Just recently returned from 6 blissful days in PB. It was soooo relaxing. I really enjoyed this “first” of celebrating Thanksgiving Palmetto Bluff style:) We decided this will become a tradition, and one I am looking forward to sharing with our family hopefully for years to come.
Everything felt so much calmer and more tranquil….maybe partially because it was “less steps” moving around this smaller kitchen and the open feeling just gave the entire day such a special and warm feeling. I loved that everyone was gathered in the same room as I was cooking it just felt really cozy and like Thanksgiving should feel.
I am including some pictures of the house with a few minor changes, a few taken over Thanksgiving and a few taken out and about in Palmetto Bluff because it is such a pretty spot to photograph. It never gets old and especially since they were just starting to decorate for the holidays, it really felt ultra magical!

Walking into this wonderful light filled oasis instantly lowers my blood pressure:)
Below a few scenes from our Thanksgiving table-
And found great ways to re purpose the flowers the next day!
Favorite time of day, early morning when you don’t hear a sound……it’s me my cup of coffee and 2 great new magazines:)
If you are in the market for beautifully crafted copper gas lanterns look no further than Copper Sculptures (all resources are listed below), I could not have been happier with them, their product or customer service.
Lots still ask about the shutter color, it is Nantucket Fog by Benjamin Moore
Love my front porch
And yet more flowers…but this time these were going to someone whose house we were going to for drinks, it was tempting to keep them
And a few pictures being out and about about Palmetto Bluff-
Every gate was getting a pair of Christmas wreaths
This is the old inn which now serves as a beautiful and super elegant space for private events and weddings and houses a wonderful wine/cigar bar
The new Montage below getting all decked out-
There is a new area called Moreland, where they have a conservation center, yoga studio, bowling alley, restaurants, pool club and so much more, its a really beautiful spot-
Ending it with this gorgeous picture I took of the late sun streaming through the moss, pretty enough to paint:)

And that friends, is my recap from my last visit to PB. Have you been? It really is such a special place, and I feel so lucky to get there as often as I possibly can. In fact, once the month of December and all the holiday craziness that goes along with it settles down, we are supposed to be taking an trip outside the country but I could probably be as happy going there and just unplugging and relaxing for a while:)
I am so happy you decided to share this fun journey with me, and will keep you posted as things continue to shape up over there. My next projects are finally choosing two chests for two areas that need furniture, 2 mirrors, creating a gallery wall and hopefully choosing some art! To be continued……

PPS A new contest has been announced, our annual HOLIDAY LOVE CONTEST!! Already started getting some sensational entries, really gorgeous! See below to find out how to send your 1-2 pictures in for a chance to win 2 months of Enchanted Home goodies! Good luck:)
Because of you my husband and I went to Palmetto Bluff for two nights and stayed in one of the fabulous cottages a couple of years ago. We had a wonderful time. I take my mother to Hilton Head for Mother’s Day week every year with my sister, sister in law and niece but really wanted to go to Palmetto Bluff with my husband. Love reading about your visits, they should consider making you their Palmetto Bluff Ambassador!
Tina – I LOVE your place and it does look very relaxing. I have been in the market for solid white ginger jars with foo dog lids for quite some time and I love the ones in your pic. Where can I get them?
Tina, I was in Hilton Head last fall, and had the opportunity to see Palmetto Bluff because the Hilton Head Symphony had a “Symphony Under the Stars” event there. It was a lovely setting! If you have a chance to see and hear the orchestra while in the area, be sure to do it. It is wonderful. They also do events other than concerts, such as their “Kitchens of Note” tour, where you can tour various homes in the area and taste food made by well-known chefs. The Hilton Head – Savannah area is full of great things to do, but the orchestra is one of the best!
Even though you have a large screened porch off your great room, the room is still light filled! How did you accomplish that? My great room also has a screened porch off it but my room is not light filled.
