Hi there hope you are having a great week. Mine has been a fair balance of work and play, as I am trying to savor these last drops of summer.? As I periodically do I am sharing with you a snippet of my life as seen through my little “assistant”, my iPhone.
I cannot believe that summer is just about to wind down!? I know I say it every year but this year has gone ridiculously fast. I am not going to say it’s been the best summer so while I love all that summer encompasses I am somewhat looking forward to a new season…..and of course we all know fall is my absolute favorite!
How about you? Hate to see summer go or will you welcome fall with open arms? Here is a snippet of life as seen through my iPhone……

Picked hydrangeas from my yard then I turned them into little arrangements that I used through the house…

Best fresh peach and blueberry pie on this earth from Briermere Farms, add farm flowers and it’s a match made in heaven:)

Added some new blue and white jars to upstairs hallway chest

Ah…..got out east to indulge in a fabulous lobster roll from the original and one and only at “Lunch”
Can you believe in the? magic of nature? My white azalea topiaries are blooming…go figure!
Finally getting around to ordering window treatments for laundry room! Thinking a flat roman with a Greek key tape

Looks like Teddy thinks this is one giant water bowl
NYC’s energy never ceases to amaze me and the pace at which it moves…always like to stop in to Dean and Deluca!
Sneak peek at the most exquisite handpainted silk pillows and window treatment panels coming this way very very soon!! They have my name written all over them:)
And these fabulous white foo dog lamps will be added within the next day or two…
And how about this fabulous line of custom sconces painted any color your heart desires!

LOVE LOVE LOVE hand painted pillows. I’ve done a few myself, and have some silk waiting in a bag now 😉 Love the pheasant one. That would look fabulous on the bench in my foyer!!!

Oh that lobster roll! A special summer treat! I do love the hustle and bustle of NYC but it is nice to escape that to a more serene environment at home.

so far my weekend has involved sweeping rubble, shlepping a big ol roll of carpet into a messy cottage, and removing staples from the floor. so hope you don’t mind…i snatched a few blueberries and peaches from your pie, chugged the margarita, and sampled the lobster roll for good measure. feelin much better now. gorgeous glimpses, tina!
