s all good…I do love the holidays and I am slowly feeling like the intense pressure is now behind me, phew!
I always so enjoy holding these contests and this particular one (both round 1 and 2) has some of the best pictures I have ever gotten….which of course makes for a very difficult decision! Plus there are two rounds so this will require some serious contemplation:) Get those pencils and papers out, put on your thinking caps and decide which of these wonderful pictures best depicts “holiday love”. You can choose your three favorites.
The voting will end tomorrow morning at which time round 2 will post. On Thursday I will announce the two finalists for the showdown round, and that will be the final voting round. It will be fun to see which you choose. Without further ado, here is round 1 of Holiday Love-

I have gotten good at doing this and trust me, it’s good for the mind, body and soul! For me it could mean SITTING down with a cup of a coffee and a magazine, a bubble bath, taking a 15 min power nap…..I think it’s important to take those occasional mini breaks amidst all the chaos and craziness albeit fun craziness that the holiday season brings. Tina, small small world! I just had knee replacement surgery and my physical therapist was telling me her parents has retired and just started building their retirement home…guess what…they are your neighbors at Palmetto Bluff!!! They are building right down your street!
Although my votes were for my favorite Christmas decor, I think #37 — little red Volksvagen with the little boys — is a scene stealer exemplifying holiday spirit. It’s delightful!
Now I feel badly that I did not submit my Christmas photo of our young seal point Siamese, Percival. If you host this contest in 2018 I will be sure to submit it. These were all wonderful and thank you to all who shared. Now that I’m in more of a Christmas mood I will go home to bake more cookies and I promise to not complain about my aching back or feet!
There were so many beautiful pictures, I lost count. I narrowed it down not easily though! I loved 42, 37 and 27 but there are so. many good ones. I will definitely enter your next contest!
I love all the pictures of your precious baby at the end of all of your blogs. Please don’t ever stop that tradition that you started….that way we never forget him.
