Hi there, wow are we really up to chapter 52!! And you have been there with me, from the very first time I went as a mere visitor to Palmetto Bluff with no idea that we would fall in love with it enough to buy property and build there:) Once you enter those pearly gates lined with old oaks and gas lanterns, there is simply no turning back:)  And here we are on Chapter 52, go figure!

I so miss being there and am trying my darnedest to get there in the next two weeks or so, even if for a few days, it is the absolute best place to recharge my batteries. Plus Sept/Oct is a beautiful time of year to visit.

Today I am featuring some professional shots that were taken by our builders office, Element Construction (formally Cameron Builders) and photographer J Savage Gibson. The pictures are just beautiful, the editing which was done by a photographer was done for a specific editorial piece, some of the colors were done with a specific hue which to me threw off a few of the actual colors but it worked well with their editorial piece, however still love them!

Two things before we begin which I have been. meaning to go over-

1. First is many of you email and call us asking how to go back to Bluff Diaries from the beginning, it is actually quite easy. On top of the website you will see tabs, you need to click on BLOG-

Once on the blog home page, this houses every single blog post I have ever done (that is a lot of content)! On the right is a search button-

Type in BLUFF DIARIES then hit the little magnifier search icon next to it-

You will then be taken to all of the Bluff Diary posts that I have ever done!  Scroll down where you will get to see all 51 chapters, happy reading:)

2. Many ask about my bikes which we have 6 of and I love, I had spoken of them long ago when I first go them but here is the info again. Best part is not only are they super pretty but sooooo reasonable. Thanks Walmart for making them a deal! I also added the baskets to mine.

Tina, What a beautiful tribute to your taste and the builders skill. Truly magic! I can see why this is your happy place, I can’t imagine a more beautiful place to spend time. You truly have such talent, not only gorgeous but truly functional. When you mix the two it is perfection!

So beautiful! I enjoy seeing the finished product after being asked for opinions during the process. Hope you spend many happy days there!

Beautiful! Award well deserved! The bikes are fine for low country biking, no hills, but with no speeds and brakes using the old time, backward petal method, these are best for a leisurely stroll…maybe not something the younger crowd likes. we have one among our stable of bikes, and it is the last one chosen.

Thanks Tina , I am also building s house there and have often asked how to get to the bluff diaries. After trying many times I realized that I was trying to get there in my ph which doesn’t bring up the tabs. I realized I had to get there on a computer or lap top. I hope that helps others out !

What a beautiful home! Thank you for sharing your vacation home on your website. Your emails are such a “feel good” moment for me and I look forward to each one you send!

What is the room with the door that opens to a down staircase? It has a sofa and a sink. What’s it used for?

Tina, thank you for sharing your BEAUTIFUL home!! I wish you and your family many happy times there.

Beautiful home and a fantastic get away! The Builder and Your design choices and details in the home are exceptional! Lovely! Congratulations to all involved. Many happy days in your vacation home. ?

Like a mini vacation just looking at those beautiful photographs. Such restful colors and an easy living but elegant design. Your builder definitely was deserving of that award.

Such a lovely home! I wish you many years of happiness there!!
I would be so appreciative if you could tell us exactly which cabinet pulls and knobs you used in your kitchen. Thank you!

Your home is beautiful! I had a thought about your family room. The TV above the fireplace could be replaced with the frame tv by samsung. You can get it with a white frame that would go nicely with your wall color and then choose a cool art picture from over 400 pictures to put in it. It looks like a painting instead of a black box on the wall. I did two at our lake house and they are fabulous!

Hi I cannot tell you what a treat this was ! Your house is my dream coastal vacation house?. We were in Palmetto Bluff last October and we fell in love my husband said that he could easily see owning a home there, he’s a big golfer and he loved the entire vibe . You did such a beautiful job, I love the colors that you chose and just the overall feeling is so serene and welcoming . Thank you for so generously sharing your sources ?

Your happy place is simply stunning. You did a beautiful job designing it. I especially love the kitchen. Positively dreamy.

Love the scale and serene furnishings & appointments. Very Southern in the best way.
Fresh yet traditional. You’ve really outdone yourself here.

Beautiful home! We’re looking forward to our first visit to Palmetto Buff next spring. Could you share the source of the sofa table and two end tables in your living room?
