Hi there, hope this finds you well. I was lucky enough to get to PB for a few days but had to cut the trip short due to the sudden death of a dear friend, it was hard to say goodbye but I am so glad I was able to be here and honor her life and give a eulogy.
They say one lives leaves this earth as another enters and I became an aunt!! My sister’s daughter had a beautiful baby girl on Oct 4th and we are just overjoyed beyond words!! I cannot wait to go and meet her, since they are in Savannah, it’s one more good excuse to get down there as soon as possible. Hoping within the next two weeks, the sooner the better, as far as I am concerned:)
Progress is being made on the Palmetto Bluff homefront , and the name of the game with this post is wallpaper! So thrilled with the progress, 2 spaces down and 2 more to go. Take a look….

Landscaping around the house is just about done and starting to fill in. So excited that the deer did not attack our hydrangea.
It seems like they stay away from the Limelight variety, works for me:)
Definitely one of the best seats in the house!!
Here is the office/mudroom which is the one remaining space left to be done. We just had the beautiful lattice painted the same color blue and then wallpaper happens next week-
Morning view-
And got this gorgeous blue and white chinoiserie wallpaper installed in my bathroom! Finally have the blue and white bathroom and loving it:) Now waiting on window treatments-
And here is the powder room-
I was planning to use green or blue sconces but did not have them yet so put up the white, may consider painting the mirror blue or green and keep up the white sconces. Love how everything has cone together here….
And here is my reference list of everything we used and love!
Fun to share the latest with you as this house becomes a home. Doing it from afar means it will take a bit longer but slow and steady wins the race. I hope to get down there soon and have pillows and a few accessories coming. Look forward to sharing as things continue to progress in my happy place.
A huge congratulations to Montage Palmetto Bluff for being named #1 resort in the south and a very prestigous #14 in the world by Condè Nast’s recent readers choice awards….quite an honor! (click here to read)
