Good evening friends!  Hope you are having a great week. Did you see our brand new arrivals on the home page! So many pretties and more coming up:)  Here lots going on and its been busy busy busy. Can you believe we are almost done with our new Christmas  holiday gift wrap collection for 2019!

Also for anyone in the low country area,  our PB home was selected to be in the Parade of Homes. The tour kicks off tomorrow March 29th and will run through Sunday, March 31st. Click here to go to the organizer’s website for ticket info. So wish I could be there!

Sounds crazy but with the way that  holidays creep up on us, I learned from last year that this cannot be done too soon! Also our new 2019 ornament collection has also started so yes we are busy elves even in March:) This is going to be the best yet and I am very excited about it!

We have lots in store and I look forward to sharing everything with you as things unfold. Most of this particular random musings post centers around Palmetto Bluff since I was there for the week but some highlights from around the office too. So onward with the highlights of the last 10 days or so…..

Driving into the tree lined road with the Spanish moss that leads to Palmetto Bluff was a sight for my weary eyes!

One of the highlights of the week was getting a small box of my newest spring chinoiserie gift wrap, could not love it more! It’s sooo pretty. Stay tuned for a giveaway and it will be here in about 4 weeks:)

Of course had to give it a trial run and wrap up some gifts! The lighting in the office is horrible but this gives you an idea of how gorgeous this paper is!

This is the sitting area for a guest suite at PB added these new pillows which I love and the pretty hydrangea arrangement, we will have to hang things on the all and make it feel a little cozier but really like the way this space is shaping up

In that guest suite we have a small kitchenette with a refrigerator, cabinets, etc….I found this adorable tray at Target and thought it was perfect for water bottles, etc…

A slice of life at Palmetto Bluff

The highlight of the last two weeks was seeing my gorgeous wallpaper go up….L O V E it!

My favorite space..the porch

Though I am not done, made some progress on bookcases. Had a few books and then went to a local bookshop and found some strictly for color (so don’t judge on these super random titles lol) waiting for the rest I ordered

And I thought I got lucky and escaped the pollen…no such luck!

My favorite thing to do in PB…..nothing:) Doesn’t that view almost look fake?

View from my kitchen window

Early morning at the pool one day…..loved having it to myself!

My southern blogging headquarters!

View late afternoon……ahhhhh just seeing this picture takes my blood pressure down a few notches:)

Added this pretty wicker tray to my cocktail table..slowly but surely it’s coming together!

And possibly the single most exciting thing in a long time is seeing my gorgeous etched pieces come in (samples) so excited over these. I had seen a pair at 1st Dibs that were beautiful but very expensive. Then I saw them in Charlotte Moss’s book in the most exquisite holiday setting and couldn’t get them off my mind, so………. I created them! These were a long time in the making but so worth the wait. Will hold a presale on these in about 2 weeks, stay tuned!

This is the glorious setting out of Charlotte Moss’s book and if you don’t have her book below, you MUST get it…..it is a top two favorite book of all time!

And my samples-

And a few of my samples on my dining room table aka my experimental lab:) The cake dome has a plate underneath which is not shown and the hurricanes will come in 2 sizes, one large shown which is about 18″ and the other is 12″.

And that friends is a wrap! See anything here that excites you? Leaving Palmetto Bluff is and was never easy as the pace really agrees with me, but coming back to the stunning etched samples and gorgeous gift wrap made it a lot more bearable.  Thank you for stopping by, hope your week is going well. Until next time…….

My mother has 2 etched hurricanes similar to your new ones. I have been looking for almost 10 years to find something like hers! Can’t wait to see them when they come in!

OMG! Those etched “hurricanes” are to die for – A perfect complement to my glass candlestick holders; adding
some bulk to tablescape.

Where to begin!!! I love and want everything including the palmetto bluff house hehe.
The giftwrap is to die for- and the hurricanes and cake plate are amazing creations. I love that you were creating things that are almost impossible to find! Your talent is a blessing to all of us Tina and your kindred spirit shines through. What a beautiful page of eye candy to end the night with! Well I take that back my night is not quite ending I have to go pick up my daughter from her SAT tutor at 9:30 ??

What a feast for my eyes!! So much beauty. The giftwrap and etched pieces at wismply exquisite!! Any idea when they are coming in??

The spring gift wrap is lovely – like everything you do! And the etched pieces – oh my — You better stock up on those. Reorder now. Great gifts to order now. So pretty.

Are the shade you used Hunter Douglas sunshades or haas someone else started making that style. Are they electrified??

WOOOOWEEEEE!!!! I’ve been waiting for that cake dome (and stand). Really looking forward to that gorgeous baby!!
Love those hurricanes as well !

Enjoy your down time 🙂

Beautiful etched hurricanes. The hurricanes would be a lovely accent anywhere. Palmetto Bluff, a great place to relax and put your feet up. Also, love your new gift wrap.

Thanks for bringing me back to Palmetto Bluff. Our recent visit was so delightful and seeing your photos brought it all back. Love your new glass line and appreciate what an accomplishment it is to create products. Congratulations!

Hi Tina,
The pollen has hardly started yet. It does get bad and it lasts a long time.
You’ll drive yourself crazy cleaning it over and over again. Lots of people wait till it ends and then pressure wash their homes , porches, and furniture. I love your open porch but hate the pollen so this home has easy breeze windows to keep most of it out. But still take everything off both porches, clean the room and furniture, wash pillows and whatever else I can wash and then start the summer. I’m in upstate SC about 10 minutes from Charlotte. Lived in Charlotte over 35 years. Had pollen there which was worse because I lived on a wooded lot, in a wooded development, had a massive porch and decking which was our favorite area. Cleaning e erything to me three days even with help!?

I am new to the blog and want to tell you how much I enjoy your daily posts! So refreshing and inspiring. I love all the blue and white, Especially fond of the gift wrap and excited to see the etched glass! Lastly, your pollen laden paper towels made me laugh as I am in GA and can’t be too far from a tissue this time of year!

Your pup is absolutely adorable- brings a smile to your beautiful home, sites of Palmetto, and fun blog!

Beautiful and very relaxing! Love the pavers and tile around pool. You are so kind to share with readers the products you use. Could you tell me the product used for pool deck and tile around pool?
Thank you Tina for sharing resources, have a great day.
Susan

Everything is so beautiful. I had to chuckle when I read that you buy books based on color! You are a true decorator!!! Love it.
